I used this company to fix a broken dishwasher. Well, they charged almost 500 dollars and did not fix it. When I called back, the technician, in a condescending way said that I need to replace all plumbing. No money was returned and I had to buy a new dishwasher. Needless to say, the plumbing was fine. What did not work is unprofessional low quality repair and disrespect to customers. My advice, look for a different company for your appliance repair needs.

I have used cca for 10 years ! HOWEVER this is my last time. I have waited a month for the valve for my dryer and not until I called this morning to check on it , did they miraculously have the part! My repair will be tomorrow but won't know until the morning what time! I said I had something in the morning could I get an afternoon appointment ... NO Guarantees!!! After a month out I had hoped for a bit more helpfulness😡

I spoke to this company by phone. They quoted me $110 by phone. The tech came had a look at two washing machines didn't fix either one of them. He charged me $210 thats $100 more than I was quoted. New Washing machines cost about $500 Before you hire this company think about the cost of a new appliance then calculate how much these liars charge you for showing up to your house for 30 minutes. The better business decision would be to buy a new appliance.run from this company

Technician came to my home. Arrogant and unprofessional.
The pop-up downdraft for my stove was jammed. He opened the cabinet and looked at the metal box underneath it. Did not remove a single screw to check if unit was repairable. Told me I needed to buy a new one and charged me $187.00 for basically DOING NOTHING AT ALL. Total Scam. Company delivers nothing. They insist on coming to your home without first asking about an appliance's age or model #. Why waste a trip if no repair parts are available? Why charge a customer for doing basically nothing? One word: AVOID! I have never heard of a supposed trained technician diagnosing a problem without even taking the metal cover off the unit. -
Very disappointed with Cape Cod Appliance. I paid $370 for a dryer repair that worked for only one day. Despite their warranty on parts and labor, they refused to issue a refund after multiple failed attempts to fix it. I had to replace the dryer entirely and spent over $100 at the laundromat during this time. This experience was frustrating, costly, and a complete waste of time.

I called this place to fix my dishwasher and told them the issue. They told me it would cost 179.00 to go there to my home. They said they could fix it but did not. Instead wanted to charge me an extra 350..00 to get parts and fix it. I can buy a new one for that price. Basically they lied they could not fix it like they said they could. He was there for 15 minutes. This place is a scam. Buy new

Please go elsewhere!!!!
A service call set amount but getting charged to level off a dishwasher and telling me I can get ignitors for stove at the dollar store for oven?!
The $395 for less than an hour charge for nothing repaired is robbery! A greedy company that knows how to cash your check quick. If you were around Boston you wouldn't last -
Disappointed with the service and lack of expertise.
I called for a certified GE technician to diagnose a leak on the bottom left side of my GE dishwasher door. When the technician arrived around 2:40 PM, I explained the issue and the steps I had already taken to troubleshoot it. Within 20 minutes, he gave up and charged me a $140 mandatory service fee—which I don’t take issue with. What I do take issue with is the lack of effort and the technician’s perceived knowledge of the problem / problem solving.
He claimed the unit wasn’t level when he tried to slide it back in, which supposedly pinched the door gasket and caused the leak. However, he pointed to the tub gasket—not the door gasket—and made no effort to inspect the door itself. I asked why, if the gasket was pinched, the leak only occurred on the left side and not the right, where the same indentation exists. He had no answer and didn’t attempt further diagnostics. He didn’t remove the door, inspect the door gasket, or explore any other potential causes.
After doing my own research—including watching repair videos—I removed the door and discovered that the door gasket had failed and was missing a piece. The leak had nothing to do with the tub gasket as the technician claimed.
Overall, I’m frustrated by the lack of effort and expertise. I paid for a professional diagnosis and received little more than a guess.
