Eric is the most professional person I've ever hired, and the best communicator. My entire drain stack in a 1900s 3-family needed to be gutted and plumbed from scratch. Eric planned out the work needed to be done, and did it to code without mistakes. He has great relationships with local plumbing inspectors, and everyone I know enjoys working with him. He has extensive experience with everything related to plumbing and renovating houses: furnaces / boilers, steam heat, vents, drains, laundry hookups, radiators, toilet / sinks / fixtures, tubs and etc. He knows the plumbing code better than anyone. He is a complete professional and good at what he does. I'm always excited to work with Eric!

Eric is a Great Plumber with a Great Professional Attitude. He answered our call, came when he stated he would. Sent the quote in a timely manner. I discover that my toilet was leaking on the afternoon of Jan.9th. I reached out to friends and family for a recommendation. My daughter hired Eric when she had a burst pipe and he came immediately and fixed it. She recommended him highly. I called him later that day and he came out the next morning. He was on time, and text when he was on his way. He identified the issue and explained everything he would have to do to fix it. He went out of his way to answer any question I had and to show me what he was doing and why. I was impressed by his thoroughness. He was professional and polite. I will consider him my plumber for any future needs. I would highly recommend Eric Duhaime to anyone!

Eric is awesome. We were in a pinch - No hot water and hosting family at the end of the week. He gave us a fair shake on replacing a part of our Navian tankless unit with a quick turnaround. It helped that he is Navian-certified. So his familiarity with our issue made for fast work. He even went out of his way to head to Woburn to pick up a piece he didn’t have stocked in his truck. He also was in constant communication via text and phone.

If you’re on the North Shore, this is your guy.

Eric replaced our hot water heater. The previous one was over due and the pipes leading in and out both needed attention. He was quick, work was great, and he was very professional. Copper pipes got the work they needed, drain got cleaned up, and we are enjoying our hot water. Trustworthy plumber giving you the quality work. Highly recommend.

Our kitchen drain pipe sprung a leak and slightly flooded our kitchen. Eric came over quickly and was able to remove the old broken cast iron and copper pipes and replace with PVC the same day. In the process of replacing the pipe, we discovered that the garbage disposal was also falling apart, so he replaced that as well.

I don’t even know where to begin when expressing my appreciation for Eric and his expertise. He did all the plumbing on our two bathroom renovation and helped us achieve what we thought to be the impossible… (i like impossibly beautiful antique furnishing that go against Massachusetts code- but he installed a special valve making it all compliant and my beautiful bathroom dreams come true!
But also- he identified some issues with pipes in our basement and gave us realistic time frames of when they need to be replaced. THIS is the kind of thing that I appreciate.

Updating my review after having done a few more projects with Eric at Monkey Wrench. Over almost two years owning an older home, Eric has handled all my plumbing jobs: Gas line hookup, tankless water heater install, copper pipe repairs, replacing sections of cast iron drain, a few kitchen appliance installs, and other odds and ends.

He's a nice guy who knows his stuff, answers all questions, prices competitively, and makes referrals if something is outside of his domain of expertise. Most importantly, he cares about doing good work. I have confidence that Eric is giving the same effort in my home as he would in his own.

Monkey Wrench P&H is exceptional! I’ve needed a plumber on several occasions since returning to Salem after many years away. Eric has been a great find and a great service provider. He responds quickly and resolves problems with great efficiency. He’s knowledgeable, reliable, courteous, and pleasant to work with. Besides for being proficient in his craft, he is genuinely concerned for his clients and is willing to spend the time to explain his thinking and to advise on alternatives. Eric is a great resource and I couldn’t be happier to recommend him.

Another contractor hadn’t fully finished the installation of our toilet which we had no way of knowing until it started leaking across our newly installed floors. Dan was able to get to us super quickly and repaired the issue in no time at all. Pricing was also super reasonable. We’ll absolutely be calling him again in the future!

Dan helped us out in a pinch with a water heater replacement. He was highly responsive (on a Saturday evening!) and was able to do the replacement next day. We really appreciated his clear, kind, and helpful communication throughout. Will definitely call Dan if we have any issues in the future!

Daniel Wright has done several jobs for me over the last year including fixing a water heater, updating plumbing in a shower, and troubleshooting any plumbing issues that I have. Dan was transparent and fair during his visit this morning. He not only replaced our kitchen faucet, but he gave us an estimate on a future disposal replacement. Dan also took a look at our dishwasher and he was able to troubleshoot this issue and he fixed it with ease and efficiency. Dan is fantastic! My house's 60+ year old plumbing setup didn't even phase him and he was able to fix a leaking pipe, add some shutoff valves, and replace a broken external faucet with great care, skill, and speed. Everything works great again, and we couldn't be happier! Will definitely be calling Dan again when this old house needs more plumbing TLC!!
