If i could rate no stars i would. My mother had an appt for 7:30am they showed 10 mins early. Living upstairs She rang my bell so i could move my car from the driveway. There are apartments everywhere and there was a car parked on the st. My mom cant control who parks where. She tells me she right away went to a neighbors house to see if they could move the car the man says to my mom how long is this going to take and he just left. Didnt even give her 5 mins. I took no more than 2 to 3 mins to throw on sweats to go down to move my car and he was already gone. It wasnt even 730 yet and all cars were moved if he had just waited the 5 mins. My mom was crying. She called and spoke to a lady & she was extremely rude and tells her well there were cars in the way & he left so she is going to have to find another tree service company to do the job. Never seen or heard such ignorance. They are in the wrong business if thats how they treat their customers.

If I completed a review 3 or 4 years ago, I would have given them a 5!

Recently, I have had 3 failed attempts trying to get someone to come out for another estimate. I completed 2 online free estimate submissions without anyone contacting me. I then called for an appointment, which was scheduled over the phone. The scheduled day came and they were a no show. I left a message to see if they were coming and never received a call back. They have pleanty of time sending Christmas cards out to customers but can't seem to provide entry level customer service.

Terrible experience.
I asked the receptionist if it were possible for them to take over my residential plowing. The owner/guy showed up at my house at 330am to plow, which I didn't need or ask for. I asked if they would be willing to take the contract over.
He proceeded to bark and yell at me in the middle of the street about how busy he was and asked if I was "a joke". He then walked back into his truck to leave. I walked into mjy house stunned.
I called the receptionist the next day, and she was as cold and rude as he was.

Anyone who choses to use this company - beware of terrible disrespectful behavior. and after reading a previous review, it appears their behavior is consistant.

The owner is extremely rude, arrogant, and not smart at all. He doesn't listen to you or any suggestions you may have. Forget about asking any questions, he is to busy being a bolstering, loud mouth, indignent person outside of your house, in your neighborhood as if you don't have any common sense or decent to know any better. I would never recommend his services to anybody, just for the pure fact he has no common decency when on a consultation. Al needs to learn how to respect others when he is involved in an adult conversation and working with the public. If he is unhappy with interacting with other human beings, maybe working with the public "fee for services rendered" is not for him. Time to change professions or leave the work for the professionals.

Horrible experience and I didn't even get the service done! They came for an estimate after a storm for a tree that had partially fallen on the neighbor's lawn and the rest of the tree was still standing, but unstable and extremely large. Per the owner, after being asked for a price, "I don't know" and "We came an did estimates here before and you hired someone else, so why didn't you call them back?" . Ummmm, salty much? You obviously didnt give me a good estimate the last time you came if I didn't choose to hire you. Extremely rude, condescending and arrogant. I would never put money in this person's pocket. You're right, I think I will go with someone else. :) Thanks for wasting my time.

The owner was so rude and arrogant. He did not listen to my suggestions or requests. The job did not complete 100% as he told to his crews stop doing that because he was so busy and had to go to another job. I love his workers, they were so nice, friendly and hard working. With me, he is a cheater. I would never recommend this service to anyone.

I just rated this idiot one star, but I feel as if there should be a minus 10 stars. This guy Al is so rude, and very lazy. His workers are pleasant and very hard workers. Al on the other hand sits on his ass and barks out orders all day. I think it is funny that his "good" reviews on here are from his secretary (by the way, you can tell Al trained her, because she is just as rude as he is) and other family members. He refuses to listen to the homeowners and he is so disrespectful!! I would NEVER recommend this company to amyone! Beware Homeowners! Do Not Waste Your Time or Your Energy With This Moron!!

A+! Despite uncomfortable weather our three old huge trees have being removed today in no time. The workers are professionals. Their machinery park is diverse. They left my back yard very clean. The owner is nice, polite, and knowledgeable. In addition the price was very equitable. I have never been so pleased with home services like today. Thank you, Al!

After giving this guy a ton of business since using him at my Brockton home for a very reasonable price I have to tell it like it is.

