Constraction reviews in North Reading, Massachusetts

We hired CJM to completely reconfigure the current layout of our home and build an addition. Throughout the whole process the communication was amazing, the people were reliable, and everything ran smoothly. Their construction manager, Mike, felt like a family friend that we could trust every step of the way. If there were any hiccups, day or night, he would come to the house to handle them with a smile on his face. The project manager, Cait, acted as a personal interior designer who planned our entire kitchen and helped with paint color and tile choices throughout the house. She was extremely observant and would catch things that we as the homeowners didn’t even notice. She was also incredible at coming up with creative solutions to awkward addition problems.

The whole CJM team was great to work with and I would highly recommend! We are so happy with our new home!

Can't wait to work with them again...They helped us with multiple home projects and we're now enjoying our transformed home. Cait and Mike were great and always willing to help when they could. Also patient with undecision on our end and additional add ons.
Can't recommend them enough

We used CJM for a large renovation at our house. They just finished and we couldn’t be happier. They handled everything, coordinated schedules, and made sure everything was done right down to the last detail.

Their team is friendly and professional and their work quality is incredible. Highly recommend and would happily use them again in the future.

We recently completed a renovation project with CJM Builders, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Our project included a full remodel of the bathroom, kitchen, and dining room, as well as the addition of an office/sunroom. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic.

Our project managers, Mike and Cait, were exceptional. Their communication was outstanding, and the use of the Buildertrend app allowed us to stay in constant contact, view updates, approve changes and keep track of schedules.

The CJM team stuck to their timelines, embraced our custom ideas and changes, and finished the six-month job right on schedule. The subcontractors they brought in were skilled and professional, delivering high-quality work throughout.

I highly recommend CJM Builders for any renovation or building project, and we’ll definitely consider them for future projects.

CJM was a great contractor to work with, from start to finish! From discussing the vision of the project and getting an estimate to getting the project underway and permitted, to construction, and follow through, everything was easy and well communicated. Once we got through permitting with the town, construction was remarkably quick- no issues with long breaks or delays in the work here! When we wanted to make a couple of changes mid-project the process was smooth and CJM was able to accommodate in line, without disrupting the schedule. I really appreciate that CJM assigns a project manager to each project, meaning all communication was with one person who knew all the details of the project. Overall great people who did great work, with great communication!

We hired CJM Builders for an addition and extensive renovations throughout our home, and the team was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish! Their guidance and support were incredible, making the entire process stress-free. The attention to detail was unmatched, and the workmanship top-notch! We couldn’t have asked for a better general contractor to work with on our home!

CJM recently completed a project for us that consisted of remodeling a bathroom/laundry room and adding a small addition to the house. Cait and Mike both did a fantastic job managing our project. Cait is very detail oriented and kept the project on track and kept us updated along the way. She guided us through the project from beginning to end. The builders app they use to manage the project is very helpful. Mike is a great contractor who came up with some key design ideas and helped us navigate through a couple of remodeling challenges. The finishing work by the team was really impressive. I chose CJM because of the work they had done at a friend’s house and I was equally impressed with the work they did on our project.

Cait and Mike are both great to work with. We made the right decision in choosing CJM and we would use them again on future projects.

CJM did a complete new exterior for my house: doors, windows, siding, a roof, and a deck. The project went better and faster than I expected. They were great to work with. Great communication. The quality exceeded my expectations.

We couldn't be happier with the work CJM did to turn our attic into a home away from home. We were referred by friends, and we were not disappointed. The entire team, including the subs, were amiable, quick, clean, and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better GC than CJM. We'll absolutely refer them to others looking for builds or finishing and will most likely use them again when we refresh a bathroom or two. :-) Thanks again for the help!

McCormack Construction Inc. is a great company to deal with. They were fast to schedule and gave a great price!

They are very meticulous at their work. I had my roof replaced years ago by another company and they replaced the flashing on the chimney incorrectly which resulted in a leak through the ceiling and wall.
McCormack Construction came in and had to tear down the wall and ceiling which was all plaster whereas I have an old house. They cleaned up the mold (yes you saw that word) that had grown due to the leak, replaced the flashing on the chimney the correct way, rebuilt the wall and ceiling, primed and painted and even installed ceiling fans. I am very impressed with their work and I would highly recommend them.
