Reviews of local pros in Springfield, Massachusetts

I was so impressed with David. He gave us a very fair price to remove two difficult trees. His crew was careful of the fences and cleaned up completely afterwards. He did the job on a tight schedule as we are getting married soon! Consider yourself lucky if you can book him for your work. He was professional, timely, hard working. I couldn't have asked for more, well maybe a couple of t-shirts lol. Ps. The price he quoted was the same as a quote for one tree from a different company.
Update: Just to let you know the trees butted up to the property line next door. The neighbors watched intently as the tree was intermingled with their tree. These guys were so careful that they impressed the neighbors with their skilled bucket work and handling of the large limbs coming down! Thank you for taking such good care of our situation David.

I have a huge maple tree that needed to be pruned away from my house along with seriously neglected and overgrown bushes at the front of my house (a few reaching the second floor) that needed to be trimmed and David Murphy did an amazing job at both at a very fair price. The tree is trimmed well away from the house as well as a few lower hanging branches from over my driveway and a few that were over the phone and internet cables leading to my house which removed the hazards while leaving the tree looking neatly groomed. The front bushes turned out better than I had dared hope for because not only did David leave them neatly trimmed and away from the house, but he was able to do so while leaving some distinction between the different types of bushes that have grown into each other. David Murphy’s years of experience and know how shine through his work. I will definitely be calling him for future tree/bush work.

The owner David was professional, responsive, personable, and friendly. I could rave on and on about him. David and his crew were highly experienced- and extremely strategic when dropping large trees in tight spaces. I was so intrigued by their performance. I highly recommend using them!

David was amazing. Our neighbor's tree fell onto our the powerlines connected to our home due to Hurricane Isaias . We called David at Western Mass Tree Care and he was amazing. He responded super fast, gave an immediate quote, and did the work the very next day. He listened to our concerns and took our situation very serious. He was professional and explained everything he was going to do. I would highly recommend Western Mass Tree Service.

We can not say enough about how wonderful Western Mass Tree Care was to work with. We had a gigantic 100+year old maple in our backyard that was old, rotting, and apparently hollow through the core. This tree was so massive, if it had fallen down it would have taken out half our house. Not to mention, we have a fence around our property, right next to this massive tree, making this project an extra special pain for whomever took it on.

Western mass Tree Care came out and gave us a great estimate, so we were immediately impressed and pleased with their professionalism and care for our worries. On the day of taking the massive tree down, the team worked tirelessly through the rain to bring down massive limb after massive limb, chipping away at the tree to get to the base. Each time they ensured no damage was done to our fence or lawn. How they did that, I’m still amazed!!

The base of the tree was so rotted and hollow, they were able to have one of their team members crawl into the tree!! Our kids got a great kick out of that, and they were entertaining our kids all day. Such a wonderful group of workers and we are so grateful for all their hard work. This tree was NOT easy, but they were so creative, safe, and professional.

I would recommend Western Mass Tree Care for any of your tree service needs, they are beyond 5 stars!!
