We had the opportunity of working with Live Earth for landscaping of our new build. They helped us with the design, installation and maintenance of our landscaping. From the start, they were very knowledgeable about every aspect including different design options and what was going to work for our specific yard. Since our development is still very much in the building stage, there were a few things that needed tweaking after installation, which Live Earth evaluated and handled in a timely manner. Our walkways and patio are perfect and really give an elevated appearance to our outdoor space. We plan to add more design to our yard for years to come and will definitely be working with Dave, Matt and Live Earth team every step of the way.

My husband and I hired Live Earth with the hopes they would deliver an exceptional experience with amazing hardscape & landscaping and they did not disappoint! We built our retirement home in Rehoboth and although we have a beautiful corner lot, the property has been challenging at best, being a repository for water streaming downhill every time it rains. The service that Dave Czech has given us is nothing short of 5-STAR! The passion and pride he has comes across in every conversation and evident in the delivery of his final work.

We are elated with the service and products received and would recommend Live Earth to anyone looking for quality work and personalized service!

Overpriced and Poor Quality
We hired David and Live Earth Landscaping, and it was a costly mistake. They held onto a $100,000 deposit for over two years with little progress and refused to refund it.
The workmanship was subpar—rocks left in the soil, exposed wires and water lines, and a lawn that never rooted properly. Many plants died, even under warranty, and despite repeated requests, they never came back to fix the issues.
I had to finish much of the work myself. For the price, the quality and service were unacceptable. Would not recommend.

Dave, Matt, and the Live Earth team have been incredible to work with. We’ve used Live Earth for all landscaping and maintenance on our new home build. They’ve done sod, seeding, plantings, irrigation, hardscape, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, maintenance, and more for us. The attention to detail has been fantastic as we’ve gone from a dirt lot to a finished product.

Dave has gone above and beyond to take care of us when there have been issues in the new home / new development process. Matt is always a text or phone call away and is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a landscape project or new build.

Extremely Disappointed — Poor Quality and Overpriced

We hired David and Live Earth Landscaping and deeply regret the decision. The project was overpriced, the workmanship was poor, and we were met with lots of promises that turned into constant excuses once issues started showing up.

They were quick to collect payment, but much less responsive when it came time to fix their mistakes. He held $100K deposit for over two years due to construction delays. He would not refund the deposits. Keep in mind this was only the deposit. Our yard was left with rocks scattered all over the topsoil, which is dangerous with small children playing outside. Even worse, there were exposed lighting wires and water lines—a clear safety concern that should never happen on a finished job.

The grass never grew in properly, and many of the plants and flowers died, even though they were supposed to be under warranty. Despite repeated attempts to get them back to address the problems, we've seen little to no follow-through.

At the end I addressed most issues myself. I asked him to please address the dead plants and bent gutter drain they installed, still nothing.

I will upload photos later today. If you're looking for quality, accountability, or safety, I would not recommend this company.

We’ve worked with Dave at Live Earth on multiple projects, and he always delivers outstanding work. Our backyard looks beautiful, and everything he does is thoughtful, high-quality, and exactly what we envision. Dave is not only talented but genuinely a great person, and his team members are wonderful — friendly, personable, and always kind. We truly enjoy working with all of them. From start to finish on our backyard and now with new projects coming up, the experience has been fantastic. Highly recommend!

This company is amazing. We came in Sat to request a small delivery on Memorial Day weekend and they accepted AND delivered a few hours later! They were nice and professional! Something big chains don’t offer! Reassured me shopping local is best! We will be using them every year from now on! And this time give them more notice of delivery!

Said they would come by on a Saturday to view my project... no show. I called and left a message with no reply, he just showed up one morning to look at my yard. Though very knowledgable and promising, I never heard back. Said I would get a quote and work to start within a couple weeks. Radio silence! I called and left several messages with no reply. Unfortunate for me because by the time I realized that my business wasn't good enough, it was too late to find another landscaper. Too bad, though my project wasn't small, it would've been the start of more jobs to come.

