I used Marquis Tree Service time in as many years. All the work they performed was great, no slip ups or hidden costs. Their personnel worked safely and efficiently, and their crew chiefs were informative and polite. I don’t imagine I’ll be using any other tree service outfit.

They did exactly what they said plus a bunch more. Very responsive, polite and helpful and cleaned up after. Such nice guys, they even took my shovel away from me and shoveled my walk for me! Will definitely use them again.

Marquis Tree Service is wonderful, they have big equipments, to handle big trees that regular companies cannot reach easily. We had 4 big trees, only took them 2-3 hours, very quick and clean, their price actually is very competitive.

We had multiple service companies come out to look at our our project. And because of the complexity, distance to access the trees and share size four out of five companies walked away, or provided such a cost and destruction to the property it was cost prohibitive. Marquis Tree Service took down a humongous double trunk white pine at the far edge of our back yard. They used the giant crane and took great care to protect our yard and house. They were very easy to work with and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend them.

Marquis took down a large old oak tree for us. They have done work for us in the past, so we felt confident in reaching out again for more tree work. They were incredibly professional throughout the process. From booking the estimate, to scheduling, to the actual removal, everyone at Marquis was pleasant and attentive. Marquis did a fantastic job of trimming large oak and birch trees and removing withering pine trees. This opened up our yard to help our lawn get needed sunshine and protected our house from falling limbs. The landscape is visibly more open, boosting the vitality of the trimmed trees remaining. Alex wrote out explicit instructions for the crew - and the lead crew member, Dexter, stayed in close touch with us throughout the day on each element of the job. They cleaned up all the fallen twigs so our lawn and wooded areas are clear of debris. They arrived on time and left on time, true to the estimate. We couldn't be happier and appreciate the recommendation of our lawn service in Groton.

We have worked with Jay Webster and Marquis Tree Service for many years to evaluate, prune, and take down trees as necessary. Jay always gives us clear, unbiased advice and options. Most recently we had 3 trees removed, two of which were dead. The price was very reasonable, and the crew of Chris and Sean were friendly, personable, and efficient completing the entire job including cleanup in about two hours. Another great experience working with Marquis, and we recommend them highly.

Marquis Tree came out promptly,listened carefully to the scope of trimming we needed (trimming back from over the house, driveway and electric service line) and provided us an estimate on the spot.
We were able to schedule the work in a reasonable time, and Marquis updated us as the day approached.
The crew showed up promptly and worked carefully and skillfully to get the trimming done. Cleanup was excellent, and the crew went out of their way to protect shrubs and container plants.

I requested a quote a week ago Friday. Their email response was immediate and they booked an appointment for their estimator, Peter to come out the following Monday. Within thirty minutes after Peter left they sent the quote. I accepted the quote and they immediately booked our appointment for Friday of that same week. We were expecting them around 1PM but they actually showed up at 9:00AM. We were surprised but thrilled.

They were really great. They removed a tree in our yard, removed some overgrown limbs from a city planted tree in front of our house, and trimmed a zillion dead branches from our massive hemlock trees lining our property in our backyard. They had to do the backyard work by hand because we have narrow entrances to that part of our property so they couldn't use any big machinery. They completely cleaned up when they were finished and the job was completed so fast we just couldn't believe it.

I absolutely, positively, one hundred percent recommend Marquis Tree Service. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. We were thrilled at their level of service and their lightning fast response times.

Great company, great team, and great service! Jose, Henry, and Martin came on time and work very hard and efficiently. They are friendly and professional. They really did a great job! They were very careful when working on trees close to the electrical wire, well, and septic tank and respectful of my property. They cleaned up the branches and my yard. From the day John Marquis came and gave me an estimate until the job was done, everything went smoothly. John is very nice and patient. He explained the whole process to me well. Ashely from the office is also very efficient and helpful. I am very satisfied with Marquis Tree Service and will definitely recommend Marquis Tree Service to my friends!

We called Marquis tree service to remove some trees that grew too close to our property and going over top of the roof. Scott came to the property and gave us suggestions on which trees to remove with detailed explanation. He also helped us identify a dead pine tree which had to be removed. He gave us a good quote for the removal. The crew was showed great expertise and in spite of a rainy day the way they handled the huge crane and cut the huge trees was amazing. They took excellent care while handling the huge trees so that they did not cause any damage to our property. After they cut the trees they did an excellent job of cleaning up. I would like to give a 5 star rating to Marquis tree and highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree services
