Had an excellent experience with J.P McCurdy Electrical recently. Chris R. and Andres E. were terrific to work with. They were knowledgeable, on-time and thorough in their work.

I've used McCurdy for multiple jobs within the past year (including a major knob and tube removal) and my experiences have been very positive. Jack has been extremely friendly each time I've met with him and he has always taken his time in assessing the job and discussing the options. Their customer service and schedulers have been responsive, friendly, communicative, and accommodating. The various electricians who have worked on my home have been professional, friendly, and fast.

Family owned company that always treats their customers with respect and transparency. Beatriz is always a pleasure to deal with and super helpful. I strongly recommend them to anyone.

We have used McCurdy electric several times and been very happy with their work. This time was no exception! We were updating the lighting in our kitchen and adding additional light to a dark hallway. Doug managed the project for us and offered great suggestions. The work was completed in one day. The electricians answered all our questions, were
professional and did a great job cleaning up at the end. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I needed a level I charge station for my new plug-in Prius Prime. Basically a new 110v outlet in the front of my house for me to plug in the car. They did an excellent job, a bit less costly than I anticipated and cleaned up after themselves. Hard to tell the outlet was installed and it works just fine. I would chose them if I needed any other work.

Exceptional service by Einstein today. I have already recommended McCurdy to two other people. From the original call to book the service to the completion of the project everyone was courteous, friendly and extremely competent. Couldn’t possibly recommend them more!

Chris, Andrew, and Bill were great. They installed two EV chargers and resolved some lighting issues we've been having with our overhead lights flickering on and off. Would highly recommend.

Needed immediate attention to fix broken ceiling tile before it fell on someone. Manager obtained a lift and technicians were very effective, worked hard, pleasant, and able to deal with the heights required for this job.

The communication with Beatrice in the Office was great from start to finish and it just continued down right to the crew, Brandon K and Joe C who showed up on time were very professional and courteous! The team at McCurdy Electrical Services was recommended to us for our bathroom remodeling project by our general contractor. The project involved updating 2 service panels as well as rough wiring and finish installation of outlets, switches and fixtures for each bathroom. From the outset, scheduling and coordination by Bea and Judy of onsite work orders and local Inspections were timely and very professional. The field staff, Joe, Brandon, Chris, Andres & Caleb were all very proficient, but also very responsive to space and time required by other contractors as they occasionally needed to complete work in the same spaces. The McCurdy team worked primarily from the electrical layout provided by our designer, but they also made useful suggestions for specific improvements as each phase of the project moved along. We definitely plan to use the McCurdy team again for any electrical work needed going forward.

Chris and Andres serviced our address and did an excellent job. They were extremely flexible with the timing of the repairs, as bad weather events kept changing the date, but once begun they were able to get everything completed quickly and thoroughly. Additionally, McCurdy's pricing was significantly better than any of the other electricians we contacted for high quality work. I highly recommend their services, and I will certainly look to them in the future for all my electrical needs!

Contacted to provide an estimate. Arrived and looked an outlet for 30 minutes. Sent a bill for over $450.00 for 3 hours of “diagnostic” work. No work was asked for and no work was done. Then, after providing feedback, they will take you to court if you don’t pay for the “work”. When showing up for court there are 14 people taking off work to attend small claims court because of their inaccurate billing. The worst billing practices I had ever seen. Stay far away.

We had a great experience with JP McCurdy! The whole process was straight forward and easy. The crew, Chris, Andres, and Caleb, was extremely professional and timely. They left our house clean and were very respectful while working. We had recessed lighting put in throughout our house. Everything turned out great and they checked in with us throughout the project which took 2.5 days. We had a great experience overall and will definitely use them in the future.

I’ve used this company multiple times for light fixture installations and have always been impressed by the quality of their work and how knowledgeable the electricians are. Recently, I needed help with a leak that was impacting an electrical unit, and they came out right away and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this entire team.

Because of Einsten and Caleb I'll always be going here for electrical services. They were great, explained everything they completed and also checked with me about countertop appliances so that the outlets would be wired for how I use them. They showed up on time, were super respectful, and gave some tips to make sure everything still looked and worked great after the kitchen is completed. And Beatrice was lovely to work with for scheduling.