Very clean and prestigious work, highly recommend to anyone that wants their yard to look the best in the neighborhood. Good honest people to work with! 5/5

They start landscaping at 7am with no respect for neighbors. They will seriously have 4 leaf blowers going at the same time and the noise is beyond obnoxious. When crew was told they were bothered by the noise they told me its just when they start.

Ignorant to neighbors around. 7am 5 blowers going. Waking not only my building but the newborn next door. I’ve talked to employees and another neighbor called. Yet still come early when the job they are doing is commercial and has no need to be done so early.

We are very pleased with our new patio, walkway and driveways. Great company to work with, attention to detail. They created a beautiful design and went above and beyond our expectations

Leitao Landscaping did such a beautiful job and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Marty could not have been more professional and kind and put such thought into the landscaping design that would best suit our home. Marty truly went above and beyond our expectations and we could not be happier with the result. We are so thankful for his expertise and a job well done!

I hired this company to do a paver patio in my backyard. Marty is a pleasure to work with and an expert on hardscaping. He was always willing to talk through the details and meet your needs. I was unsure of how to make the best of my outdoor space and Marty was happy to spend some time talking through options and giving his expert opinion. Once we had a plan in place his team got to work and did a fantastic job. They built the patio flush against my deck/staircase/bulkhead. They did a built in fire pit and a beautiful stone bench curved around it. Also a clean boarder around the entire patio.

They were also willing to deliver additional landscape materials like loose pebble at very reasonable rate. I have absolutely no regrets and the patio seems very sturdy like it will last forever. If you want to see their work just take a look at their Facebook or Instagram.

We have a new construction home and hired Leitao Landscaping to design and install our landscape. Our experience working with Marty Leitao and his team was wonderful. You will not find a more polite and caring person than Marty. His passion and knowledge for landscape is by far second to none! He listened to all of our ideas, likes and dislikes, and then created a beautiful landscape that we absolutely love. He responded immediately to every phone call and question then delivered our awesome landscape in a timely fashion. Marty works dilligently by walking with you through the nursery and hand picking every flower/shrub that you want and he uses his expertise so that you get your perfect landscape. He was patient and understanding as it took us a few visits with him to the nursery to get exactly what we wanted. Marty and his team are perfectionists! They don't quit until the job looks just right. The price was totally reasonable and I always knew what my budget and cost for the project would be, there were no hidden fees or ambiguous figures. I would highly recommend Marty and Leitao Landscape...what an awesome experience!!

We recently put in an in-ground pool and needed a full hardscape and landscape install (pool patio, water feature wall (with waterfall and water bowls), retaining wall, fencing, hydro seed, etc). My husband and I were very impressed with Marty and his teams (Emerson, Arsenio and Matthew) punctuality and professionalism. They were very knowledgeable, responsive and were a pleasure to work with. Marty offered wonderful insight, great ideas, and provided progress updates each step of the way. The team was hard working, extremely conscientious, and took great pride in their work. My neighbors are in awe of our incredible new space, just as we are. We cannot credit A.P Leitao & Son’s Landscaping enough for their amazing expertise and thoughtful follow through. A great project well done! To truly say that they are the best landscape company around in New England, would be an understatement! Their talent speaks volumes in their high outstanding quality design and workmanship. We couldn’t be happier with the way everything came out, the final product is absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend A.P. Leitao & Son’s landscaping to anyone looking for any type of hardscape and landscaping project from big to small. From patios to outdoor lighting to lawn seeding to irrigation to fencing, they do it all and are top notch in their field! Their excellent attention to detail transformed my backyard into a gorgeous oasis and we cannot wait to continue to use these amazing men over and over again for all our needs and wants. I can't say enough good about Marty and his team. First and most important, the end product is AWESOME! Second, the process to get there was really good (if you've ever done a construction project before you know that is rare).
Here's a few details:
1. They were flexible (i.e. they let me put in the pergola to decrease costs)
2. They were on time - gave me a timeline and stuck to it
3. They were professional - good to our kids, took care of our yard like it was their own, cleaned up every day, etc...
4. They went above and beyond. We had a small grade issue - came right away to fix it. We needed extra loom, no problem. He pitched in hydro seed (even though he didn't have to), no problem.

Any project costs. This one was worth every penny. Thanks Marty and team - check out the before and after!
