I am so happy that a friend referred me to this company. Our liner had disintegrated and masonry had fallen through. It was a difficult and frustrating job. First the raccoon who'd settled in, was coaxed to vacate. Then there was the arduous job of removing and replacing the liner, which was stuck, and sealing and capping the chimney. techs were fabulous! They worked cheerfully and did a perfect job.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Cape Cod Smokestack Solutions, I've never had a wood-burning fireplace before, so I wanted to be sure the one in the condo I just bought was clean and safe. I hired them and after an inspection of the chimney, they told me it wasn't dirty, so it didn't need sweeping. They performed the inspection and reduced the fee that was quoted to only include the trip and safety inspection. They also gave me some tips on what wood not to use and how to care for the fireplace between sweepings, which should be done annually if you use the fireplace a lot.

The damper in our chimney had fallen out of place. Although it is a 'small' repair, I wasn't able to fix it myself. I called Cape Cod and the next day Tech was at my house to put the damper back in place. It only took a few minutes but I really appreciated the help and the quick response. We are happy to be able to use our fireplace again
