This was the worst experience I have had with any service provider. I called on 12/23 for an appointment. Jay said he could come out 12/24 at 11am. At 12:30 when he hadn't arrived we gave him a call and Jay said he was running a little behind and would be by shortly. At 4:30 I texted Jay and he said he would be here in about 45 minutes. At 6:05 I reached out again and he said he got a flat tire and would have to come on 12/24. When I asked what time he did not respond. We waited over 7 hrs for him. My husband took the entire day off of work waiting for him. I do not trust Jay to show up or keep us posted so I told him just to cancel the appointment and I called another plumber. In my opinion this was terrible service. I would not use this company.
Update:
Since yesterday I have gotten numerous text messages from the owner of the company apologizing profusely and trying to make it right. I believe he's very sincere and wants to do the right thing. I think going forward I would be a little cautious and maybe ask to speak to the manager or supervisor sooner.

I called with no heat or hot water in the middle of the night. Jay called back at 5:00 AM, drove from Boston and arrived in Dover by 8:00.

I never write reviews but had to. Unbelievably responsive, helpful, and professional.

On Jan. 16 I was house sitting for my daughter while she was on vacation. Around midnight I went to use the kitchen faucet only to find the line frozen. I did the usual DIY check and discovered water streaming out of the hot water heater. I called Jay who answered immediately. He patiently walked me through the steps to shut it down so my daughter wouldn't have a flooded basement and told me he would come in the next morning to get it all fixed. He arrived when he said he would and had the job done in no time! To say he was efficient is an understatement! Communication was great, he's as friendly and nice as the come and I couldn't be happier with his service! If you need a plumber, this THE MAN!!

Tried to use the hot water at 11 pm and nothing. Called and got a response even with it being late at night. Jay came the next morning at 8 am. Replaced the water heater, cleaned up after himself and was done in 40 minutes. Thank you so very much for the quick response and speedy work! Especially as our Air BnB had guests!

Had a drain emergency and Drains 911 absolutely came through. From the moment I called, they were responsive, professional, and got someone out fast. They explained what was going on, walked me through the fix, and got the job done without any runaround or upselling.

They showed up on time, worked clean, and handled a nasty drain issue like it was no big deal. Fair pricing, solid work, and just good people to deal with. You can tell they actually care about doing the job right.

If you’re dealing with a clogged drain, backup, or anything urgent, Drains 911 is exactly who you want to call. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Personally, I was so fortunate and I am so thrilled with Jay and his company. I have to tell you he is outstanding. That is the word and I wouldn’t hesitate for one minute to give him a call from anything to do with Plumbing and I just want to put that out there.

On a Saturday night, we returned from a trip in the middle of a brutal cold spell to discover we had no running water. Drains 911 was at our house the next morning super early (on Super Bowl Sunday no less) and resolved the issue quickly. This company is fantastic.

Called Jay on Feb 28 at approximately 8:00pm for a mainline clog that wouldn’t be cleared with a toilet plunger. He was currently at another job, so he came at 7:00am the next morning. He opened the septic tank to check if he could clear the line outside, but he couldn’t. He jetted the main line and tossed the septic tank filter. He was done by 7:45 am. Great work

Jay came out on an emergency call on Thanksgiving morning to fix a backed up sink. Ultimately, the issue proved to be much more significant, but he was able to sort out the issue quickly.
I would recommend Drains 911 to anyone with an issue - great or small. Jay is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about his work. He was able to clearly and succinctly explain the issue he was encountering and provided a thorough solution at an economical price.

Called Jay on January 2nd — right between New Year's and the weekend when everyone else was still on holiday — he showed up within 25 minutes. The blockage was past the P-trap in old cast iron pipes where my snake couldn't reach. Jay got through the rust buildup and cleared it quickly.

The truck alone tells you this guy is serious about drains — fully equipped and ready to go.

I recently completed a full renovation, including a kitchen remodel, two and a half bathrooms, new flooring, and a full repaint, and I cannot recommend Anthony and his team highly enough.

The house was quite run down when we started, and the transformation is incredible—I genuinely felt like I was walking into a brand new home once the work was complete.

From start to finish, Anthony kept me informed throughout the entire process. His attention to detail is exceptional, and it was clear he truly knows what he is doing. He and his team were incredibly trustworthy—always professional, reliable, and respectful—and it was clear they genuinely cared about doing the job right.

Anthony quickly understood my vision and goals without needing constant direction. We were working against a tight deadline, and remarkably, he and his team completed everything to the highest standard within just two months—something that still surprises everyone who hears it.

I am beyond happy with the final result and am already planning future projects with Anthony and his team. I would not look anywhere else. Just incredible work.

Anthony and his team oversaw a major renovation of our house right after we bought it. He replaced the heating and HVAC, did a major kitchen renovation and 3 bathrooms, and did general improvements to the rest of the house. The three things that stood out to me were

1. his speed - we had tight timelines as we needed to move in, and he kept things right on track throughout, finishing in about 3 months, and communicating with us throughout about status and expected timing.

2. his committment to doing a great job - there were a number of things that came up throughout the project that we hadn't explicitly discussed beforehand (eg chimneys, flooring in certain rooms, etc) and across it all he went above and beyond to deliver a complete project for us. It never felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed - it was more like a partnership to get the house to be the best it could be (within our budget).

3. the ease of working with him - this was our first house and we didn't know what to expect or what we should be doing. He made us feel at ease and provided all the info we needed to keep things moving. Additionally, his team is great - everyone who came through knew what they were doing and was easy to work with

Overall it was an extremely positive experience and I look forward to working with Anthony and his team for future renovations
