This is a decent shop for electrical and lighting needs. Their prices are reasonable, but have a limited collection of decorative lighting. Worth a visit.

I have been going here for years for everything from light bulbs to electrical switches to fixtures. The staff is very knowledgeable. I am particularly fond of how they treat homeowners with the same attentiveness and care as the trades. Nice shop!

Amazing. My electrician had to reinstall our hundred years old chandelier and we needed a bunch of replacement parts as old ones have rusted heavily. I have been looking for those parts for two weeks at local stores and it looked like the only option was to buy those parts online, which was problematic as $10 of parts would require $30 in shipping fees and three weeks of wait. Luckily Newton Electrical Supply had them all, the sales clerk just stepped out to the warehouse and brought them over for me. And it did cost the whooping $4. On the way to the car I saw a lady coming in with an old lamp. Apparently, this is the place to get the hard to find parts.

We have never been disappointed at this wonderful store. They have everything you can imagine. Right now i am looking for some more lights to make my studio brighter. 4 of the 8' florescent lights have died. do you have any bulbs, or have they stopped making them. If so is there anything to replace them?

Went here today for the first time. Great selection and we got amazing help from Sam. We found a light we liked that was out of stock. Sam sold us the display model for a price so good I didn’t believe it at first! Great place and we’ll be back for sure!

Located in a corner near a residential area of Newton, I was referred to this place after I tried to find a specific bulb that wasn't carried at any other hardware store in the location. After being burnt out of looking, I wasn't expecting much.

Yet, this placed exceeded my expectations. I didn't know the type of bulb I was looking for except for the one I brought in, but the staff were able to identify and give me a new one nearly instantly. The prices were reasonable as well, and they even discarded the old bulbs I brought in.

Overall a wonderful experience and I will be going here whenever I need new bulbs in my house.
