General Contractor reviews in Newton, Massachusetts

Absolutely brilliant mind for design. Not only does Ohan know how to build, he knows how to create the space, draw it, and plan it before he and his team go to work. It is incredibly reassuring!

We hired Atlas to renovate our living room. Not only did Ohan listen to our ideas/concerns and provide his own suggestions, but he was very flexible when we wanted to use a couple of our contractors instead of his own. This allowed us to remain within our budget, but required additional project management and oversight from Ohan and his team, which he graciously provided. Along the way, existing structural issues were found, which were quickly discussed with us and resolved satisfactorily. Not only was our project on-time and within budget, but when we required support from Ohan after the project was completed he was always very responsive. I have and continue to recommend Ohan and his team to anyone, as they truly go above and beyond to accommodate their customers.

Where do I begin? I have worked with several builders in the last 5 years and Atlas Contracting is by far the highest quality builder. Ohan is so transparent and a pleasure to work with. He is always available and goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy. One of the biggest perks at Atlas is getting to work with a Professional Designer. She helps make all those hard choices, easy! I was a bit surprised that it was so easy. In such a major life event, I couldn’t recommend someone better!

They were professional and did a great job !

Excellent service. Communication was constant and our garage door came out perfect! Thanks again

I would HIGHLY recommend Total Construction. I recently had mold remediation done in my home. Kory was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He walked me through the whole process.

Home inspection was time sensitive and they managed to squeeze me in the day after I called. Pricing was more than fair and work was top notch.

Again, Kory went above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan. I will definitely use their services again.

Kory and the team are extremely professional, responsive, attentive to detail and very thorough with their work. Very happy with the outcome of the repairs in our house, we look forward to working with Total Contracting again in future projects.

Last winter Total Contracting saved my life. I had a pipe burst in my apartment on a 3 degree winter day in January. As water quickly began pouring out into my apartment, I called the fire department and quickly found Total Contracting online in my searches. Within moments, someone answered my call and a crew was sent my way at 9pm at night. These guys worked efficiently to get my living situation back to normal. They did a fantastic job and I recommend them to anyone facing similar issues.

When my sewer lateral broke and caused major damage to my basement, I needed a construction company that could handle the job thoroughly and professionally. Rick, Jake and the team at Total Contracting delivered on every front.

From day one, the entire team was organized, efficient, and incredibly easy to work with. Their transparency throughout the project gave me complete peace of mind, and their communication was top-notch—especially Jake, who was always available to answer questions, provide updates, and walk me through each phase of the reconstruction. I never felt out of the loop, and that level of attentiveness made all the difference.

The work itself was excellent. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and treated my home with care and respect. They didn’t just repair the damage—they transformed the basement into a space that’s even better than before. Every detail was handled with skill and pride.

I highly recommend Total Contracting to anyone looking for reliable, skilled contractors who value honesty, clear communication, and quality work. They turned a tough situation into a truly positive experience.
