Green Tech replied promptly to my call after hours on a Sunday night, understood the issue and my desired solution perfectly, and completed the job within their promised window. I'll be following up with them for additional work, for sure.

I had a leak under the kitchen sink, and my landlord contacted Green Tech Plumbing & Heating. They responded quickly and were able to come out the same day. The plumber who arrived was very friendly, professional, and efficient. He fixed the issue promptly, ensured there were no more leaks, and left everything clean and just as he found it. Excellent service — great job all around!

They get some credit for actually replying to my calls, which many local plumbers didn't, but I definitely won't be using them again.

They didn't quote or have answers to my questions about what toilet they'd actually be installing. They just said they could do a $975 or $1275 toilet. Meanwhile the MOST expensive toilet available 10 minutes away at Home Depot is under $400.

They didn't provide any break down of parts costs vs labor etc. They just said "the iPad says $975".

Total came to $1375 for replacing a toilet which took them under an hour and the parts themselves probably totalled under $300 but they won't even break it down.

Keep searching, you can do better than these guys.

Dave was great! He came out the day our water heater failed, installed a new one efficiently and answered all of our questions in a patient and knowledgeable way! Would definitely recommend.

We called for a quote on a backed up toilet and were quoted between $300-600. Plumbers came out snaked the drain and charged $575+$100 service fee. This seems like the most basic possible solution to a backed up toilet and the only explanation i got is that the only way it could hit the lower end of the quote was if it only needed plunging which obviously was tried before a plumber was called.

Was told they were coming between 9-11am. Dave gave me a heads up before he arrived and was on time. Very punctual, friendly and efficient! Made sure there was no lingering problems or questions. Would recommend this company!

David came and saved the day. He swapped out the leaking water heater and had a new one installed in no time. He was super polite and informative and I'd recommend Green Tech (and David) to anyone.

Dave was great. I really appreciate how he explained and communicated what was going on with accurate timelines for resolving the issue. He was neat/tightly, mindful of wearing shoes in the house, and professional.

The water heater in our hair salon wasn’t working properly, and was running very cold. We had a busy day ahead of us and I couldn’t find another company that would come to a business. Thankfully, Green Tech Plumbing responded with in 30 minutes and was able to come out the next day. They made sure everything was working properly, and had recommendations as to how to get it to run more efficiently. (Our water heater is in an uninsulated closet, causing it to run cold on freezing days)

David came to fix our toilet on a Saturday afternoon. He was punctual, courteous, and communicative. The process was super simple and he made sure I didn’t have any lingering questions or problems! I’d recommend him and this company for future projects.

We were charged $275 for someone to come out the same day to fix our gas leak on our furnace, which I expected would be expensive for emergency work. That's fine.

The tech only said we had a flame sensor issue (a ~$25 part we found out later that was still under warranty to begin with). We were charged another $875 for the repair on that part which took no more than 90 minutes.

Not 4 hours later, the house smelled like gas again. The tech completely missed 2 very faulty parts even after the company ripped us off on the initial work. Now those parts are fixed, and the flame sensor again is now not working again. I have called upwards of 9 times in 2 days, texted, even replied to the Venmo payment (why you should only pay with CC), and they won't even reply.

Absolutely unethical company exploiting customers for shotty work and I'll be reaching out to the city of Somerville, the BBB, and the MA AG unless I hear back and they come fix the issue today.

Dave was amazing! Our furnace was having issues. He diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. Came same day, so we didn’t have to freeze without heat! Thanks so much Dave!!!

Dave was really kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was wrong with our faucet, what our options for fixing it were, & the pros and cons of each. He also taught us how to maintain the new parts he installed, so we wouldn’t end up with the same problem again. This was our first time calling a plumbing service, and Dave made it quick and easy. One of the Green Tech technicians came by and identified the issues in less than 30 minutes that had been mysteries to prior contractors. Excellent work. Glad to have hot water.

Dave was great, very clear and honest about my options and pricing. He also wore shoe covers which is always appreciated. Communication about scheduling was quick and easy over text.

Great experience. Very quick to reply and we're able to come over the same day, on a Sunday. Had to replace the faucet, and they did right there. All communication remotely since we live in a different state went very smoothly.

Our pipes completely froze during a recent cold snap, and they were able to come out last minute to help us fix it. They addressed the issue in a timely manner and were able to recommend options to prevent pipe freezing. Highly recommend going with them in the future for any plumbing needs!

Absolutely amazing! We realized our heat had been off all day. Our technician arrived within an hour of calling, at night, well past normal hours. He had our heat fixed in 30 minutes. He had the necessary replacement part with him and doesn’t need to come back. I could not be more grateful. It is cold out!
