Joe and his team did a fantastic job installing a home generator power outlet on my home's exterior and repairing several faulty exterior and interior outlets. Profession, courteous, detailed and high-quality work is what you can expect from Lydon Electric.

I had completely lost faith in all contractors and was dreading having to call an electrician to figure out why a circut breaker kept tripping. I crossed my fingers and started dialing numbers. I was lucky enough to get through to Joe from Lydon Electric. From beginning to end, the experience I had in dealing with Joe was unbelievably pleasant and professional. He said he had some time between calls and could swing by within the hour. He was very thorough in troubleshooting the issue and found the problem. He made the repairs needed and presented me with the most reasonable invoice imaginable. I can't say my faith is restored in all contractors, I can say that Joe and his company, Lydon Electric are old school professionals and I would highly recommend them.

I first heard about Lydon Electric from a recommendation on the Beverly, MA Facebook page. I called them up and was lucky enough to catch them right as they were finishing up another job in the area. Joe and team came out that same day to install an outlet for me. They were super friendly and professional. Joe worked with what I was looking for and helped me figure out the best way to do it. Very nice and honest guy with a ton of knowledge. He even helped me figure out how to use a baseboard heating unit that wasn’t working. I would highly recommend him and plan on using his company again in the future. Thanks Joe!

This company and its staff are incredible. This is THE company to use for knob and tube replacement or any electrical needs. They are professional, kind and very affordable. This might be the only company on the north shore that is honest, fair and doesn’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need. Joe, Pete, Rob and Eric are trustworthy and just all around great guys. I will never use a different electrician as long as I live here. Stay away from these large companies who perform multiple services because all they do is a sales call and then give you an astronomical estimate. As far as value is concerned Joe won’t rake you over the coals and will even give an estimate that’s already reasonable; then do all the work and charge you less than quoted. I can’t recommend Lydon Electric enough. And…they are friendly to pets where some other companies are the opposite.

I hired Lyndon electric after doing extensive research on electricians . After meeting Joe I knew his company was the one for me. Extremely professional , knowledgeable and so incredibly kind. Joe the owner and his crew, Frank, Rob and Joe showed up when they said they would, they were super clean and professional, they did the job above and beyond what I ever expected. The job was finished quickly. I had NO troubles or complaints with them whatsoever. I would 100% refer them to anybody who ever asked me. It’s really hard finding trustworthy people that will do the job when they say they will and do it correctly without ripping you off. You will find that with Joe Lyndon. Thanks again Joe.

Joe did a phenomenal job coming out to my parents house and fixing a breaker. He was very thorough and professional. He listened to my concerns, answered all questions, and provided expert advice...even going above and beyond in trying to source a part that we needed for one of our projects. Called Joe as I was looking for an electrician for a stove circuit breaker keep tripping when both oven and stove on. He was able to figure it out and able to get the repair done.

I came across Joe while working at my last employer. Had him come out to fix wiring due to electrical shortage caused by a lightning strike. Did an excellent job. Recently, we had one of his guys come out to install a wired smoke detector in another room so that it would qualify as a 3rd bedroom. He came right out and installed it extremely fast. Good guys, excellent electricians. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially when compared to the big guys. Highly recommend.

The owner Joe is a exceptional guy! He came to my mother in laws home in Peabody, to fix and complete the poor work of a previous electrician I had to fire. Not only did Lydon Electrical come out to the job site the next day, Joe’s crew dug there heels right in and got all the work done fast, correct and didn’t break the bank. They installed a new 200 amp panel, moved and installed a new electric meter, wired the entire second floor addition, including sensor lights in the closets, recessed lights throughout the whole house. I cannot begin to describe these guys, Joe, Frank, Rob & Joe were a unbelievably group of guys that don’t mess around. They saved me and my mother in law from a total disaster. I wanted to write a review, because Lydon Electric of Peabody, is the real deal. If your looking for a honest, hardworking, trustworthy Electrician, don’t even hesitate to call Joe Lydon from Lydon Electrical!! Thank you & your crew so much Joe.
