Great work at a great price. Very responsive, we had a quote within a day of contacting and service within a week. The guys did a great job clearing growth on a very large and not easily accessible oak tree in our back yard. The work was done quickly and neatly and the mess thoroughly cleaned up afterward. When our condo insurance mandated we trim overhanging branches/limbs, I sought quotes from a half dozen businesses. J’s Crew Tree impressed me most - during J's walkthrough, he pointed out where he would cut, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, what he would NOT cut. He spoke about ensuring the health of the tree and wanted to avoid excessive trimming or else the trees could die (which would be an aesthetic, ecological, AND financial pain).

No other contractor spoke with this much knowledge or transparency. He also quoted me a very reasonable price all things considered; in one case it was HALF of other quotes given to me (again, without the same detailed explanation).

J’s crew came with cherry picker and mulching trucks, and his crew members climbed trees that were inaccessible otherwise. They removed branches efficiently, and without damaging my house or any surrounding property. Arrived at 8am done by 11am. 5/5 would seek J's Crew first for future tree trimming needs.

Jan was very responsive when I contacted him. He came out to review the job, which was to trim trees and bushes from brushing the house. We discussed what I was looking for (didn't want shrubbery to look like it had had a haircut), we agreed on price, and set a date for him and his crew to come. They arrived promptly, the work they did was wonderful (you could not tell they had been there - no litter of little twigs, no sawdust and the trees and bushes looked great. I will definitely use him again.

J’s crew was efficient and professional! They came in the morning, pruned 4 trees beautifully, cleaned surrounding ivy and had everything cleaned up within the day. Less than 6 hours. Arborists were climbing in the pine trees, working carefully to get the trees pruned properly.
The owner, J, is great at communicating: showed up quickly when I requested an estimate, checked and confirmed all timing and pricing details, sent reminders…Considering the skyrocketing cost of diesel, the pricing seemed reasonable. I’ll definitely hire them again!

James and Ricardo did an amazing job on a fallen in our backyard! I found J’s on Google and scrolled through the reviews. From the first call and quote, they were very responsive. I am thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by J's Crew on my tree grove project. They arrived at a considerate hour, ensuring that my neighbors were not disturbed. Their team efficiently cleared brush piles, felled two large trees, smoe smaller trees and a few stumps as well as pruned four others, demonstrating remarkable agility and safety awareness while climbing and swinging between trees. The use of a bucket truck facilitated the safe removal of the largest oak tree. It was fascinating to watch the crew expertly drop large branches with precision, taking great care to avoid any damage to neighboring properties. Moreover, they utilized protective boards to prevent tire tracks on my lawn, showcasing their dedication to detail.
