Having construction done in your home, while you're still living there, can be one of the most frustrating experiences. DKIM makes it a lot easier. They keep a clean work space, so everyday when they leave, you're not walking through piles of dust and debris. We've used DKIM to complete a number of projects in our condo and are always happy with the result AND the process.

Douglas Kim is a very skilled carpenter and designer of closets and shelving. He did a beautiful job constructing bookshelves along two walls in our grand Victorian house and he also pointed us to an excellent painter to paint the woodwork he completed for us. I would hire him again in a minute. He also designed and built a large closet with French doors in a room adjacent our kitchen. He was diligent, skilled and hardworking, and a pleasant presence in our house while he was working. He also remodeled the railings on our main stairway, matching the old, 19th century rails, only making them taller so that the stairs are safer. He did a great job with that. We plan to do a few other projects--such as redoing the stairs going down to our basement--and I hope to get Douglas to do that project for us next spring!
