Outstanding technician.
He went above and beyond the expected effort in time to solve my problem.
He even had to snow shovel a short path to reach my condenser.

Dave was great he was super thorouhh and went out of his way to help us fix several things we couldn't figure out very knowledgeable. I own a chimney bussiness my self so know how hard it is to come by great techs like dave !

Highly recommend! I chose Cooling Unlimited to do a heat pump installation and their service was exceptional throughout the proposal and installation process. Patrick worked with me to choose the right size system for my apartment and was very knowledgeable about Mass Save requirements, etc. I took advantage of the City of Cambridge’s free quote comparison service and they judged Cooling Unlimited’s proposal much more favorably than a competitor’s. Scheduling was easy and the work was completed in the estimated time frame, with a professional crew that took care to keep things tidy during install as well as clean up afterwards.

They were able come first thing in the morning and get our gas boiler fixed after it went out overnight. Dave did great work replacing the broken gas valve quickly

GREAT SERVICE!! Clogged air filters and helped us diagnosed in no time. Mary at the call center was sooooo nice! Ask her anything and she’s so understanding.

Juan-Carlos and Luis did a great job installing an ERV in our attic, which was a bit of a tight fit and required ladder work four stories high.

They communicated clearly and were very courteous and professional.

The ERV has been humming along for a week and does its job, so that's all good.

In preparation for the installation, my interactions with the office staff were easy and professional. They called when they were ready to schedule, and all appointments were kept.

We had Cooling Unlimited install heat pump mini-splits in seven different rooms, and were delighted with the process. The whole team was communicative, competent, and professional. Special shout-out to Carlo and Luis who were absolute rock stars through every step of the installation, making sure we understood everything they were doing.

Very quick and professional service, with detailed quotes (that were meaningfully below other quotes that we got). They will definitely be our first call for HVAC issues going forward.

Choosing to install hvac to our newly purchased 1880’s colonial home was a big and costly decision. We had 5 different companies in to give estimates. From the minute Jason walked in, he exuded the confidence and direction that made us feel like we were in very good hands. The installation grew were a pleasure to have in our home. They took great care to clean as they went, protect furniture, newly redone floors and painted walls/trim. We went with high velocity and are so thrilled with the results. Would recommend hands down to anyone!

The technician (Julius) was courteous, intelligent and professional. He showed up on time and with great patience. The issue was resolved timely. The fee is reasonable. I'd recommend.

I am delighted with the service I received from Cooling Unlimited. They arrived when they said they would, gave a fair and reasonable quote for their work, and got my mini splits back up and running. Brad was fantastic. I definitely would recommend Cooling Unlimited.

I can’t say enough good things about the service.
We had a CO leak and HVaC emergency the fire department had to come out. We called the company that installed and they said two days (without heat of course too)
Then we found Cooling Unlimited. And so happy we did. They were at your house in less than two hours and repairs done immediately.
Pricing and cost was much less than I expected for an emergency visit. I couldn’t be happier.

Amazing team, very professional and quality work. Finished every thing on time, efficiently, clean after them, and most importantly they took their time to fix other issues they run into as they install my new hear pump system. It was a pleasure working with them and believe me they’re good. I’d recommend them to anyone again and again.
Even my 7 years old was impressed by their work and left them a thank you note.

heat pump failed, and of course a day before the coldest day of the season. Called and promptly had a technician scheduled for the next 2 hours window. David were Really helpful and knowledgeable tech. Loved the serviced and definitely will recommend.

We woke up to a very cold house and our gas heat not working. This was during a very cold stretch, so we needed to use their emergency service. Despite this, the price was very reasonable ($264). Dave is very knowledgable, professional, and efficient. He answered all of my questions and was even great with my puppy!

Where to start? For the past five years I have dreamed of updating our home and getting rid of those awful window units. I knew we wanted to take advantage of the mass save rebates as well as the financing while we still could. Cooling Unlimited was fantastic from the initial quote to installation, they couldn’t have been more professional. Sean and Izzy my installers were at my home for four full days in 90 plus degree heat installing our five heads and condenser. They were polite, kind and always on time. We ran into a small issue after the install and Cooling Unlimited was on it. The install manager came to help troubleshoot and fixed the issue (crossed lines) in 30 minutes. We have been living the air conditioning dream ever since! All their staff is fantastic from the admin to the installers and technicians . 10/10 recommend!

Four stars are for the work done in a professional manner. 2 stars for the long wait for the service. I signed up as a “priority account” but still had to wait 6 DAYS for a tech to come. I understand the crush of business when the temps are so hot but some consideration should be given to priority customers. Otherwise why bother. Let’s hope for mild temps!!!

Having recently had my long-standing A/C service person go missing in action, I did research on Angi and found Cooling Unlimited. They were the first to offer a scheduled appointment within just a few days. The service person was very affable, professional, and clearly managed expectations throughout his visit. He also provided me with a lot of information (including Cooling Unlimited's service plan details) when prompted. So far things look like they're working properly although the true test will come when we have our next 90ºF+ heat with humidity.

My only issue had to do with having an 11:00AM-4:00PM window which meant staying home virtually all day. When I hadn't heard anything by 2:15PM I phoned and received a call back telling me my service person was finishing up and I would be the next call. Well, he arrived just after 4:00PM. I understand scheduling is very difficult to accomplish but having some idea as to where my appointment falls would be helpful. For example, if I'd known I was the last scheduled appointment of the day, I might have done things differently. Not a deal breaker going forward as I am still thrilled to have been able to get someone out in a matter of days but food for thought.

They are very professional , trustworthy, clean. Definitely recommend them.
One thing though: if you happen to live downtown, go for the earliest possible appointment or some driver/technician might be giving up finding a parking spot after a couple of searches around the block - very frustrating
