I’m giving 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars. Raymond is the worst person I have met or dealt with as a technician. The day he came in he had no clue how to take the dishwasher out of its place. He wanted to cut open the floor in order to take the dishwasher out when my husband told him that he did not need to do that, he was extremely rude and almost threw his tools at the table and asked my husband to do it, my husband figured out how to take the dishwasher out of its place with multiple cuts and wounds on both his hands (we are not technicians, if we knew how to fix a dishwasher ourselves. We probably would not have called a technician to our house) Upon telling this to Sears, they said they were sorry and that they will send a different technician the next time. Raymond (I feel like on purpose) ordered a wrong part that was also backordered and took more than three weeks to get shipped to us on his first visit. Sears sent the same guy Raymond to our house again. He came in and again, extremely rude, said that this was the wrong part that was ordered, and that he will order the right parts and place the order for the right parts. He never felt sorry for his behavior or his inefficiency to figure out the problem or do not be able to take out a dishwasher to even fix it. There was not only rudeness and lack of knowledge, but also ignorance and no apologies whatsoever. That took another week and a half two weeks to come in, we complained to Sears at least five or more times to not send the same technician again and yet Raymond showed up at our house the third time. He took out the old parts left a big mess behind him while leaving did not bother to take the old parts with him, left the dishwasher outside and did not bother to put it back in and when asked to put the dishwasher back in, he just left ignorantly. My husband even told him that we will complain and his reply was., “ do what you need to do”. That was how rude, inefficient, arrogant person he was. He had a big time attitude problem and did not care about anything. I will not recommend this person to anybody. Try to avoid to have him in your house. He takes things from anywhere he wants and starts using them. For example, he took my kitchen towel and put it inside the dishwasher without even asking. In conclusion, this was my worst experience ever and in my opinion, Sears should take some serious steps about this person as I also read other reviews regarding the same person.

appointment was for yesterday and was a no show with no call or update. the repair person who came today had no solution or parts even though I submitted detailed description of the problem (washing machine gasket) It cost me $100 deductible for nothing, not happy.
-
Had a very nice experience with the technician. Hopefully, he is the one that comes back with the part

The technician was a 5 plus star Getting service was a minus 100. Cannot talk to a human only Ai. They canceled my appointment at 5 pm via text and rescheduled it with no explanation. Worst scheduling I have ever experienced

The technicians who came to our home were very professional and did a great job! Unfortunately, the processes around the visits were frustrating. There were delays in receiving the necessary parts, issues with scheduling the technician’ visits, and seemingly no communication or transfer of information between them.

good service and very knowledge. the only 2 things thing I will provide as feedback are.
1). when I make the call to request service I provide the model number of the washer and provide details of the problem, incluso g the details of the part that has the problem and when the technitian show us he was not aware I had provided all that info. so the visit was a wasted of time as he need to go back and reschedule to get the part that I already had provided in the call. no the fault of the technitian but of the call center
2). the schedule time provided was to generic from 8-5 and never got a calm until 20 mins before coming which make us stays home from 8-5 with no way to know if we can leave for 1 hour or so. the schedule time could be more precise as soon as the technicians k ow his schedule to let people know that it will be end of morning or early or late afternoon -
Steve was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Kept me informed when he would arrive. Did the job quickly.

Due to serious health conditions, I rely on a functioning refrigerator to store essential medications. This situation has caused significant stress and disruption.
Last month Eric came to service the unit and defrosted it. At that time, I filed a food loss claim and showed the technician that everything inside was frozen solid. We restocked the refrigerator, expecting it to function at least temporarily while waiting for the necessary part.
Unfortunately, the refrigerator began freezing up again shortly after. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment on June 19, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. When I called late that day to confirm, I was surprised to learn the appointment had been rescheduled to July 10—without any prior notice. When I called to address this, I was told it was the only available slot and was assured such a delay would not happen again.
During that call, I also reported additional food loss. I was told I could write to Agreement Benefits to file another claim. However, when I contacted Master Protection, I was informed only one food loss claim is allowed per incident. This conflicting information left me with no way to report continued spoilage.
As of June 26, after returning from a weekend away, I discovered water on the floor and all the food inside defrosted, while ice continued building in the freezer. I called to report the issue and was again told I had to wait for the July 10 appointment.
Today, July 10, technician Eric finally serviced the fridge. He was excellent and professional, but it should not have taken over a month to resolve this. I still cannot file another food loss claim, despite experiencing multiple incidents.
This situation has been unacceptable, especially with my medical condition. I am requesting urgent review, resolution, and compensation for the inconvenience, repeated spoilage, and impact on my health. -
The quality of Sears maintenance support on major appliances has really gone downhill. The service is terrible. I experienced missed appointments, inability to talk to real people (i.e. AI access only) and now a misdiagnosis of the problem with my washing machine. Sears doesn't seem to care anymore .

