Unless they have an office in CVS there doesn't seem to be a real address for them other than the website.
This morning when I called to ask where they are actually located Charles hung up on me.
I set the appointment up Wednesday with Micha to clean the carpet on my hallway stairs.
I was not expecting a miracle but I was expecting that there would be some difference.
The young man that arrived to clean the stairs seemed to be a nice fellow.
Unfortunately after seeing the results this morning when the carpet had dried it was obvious that he had needed to use more cleaning solution.
I had a cleaning service for twenty five years.
I am familiar with cleaning products and the amounts that need to be used in order for them to be effective.
Ben initially sprayed the carpeting with a prep solution.
I noticed that he did not cover the whole area nor did he let it sit for a while.
I commented on the amount that he was using.
He assured me that it was enough.
I spoke to him about the amount of water that he was using, for 15 stairs and a landing.
He showed me that there was still some clean water left in the tank.
He also showed me the so-called dirty water.
I commented that it did not look that dirty.
I noticed the bottle of soap that he was using didn't have much missing.
He told me that it was concentrated,that he didn't need that much.
It looked diluted to me.
When he finished the job
I had the option of paying with credit card or cash. When I asked how much the tax would be paying with a credit card
he told me that it would be sixteen dollars.
I later checked it out.
In Massachusetts, carpet cleaning service it not taxable.
I paid a hundred and ninety nine dollars in cash along with a ten dollar tip.
This morning I called the woman that had set up the cleaning appointment to comment about the lack of actual cleaning and the fact that the receipt was not from Marblehead Carpet Cleaning.
The receipt was from Carpet4 YouCleaning and the telephone number was unreachable.
I told her the service felt like a scam and that I would like my money returned.
Also, I'd like to mention that on the bottom of the receipt they have a disclaimer that if someone needs a return cleaning it's forty nine dollars or if there is a dispute it will go to court and cost you six hundred dollars or three times the amount of the technician's labor fee.
I did not sign my name to that agreement.
I put "not applicable".
I don't believe that this is a legally viable clause.
I called the company this morning,March 18th.
I told the man that answered they need to stop scamming people.
He slammed the phone down.
A woman that had seen my comment told me that she had also been scammed by them and that they had done a horrible job.

great service was given by ayden and leonard, who were able to restore our carpet back to its original condition. waking up to a house full of dirty carpets wasn't the best way to start the day in marblehead. they took the time to explain the required steps before starting the work. after doing some research, i felt the price was a bit on the high side for the carpet replacement needed. however, i understand that the top-notch service of finest marblehead carpet cleaning is worth the price.
