Constraction reviews in Springfield, Massachusetts

I needed a painter last minute to paint an entire apartment. I called Darlin and he came out the same day and said he could do the job the following week. His price was very reasonable especially since the job included removing wallpaper and a lot of prep work. He also recommended a beautiful gray color which I used in every room. Darlin and his worker did an amazing job; the apartment looks brand new! He also painted a pantry at no charge. Darlin is honest, hard-working, and professional. I will use him for all my paint jobs--highly recommended!

Great painting contractor. Darwin and his crew worked hard and delivered as promised. He was able to transform a 3 family home that was in dire need of a facelift on the exterior. Excessive scraping, repair, and prep work was done prior to painting. The end result met all expectations. Will definitely hire to do more work in the near future. If your looking for a hardworking painter who shows up and completes job when promised and who is honest, this is the guy to call

Added Review , was so happy with paint job on 3 family we had Alvarados painting back to paint the single family home on same property! A lot of work but the results were amazing. Hard working, quality painting by this crew. They’re there when they say they’ll start and finish when they tell u a date. Great guys and top notch work

Darlin and his team did a great job on our interior painting job. Removing a lot of wallpaper, preparing walls properly and being very detailed in the quality of their work. He fixed places that needed fixing in the walls, ceilings, and woodwork. The final product was great. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Alvarados Painting. Darlin and his crew exceeded my expectations. He was reasonably priced, very professional and did high quality work. At my home, he painted a bathroom, pressure washed my patio, hung a bike rack, painted my front railings, installed a new vanity mirror and light plus much more. At my rental property, he fixed a microwave handle, broken sliding closet doors and more. My tenants were very happy. I'll definitely be using him again for all my painting and handyman needs.

Darlin works with great pride to produce beautiful walls. When completed, all who came visit us gave out with a big WOW!
His wall preparation was more than thorough, and his painting skill was A+. I can't imagine any painter doing a better job.
He was also very considerate, kind, helpful, and a pleasure to be with.

I highly endorse Darlin Alvarados for any painting need that you may have. He and his crew are highly professional and do a thorough, neat and punctual job. He takes great pride in his work and it is of the highest quality. He made our 106 year old house look brand new and completed the work within the time frame that he gave us. All of this at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate to consider this company.

Darlin and his crew did an excellent repair and painting work at our house recently. The team was professional, courteous and on schedule. I endorse Darlin for his can-do attitude and quality work. His power wash cleaned up years of dirt and grime off our backyard patio and front steps. I’ve been recommending his service to my friends and family.

By far the best painting company around town. The quality of their work is excellent. Darlin is a skilled craftsman and his crew is trustworthy and reliable. The carpentry work he did for me was fabulous. The framing he did was perfect and he was able to add extra space to my kitchen. did a fantastic job removing the stain from wooden ceiling beams and painting them. He did an amazing job prepping and painting wood paneling and removing wall paper. All of his work is done with care and he meets every single deadline. I’ve used lots of local painters over the years and none compare. I only wish I had discovered Alvarados Painting earlier.

Alvarados Painting did an excellent job on our porches doing both needed carpentry and painting. They are very professional, clean, are responsive to the customers needs. I would highly recommend this company.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work Darlin and his crew did on our upstairs bedrooms. Our house is over 200 years old, and the door frames were a difficult challenge—caked in thick, uneven, and chipping paint. Through a combination of meticulous hard work and patience, Darlin's team transformed them into a smooth, beautiful finish.

The crew was a pleasure to have in our home. They were professional and respectful, consistently arriving at 8 a.m. and working productively all day. Darlin also went above and beyond by spotting a rotted window that we were unaware of and skillfully helping us with its reconstruction.

For their exceptional skill, reliability, and fair pricing, I would highly recommend Darlin and his crew to anyone looking for a top-notch painter.

Alvarados painting did a wonderful over-the-top job on our old shingled house.

The prep was so thorough. They scraped the old paint, sanded the shingles, inspected and replaced missing shingles, rotted window frames , patched the chips and cracks on the exposed foundation . They made wise recommendations . They smiled with patience as we changed our mind on some colors .
We could not be any happier with the final outcome. Our old house looks so fresh and new !
I highly recommend Darlin and his team at Alvarados Painting Inc!

I had 5 different companies come out and give me quotes to paint my entire house and make some repairs to rotted wood etc. Darlin walked me around my house and I immediately noticed he had a great eye for the small details which others missed. His quote was also half the price of one of the quotes I received! Darlin and his team did an incredible job. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. He was great at communicating and very neat. I highly recommend Alvarados Painting.

Another contractor whom won't call back. Keep aware, if they can't get that right, there may be many other things they cannot get right.

Mr. Craig was very professional and informative.
He did a splendid job on repairs to my stairs and concrete block foundation.
The cost was reasonable.

He took me the longest time to realize that Craig masonry is actually Mr Craig Masonry this gentleman has two first names Robert Craig. I used to just call him Craig dad be like somebody calling me blay I have a surname and it's disturbingly just like he is Mister Craig very nice gentleman very good at what he does

Great mason with expert experience especially in historical preservation. He's my first choice and I'd recommend him to all my friends. He is definitely an artist and not just your average run of the mill mason who has no idea what he is doing. You can tell that he believes in hard work and also a fair price!

I can’t say enough great things about Robert Craig of Craig Masonry! His dedication to delivering the absolute best in both historical preservation and new build projects is truly unmatched. I had him work on my front staircase, chimney, and fireplace, and the results are simply stunning. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are remarkable – it’s clear that he approaches every project with artistry and pride in his work. Whether you need meticulous restoration or new masonry work, Robert is the only person I trust. I’ll always turn to Craig Masonry for any of my future masonry needs. Highly recommend!
