I had a weedy, damp, buggy, gross backyard that could be put to no use. After contacting modern landscaping I couldn’t be happier with my new backyard. I have two dogs and I was afraid to go with real grass thinking it might not grow great and they would dig it up. It was nerve wracking to approach getting turf not knowing what it would look like, not to mention my family thought I was crazy. Jay led me through the entire process and always answered my questions quickly. They put in a patio which came out exactly how I imagined it. They also leveled an area that I didn’t even ask them to, which makes for a perfect spot to place a shed, which Jay knew I was planning. The yard is great for my dogs, no maintenance, and everyone says it looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. The turf was expensive but well worth the money. After 3 years of living in my home I finally have a perfect backyard! Thanks Jay!

We hired Modern Landscaping to build a back patio, front walkway, remodeled front steps, designed landscape in the front yard, and added a third irrigation zone.

Jay and his team have been the best contractor I have dealt with to date at our new home. We are working with Jay on a large scope of work from a new paver driveway, pool surround, decking and general landscaping, and the service, work product and responsiveness from him and his entire team has been nothing but top notch. We have been particularly impressed with Jay's willingness to sit down and go over numbers and design ideas for our entire project to make sure it fits within our budget. We had Modern Landscaping redo our existing deck and install a new stone patio. From the initial consult, Jay was great and extremely fast with email responses. Jay helped us envision what we wanted and provided computer imaging of the future look. (Which looks exactly as the final product). Once the work started, the crew was really friendly and respectful of the property while completing the work in under 2 weeks.
