I had an excellent experience with Ridge Electrical! Jake installed recessed lighting and a ceiling fan in my basement, and the transformation is incredible.. it completely gave the space a new look. The work was done in a timely manner, and Jake was a true professional throughout the entire process. Anthony was also a pleasure to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will absolutely be using Ridge Electrical for all my future electrical needs. Highly recommend!

John is a great guy, easy to work with. Was attentive to the details like if he should wear shoes in the house etc. and was transparent about what he's doing. We got a Tesla charger installed and it works great!

Great experience! After a week of wasting time calling national grid and mass save Ridge Electrical Service were the only ones to offer concrete suggestions we could follow to reduce our insane heating bill. Ridge Electrical Service was great to work with! My experience was top notch from the start. On my initial call, I appreciated that Jake took the time to walk through my situation and help triage the problem ahead of time, which no other company I called did. We then scheduled an appointment by text. On appointment day, Jake and Anthony arrived early and were able to quickly diagnose and fix multiple issues. The pricing was reasonable as well. I will definitely work with them again should the need arise in the future!

Jake and Ridge Electrical Service have been helping us update our electrical system throughout our home since we moved to Quincy. They have provided reliable, quality work for our bathroom remodel (brought wiring up to code and installed the overhead light fan), completely rewired a room of our basement that we finished (including new dimmable recessed lights), and they always helps us out whenever we have questions or concerns, even if we have something as simple as a shorted fuse for the garage. I recommend this company to everyone in the South Shore area and know they have saved a friend thousands of dollars from competitors quoting unnecessary work. High quality work without overcharging from electricians you can trust. They always communicate well and find a way to help us despite a busy schedule. Ridge Electrical will always be my first call for any electrical work, and I refer them to everyone who needs help.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. We specifically contacted Crocker to come out and look at a house we were in the process of buying to determine if it had any knob and tube wiring. The seller was going to provide a credit for any electrical work that might need to be done as a result of knob and tube.

The electrician from Crocker came out and spent about 20 minutes in the house testing to see if the outlets were grounded, then announced there couldn't be any knob and tube in the house because the outlets were grounded, and that wouldn't be the case if knob and tube were present. They never opened up any outlets or lighting fixtures to actually check the wires. In fact, the electrician told us "You don't need to. You can't tell that way."

We bought the house, and immediately once we started having some work done it became obvious there was knob and tube wiring present. We called in another electrician who found knob and tube throughout the entire house. We are now paying many thousands of dollars to rewire our house, an expense we could have completely avoided by not buying this house, or at the least offset with a credit from the homeowner if Crocker had actually done their job. We've had at least three electricians in the house to look at it, and all said you could immediately tell there was knob and tube, and shook their head at how anyone could go through in 20 minutes and pronounce the house knob and tube free. I will never be calling or recommending Crocker Electrical again. Borderline unethical scammers.
