I've been a customer since I bought my house on the Cape over 10 years ago. They respond very fast if it's an issue related to heating during the winter or cooling during the summer. The technicians are never in a hurry and patiently answer all my questions. Morgan resolved the problem today quickly and efficiently. He inspected everything beyond the main issue and declared everything safe and operating as it should. I'm very satisfied with South Shore and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Excellent work. Technicians are great to work with. They are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work done in their home. Used them twice and they are extremely reliable.

Morgan was terrific. He knew what was wrong and fixed it pronto. He was also very nice to talk with and had good customer skills. Just glad to have heat again 🙂

Keith is an excellent maintenance technician. He resolved a rattling noise that has been going in for several years.
He explained everything he was doing and pointed out other areas that required attention.
I am very pleased with his service today and hope that he returns in the future.

I haven’t always had the best experience with South Shore and their Lennox products. We’re on our second thermostat, and it’s been very unreliable—the touchscreen has rarely worked consistently since day one and is now almost unusable. I would never recommend a Lennox product to anyone. Craig came out and was very professional and thorough. I appreciate his candor and the fact that he acknowledged the issue we were having, which he also experienced firsthand with our thermostat.

It’s nearly impossible to find a Company who consistently exceeds your expectations every time they’re called. MacFarlane South Shore Heating & Cooling is that company. I’ve contacted them both during business and after hours for Heating and A/C issues/maintenance. Several times the calls were in my eyes critical emergencies such as in the middle of winter when the heating system is not working properly. I called recently for a heating issue and Riley Rogers arrived within 90 minutes or less. In fact he also provided the same type of service within a hour or so last year. He is polite; mild mannered and most importantly he remedied the issue without a lot of hype. He minimized our angst as if it was no big deal. They have also repaired A/C issues. I am both grateful and impressed by this company and with this technician.

Brian was quick and efficient. Reset the furnace in 5 min. Price wasn’t the best but it was considered after hours service once I called at 5 pm. Thank you!

I know I left a review a year ago but I have to leave another. Russ is amazing, as is everyone I deal with there. But his caring approach for my 100-year-old dad's comfort while fixing the heating system was just astounding. The company, in general, tried and tried (and succeeded!) to fix a pesky problem. It always feels like it isn't about money with them, it's about pride. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

Swapped out the heating system and hot water heater, there were 3 guys here most of the time for two days and they were very professional and courteous. Did a great job went over the new system with me… very happy and pleased with the work. Thank you!

A+ work from start to finish! The South Shore team treated me and our home with care and respect, took time to go over everything and answer all of my questions and operated at a very high level of both work level and professionalism. Will was clear in setting my expectations - walked me through my reservations and followed up to ensure my satisfaction. Wayne knew every detail of the system, articulated it all and found every way to leave me with a perfectly operating HVAC system. It’s clear his work ethic is top notch. I have very high standards and they were exceeded at every point. Highly recommend this company. Top tier.

Vincent Vafiades was very prompt (called at exactly 12:15 as I requested)and ready to listen to my questions and concerns about a new water heater. He gave me appropriate and reassuring answers which made me feel like I was now able to choose the best gas Pheem unit for my husband and me. He asked what was my major concern, and I responded that I would like it installed ASAP...and he arranged to have the installation the next morning...I was so relieved! He was fantastic, very pleasant and obviously knew his job! He stayed around to make sure the boiler ran its cycle and so glad he did he had to make 1 final setting and perfection ….works great!
The whole company process and crew I would recommend to anyone! I’m very happy that my gut directed me to you, your promptness and willingness to answer question was so hi caliber and to the crew showing up on time, allocating 5 workers the whole day to complete the job by 2:30… very impressive!

Brian returned to fine tune the temp response by the thermostats and he was excellent at problem solving the necessary repairs. Great personality and very attentive to all my questions and very respectful and courteous!

Matt was the service rep who repaired a small hose leak. He showed up promptly, reassured me a clip problem only and was very pleasant!! Repair covered under their warranty !