Raymond was the worst dishwasher technician I've ever dealt with. He made me remove the dishwasher from the countertop myself, then ordered a part that turned out to be incorrect. When he finally replaced the part, he didn’t even bother to put the dishwasher back in place. Not only was he unprofessional and rude, but his lack of care and competence left me with more problems than I started with. Avoid Raymond at all costs if you value your time, money, and sanity.
When I told him to put back he said no I can’t. You can put it back the way you took it out. Such a ridiculous attitude towards work.
I’m now left with a half-finished job and a kitchen in disarray. Do yourself a favor and avoid Raymond at all costs. -
The service guy was rude & tried to leave say it was just a broken knob even though the first service guy said it was the timer. It was know drying hot & I asked him to put in the new timer that was shipped here. He was annoyed & could not wait to leave! AND this is after I waited 2 Full days for someone to show up & they never did!! Not even a call to let me know. Horrible experience.

Adair was EXTREMELY efficient, knowledgeable and competent!!
And he left the area clean and tidy as if he’d never been here! -
In the 15 years I have had Sears service, I have never had such a bad experience. Your technician refused to install the part your previous technician had told me we needed, and had ordered. The 1st technician seemed like a very knowledgeable person. He was also professional, polite, and an easy person to have in my house. The 2nd technician was rude, antagonist, and actually made me feel unsafe in my own home. A man I would describe as someone with a chip on their shoulder, short fuse, prone to outbursts, unpredictable.
As long as there is a chance he could show up at our house for service again, I will never call Sears Home Appliance for service again. -
It’s a mix bag. One time I had stove repair, the guy was fine.
With recent washer repair, communication was challenging with gentleman. He was unable to explain what was broken, instead just provided with outrageous amount to fix the issue. -
Sears Appliance Repair is the worst. I will never use again. The technician came to my house four times over the course of five weeks to fix my refrigerator. Each time finding a new problem. Their service window is an entire day. There are no updates. You can't talk to a live person. I was told there is no supervisor or manager to talk to.

The 3rd set of technicians Adair & Mike (trainee) were awesome - 5 🌟 They fixed my Kenmore washer, taught me regular maintenance. I would use them again, but not thru A&E Factory Svc /Sears App.Repair. A&E provides terrible service - make a NINE HOUR apptmt via AI speech recognition and no way to correct one's address or name spelling. The online links do not work to do this. No phone # yields a human, only infinite loops to nowhere. It's a wonder they all found my house. 1st tech diagnosed & ordered part. 2nd tech no good but did schedule a 4-hr window apptmt. 3rd try - got Adair & Mike!

The first appointment was rescheduled after waiting several hours for the tech to arrive because the tech didn't have his van with the appropriate equipment. A different tech showed up on the reschedule day, again without the appropriate equipment since his van was also in the shop. I paid $129 for him to tell me that he thought the problem was with the heating element - then gave me the wrong part number to order. The net is I'm out $129 and my oven still doesn't work.

A repair was performed on the dishwasher. After the technician left, I noticed that the door’s rubber flap (skirt) was hanging below the dishwasher door. I contacted the technician, who returned immediately and addressed the issue. However, a few days later I found a black plastic part on the floor beneath the dishwasher door, which appeared to be part of the door assembly. Upon inspecting the door, I discovered that the rubber flapper was missing.

The technician spoke english as a second language and was difficult to understand. I had to ask him to repeat himself over and over. He quickly established the dryer vent was clogged and did not fix the problem. He ask for payment and left. All in 12 minutes. I am elderly and newly handicapped and didn't appreciate having to hire someone else to fix the problem.