I made the mistake of referring his company to friends and family alike after a good first transaction however, the second time I used his company he not only didn’t finish the job, but left me high and dry for a fence installer as well. He will tell you he’s done fencing “almost just as long” as his tree work, But the second he has another job lined up you’re out of luck.

More likely than not he will do enough of the job that he’ll attempt to settle up and when you think it’s just clean up work you’ll realize it’s more. I’m very thankful I didn’t pay him upfront for the fence since I ended up having to do that myself.

From the first phone call, to the proposal, to the work getting done, Al & company were a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, fast, and the tree service was outstanding. I asked them to pull down two additional trees when they got here, and without even a hesitation they started on them. They did everything I had hoped for and more. They weren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and they are well worth the money and much more. Thanks, Al!

If I could give zero stars I would. The most unprofessional & rude Company I’ve ever dealt with. I called the company to give me an estimate on some work. I showed them the work and let them know they were the last company Im having in for a quote (previous quotes ranged all over the place). Before we even discuss a price, Big Al gets upset and says I’m wasting his time and his company usually is the first option people go with, gets in his truck and drives off. Don’t know if they do good work or not but based off the level of disrespect I would NEVER throw them any business.

Very professional yet casual and friendly. Great communication on day and time. Good fair pricing. The team was very safety oriented and respectful. They worked together seamlessly. I highly reccomend Al's tree service. This is my second time using them. Grade A. Thank you.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews so need to chime in here. Older job but I still clearly remember that Al's did a great job for me at an extremely fair price.

I had a half dozen 40+ foot trees along my property line that had to go due to deterioration caused by improper property line trimming. Al took the time to explain to me the entire job and why I couldn't save any of them. It killed me to have it done as these trees defined the property. Their natural beauty I enjoyed for many years but it ultimately came at a price as large limbs had dropped multiple times.

Al and his entire staff were a pleasure to deal with. I still miss my trees but no longer worry about safety on windy days of which it seems are more often than not.

Didn't have any of our tress taken down. But, our neighbor did. Some shavings from tree ended up in our yard, and on car. Once they were done they came right over and blew off what was on my car and driveway! One of the guys that works for company was very polite and professional! I will keep them in mind if we ever need any tree service done!

Al's Tree Service was one of 3 we got quotes from. They came in very fair and reasonable but more than that, they showed up on time, did an amazing job and cleaned up the place like nobody's business! Would definitely recommend.

Linda and Al were very helpful with getting our tree work scheduled. They came out within days to give an estimate and made time for us within a week and a half to get the job done. The price was more than fair and when the day came for the tree work to be done. Al and his crew were very professional and neat with their clean up! I would highly recommend them!

I had a large dead tree next to my house and septic tank. Al gave me a reasonable price and had the tree down safely in a couple hours. Very simple and straightforward process.

I was very pleased with Al’s services years ago, they cut down a monster tree in my back yard and sliced it up for burning and grinned the stump too! So now my new neighbors next door were looking and found a pricy company, but i told them Al’s tree service is the best and there here now working hard on Wellesley circle in East Taunton . Glad my neighbor took my advice . Happy Holidays .

I’ve purchased firewood from them before and had a great experience, so I’m really disappointed with this order. We bought wood for our fireplace (we don’t have a firebox), and unfortunately the wood we received was wet and definitely not seasoned. It’s been a whole process just trying to get it to burn, which is not what you hope for in the middle of winter.

I do want to say that Linda was absolutely lovely to work with—very kind and helpful. But overall, this time around just wasn’t a good experience compared to the past. I’m hoping this was just an off batch, because I’ve had much better luck with them before.

I actually did call, and I texted in regards to wood. The response was unsatisfactory.
I was never told it was wet wood. I have an open fire, linda was aware of that. I have zero desire to purchase unseasoned water logged wood. It doesn't burn well in an open fire.

Excellent service!!! Called, came, estimated and came back and did the work! Cleaned areas and left me with a job well done and NO BACKACHE! Highly recommend them! Thanks!
