Tree reviews in Marion, Massachusetts

Chris came out a day or so after me reaching out for a quote to have some stumps ground out (weather was an issue here). Price was VERY affordable. I even ended up adding on an additional one. A couple weeks later, Colin came out to grind the stumps with the coolest robot machine grinder. Bye, bye stumps! He was really careful of our property and let me and my neighbor watch my biggest stump get ground out...very cool! I'd definitely recommend them and I have to a few neighbors!! Great crew.

I hired Notch in February 2019 to remove a large pine that was a danger to my home. I also had several other large oak trees that had to be removed and or pruned that were difficult because there was no way to get a boom truck to the work area. Chris and his two excellent employees exceeded all my expectations. The price was very reasonable and the work was done professionally and very neatly. The owner Chris Welch climbs the trees and at no time was I worried about my property being damaged, he and his crew are very skilled at what they do. Over my 35 years of home ownership of have hired a number of tree companies, in my opinion Notch Your Average Tree Service is by far the most professional and best equipped company I have used. I will definitely use them again!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Chris and his entire crew were courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and very professional. They made quick work of taking down 10+ massive trees in our yard even trees that were difficult to access. They were very respectful and cleaned up everything after they were here. They also we’re flexible to meet our timing and budget. They do fantastic work and they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend!

Notch Your Average Tree delivered exceptional results. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. I was thoroughly impressed with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I am so appreciative of Chris and his awesome crew. My well established umbrella pine, which had been on the corner of my foundation for over 20 years, leaned over at a 30 degree angle and was ready to drop. Chris sent Andrew over who righted and staked the tree within days, saving my favorite tree.
Last year they took my large diseased cooper beech down, ground the large stump and left my backyard spotless. This company is exceptional. Does business the old school way, with respect, fair pricing and a huge effort to completely satisfy the customer. Thank you so much Chris and Andrew!

Awesome service and fair pricing. If you want to hire the professionals, you need Notch Your Average Tree Service! Plus they have the best equipment to get the job done right and safe. The owner Chris and his team was great to work with.

My backyard looks fantastic!! When I met Chris for the estimate, I did not hesitate to hire him for the tree removal work I needed done. Chris kept me informed of the time frame for the planned work. He and his crew arrived on time & efficiently set up the equipment needed to remove my trees - one was 100 feet plus that was leaning towards my house. The crew took the time to answer my questions and were very friendly. It’s obvious they enjoy their work and definitely work as a team. The crew cut down the tress and cleaned the yard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Notch Your Average Tree Service.
THANK YOU Chris and Crew 😊

Chris Welch and his team at Notch Your Average Tree Service are a first-rate, efficient and courteous operation. We recently had them remove 20+ trees, grind several stumps and brush cut an area within our condominium community. Their attention to detail, focus on the safety of the property and people are second to none. The trees were located quite close to the building, yet the team’s precision use of their high tech equipment was impressive and their ability to maneuver sizable trunks through relatively small areas was on full display. They left the property in remarkably good condition, given the large number of trees that were removed. This is the second time we have used NYATS and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of tree work.
