I give PEGASUS my highest recommendation. Our project comprised several different elements that took our home to a whole new level of comfort and good looks, including gut remodel of 1.5 baths, adding head space to a cramped staircase, new hardwood flooring and refinishing existing floors, expanding a closet, improving structural supports in basement, vinyl siding, and adding a decorative roof line to front of house for visual interest. We've lived in our "new" house several months now and could not be happier with the results.

Geoff (owner), Jenna (designer), Mike (PM), and the rest of the PEGASUS staff were fantastic to work with. We place a high value on working with professionals who are knowledgeable and organized because my husband and I know we don't have the bandwidth to deal with contractors and subs ourselves. If you are getting multiple quotes (which you should), PEGASUS will not be the cheapest, but the value is real. The finished product speaks for itself.

When we started talking with Geoff about the project, he was very up front about what he thought it would cost and how long it would take to complete. The statement of work was thorough, and we had no unplanned costs during the project. We had to be out of the house for some of the work and are so thankful that everything was done on time, saving us from paying additional rent. Mike was instrumental in making the whole project, ensuring the work was done right and completed on time. He provided daily updates, and we had zero anxiety.

Jenna helped us see the potential in our house and had lots of ideas on how to make our small space function better and look better. We started off considering an addition, which Jenna drew plans for, and then she worked with us to iterate until we reached a plan to renovate within our existing footprint.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with PEGASUS again in the future.

Be careful - diagrams we're inaccurate, and not compatible with other architects! Charges are exorbitant for simply design while construction costs end up being much higher than quoted estimates at the beginning of the process. Wasted money....

At first we had a great experience with PEGASUS - the team was professional and attentive to our needs.
We ended up getting an initial estimate range for our project which we felt fairly comfortable with so we decided to move forward with the design process which they charged for. We get to keep the designs and we ended up liking most of them. So far so good.
The crew came out to get a firm quote for the work and it was much, much higher than the initial estimate. We asked if there was a way to get it in the range that they initially provided. Nope.
After investing many months and quite a bit of money for the designs, the ending felt very abrupt and cold.
As another person mentioned, beware of the initial estimate. It very well may not reflect what they will charge and at that point you may have lost a lot of time and money.

We had an amazing experience with Pegasus. We completed a kitchen remodel and mudroom/master bath/closet addition. They were on time, on budget, and so nice to work with. Every single person on the team was wonderful, and now we're living in our dream home!

We absolutely loved every step of the home renovation process with Pegasus. We had our kitchen redone, and they had great ideas on layout and materials. They were extremely organized and communicative, and every member of their staff that we interacted with was professional and wonderful to work with. And we love our new kitchen. We would gladly seek them out for future work, and highly recommend them.

Our experience with Pegasus was amazing, I would recommend anyone doing a house project to call them. We called them first then had lots of other contractors/design build places come to see who else was out there, I wish we went with Pegasus right away and saved time!

For our project (addition/first floor/kitchen renovation) we decided to move out because it would have been hard living home w/kids, which is another thing to consider if your moving out, Pegasus was motivated to finish the job, and finish the job right!

We first worked with Jenna the architect who was amazing and got our plans ready. We got a quote for the scope of work and we decided to go with them and they took off running, the project finished pretty much exactly what we were quoted, no surprises or issues, we were even able to do add on a few items that made our home even better. Our project manager Mike was awesome, he would email us basically everyday with a status update and/or upcoming work, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a renovation. He was very knowledgeable, responsive and addressed any concerns/questions we had, same with the entire Pegasus team throughout the project, they were all great to work with!

It is a great feeling to trust the business and the workmanship you are paying to renovate your home, we even had neighbors raving to us about the work they were seeing when we were not living home. I think peace of mind when it comes to your home is something everyone should consider in the overall cost and scope of the work, and with Pegasus we had that!

Pegasus was awesome. Their communication was prompt and pleasant, we loved working with them. Our kitchen came together beautifully and they planned a beautiful space for us to live in!! Jenna is both an artist and a genius. We loved her design!

Pegasus Contracting recently completed a kitchen renovation for me, and from start to finish they were absolutely wonderful to work with. They provided great recommendations and advice at the beginning around all the aspects - design, cabinets, tile, counter, flooring, lighting, appliances. The quality of the work throughout was excellent, their team is very experienced, dedicated, and respectful. I was tremendously grateful for the daily communication from the project manager; what a difference it made when living through a renovation to be kept informed on progress and what was planned for the next day. With highly skilled workers and expert coordination of all the phases of the project, my kitchen was completed exactly on timeline. Wow!

Pegasus did a first floor addition to our home which included a primary bedroom, spacious closet, three piece bathroom, and pantry space. I cannot say enough positive things about working with this company! They made our vision come to life (thanks Jenna!) in a tight space. Start to finish everyone we interacted with was personable, highly skilled, and responsive. The project was completed on budget and quicker than the initial time projection. We lived in the home with two toddlers and a dog during the construction (while also working from home) and it was truly minimally disruptive to our daily routines. We received daily emails on the progress of the work which was so helpful (Mike is the best!). The space is gorgeous and makes me feel like I'm living in a fancy hotel. They are the best contractors I have ever worked with! I would highly recommend them!

When our washer wouldn’t fill up with water, I contacted the appliance repair company we trusted. They immediately dispatched their serviceman, and he arrived quickly. He replaced several components efficiently, and he handled the concern in no time. I thought I would pay a steep fee, but he only charged a small amount.

I’ve called on Walter a few times over the years and he has always come through for me. He’s old school and climbs the trees and drops limbs carefully. Many other guys I talked to wanted to hire a crane and use a bunch of expensive equipment.

Great work and competitive prices. They were quick and timely with checking my yard and providing a quote for tree removal. Great and professional service on the removal, would highly recommend!

We were in a bit of a pinch as we had been trying to have a few very large shrubs removed prior to our home being resided, but everyone we called was booked out 6-8weeks. On the day of our residing, we decided to give it another go and try a few more local Melrose businesses so we called Lieberman Tree Service. Walter answered the phone and promptly came over to check out the job.

Due to some weather rescheduling Walter, and his son Joe, were able to come out and help us *same day* to remove these eyesores that will also allow for our aiding to be out on more easily.

While we don’t have any other large trees on property, would highly recommend Lieberman Tree Service for all your tree needs, even if there is a wait! We had the chance to chat with the guys after removal and they were both incredibly knowledge, and tuned in to the Melrose tree codes (fun fact, that tree on our sidewalk is city property!).

Overall an incredibly trustworthy, high quality business who provided amazing service at great price.
