Electrical reviews in Stoneham, Massachusetts

Jeff and his team worked efficiently and professionally to take care of a list of electrical issues at my house. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and gave useful suggestions for future work. JMR Electric was organized and well operated on the office end as well, which I felt was also important.

They replaced our old 60A panel with a 200A one, and they installed new outlets in three of our bedrooms. I found them very easy to work with and communicate with. They also understood our budget constraints and worked with us to find cost-effective solutions. I would recommend JMR for high quality, professional electrical work.

Great Job JMR! Responsible, reliable and reasonable on price. Thanks Ed for all your help!

We hired JMR to replace and upgrade lighting in our basement and add a couple receptacles. Every step of the way was painless from scheduling and performing the initial walkthrough and estimate to the work being completed. The team showed up on time when scheduled, the quality of the work and team that was here was outstanding, very professional and they finished in less time than anticipated/estimated. Without even needing to ask the final billing was prorated based on the time on site. Would recommend to anybody looking to have work done at their home, great experience and would absolutely use them again.

JMR did a great job from start to finish. They were punctual, friendly, and efficient. We had them out to add 2 new outlets in our home and take a look at a couple of potential issues. They installed the new outlets in short order and went above & beyond to address and fix the issue areas we noted. Will definitely be using them again for future projects.

JMR Electric has outstanding workmanship. We called on them when we had a tree pull our electrical box off of our house during a wind storm. They came in an emergency situation and got us up and running within hours. They truly care about the customer and the work that is needed and what has to be done for the safety of the home. They were prompt, tidy and communicated in a top notch manner. We are very happy that we chose JMR Electric Group.

Jeff and his crew have worked on our house twice. Working with tradesmen of this caliber is a gift! He's fair, transparent and does excellent work. No need to look further, JMR is a good as it gets!

He helped us with redoing our electrical panel during our home renovation and then came back to help install lighting and TV/Sound system for our home office and living room. Set up new LED lights in our basement, as well.

I have used JMR numerous times on multiple properties. They have earned my trust to make recommendations, both on design and energy consumption. It can be worrisome if you can't trust your electrician on what needs to be done, especially with everything changing to electrical these days. These guys are professional, trustworthy and highly skilled. Not an average company or service, so I will continue to use them and recommend them!

Guy and Zach were great. Showed up on time, talked me through our issues and resolved quickly and inline with the estimate.

Jeff and the rest of his team do great work. They did a 200A service upgrade for us, which ended up being complicated for reasons beyond their control, but the work was done promptly and professionally and most importantly they kept us informed of progress and always responded very quickly. Every member of their team is attentive to details and willing to explain things and listen to concerns. They'll be first on my list the next time I need some electrical work done.

We have used JMR Electric Group several times now for different problems we had around our house, and each time they have been responsive, professional, and quick to get the job done. They are easy to work with and would highly recommend.

Jeff cares about what he does and it shows in his finished product. On all of our projects (three projects to date) Jeff has taken the time to draw his own lighting layout, suggest fixtures, and suggest edits as he and his team execute the work.

The JMR team is helpful, clean, and respectful. We have used three electrical contractors and JMR is light years (pun intended) ahead of the other two. We will continue to use JMR for our future electrical projects. My wife and I give our highest recommendation to Jeff and his crew.

JMR Electric is the tops. Great communication, super organized, and really nice folks. We've used them for many different jobs, (swapping out a breaker, upgrading outlets) and are always happy.

JMR Electric rewired my entire house and did all the electrical work during a full gut renovation. They did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable about the best placement and selection of lights and outlets and made sure everything was placed perfectly with a laser. They also wired my house for ridiculously fast Internet. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with, and I definitely recommend them.

JMR provides, hands down, the best service we've had from any contractor. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable about the electrical piece and has also been very helpful with design issues.

I can honestly recommend JMR without reservation.

I used therm to install an EV Charger and they were great. Very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them.

JMR did a great job hooking my dust collector up to 220V through a relay attached to my control system for my shop. A slightly different project requiring collaboration that worked out great. Turnaround from request to completion was 1 week. Couldn't have asked for better service.

We've had nothing but good experiences with JMR. We first reached out about a fairly significant troubleshooting/rewiring project about a year ago. Since then, we've gotten two more electrical projects done and both times we didn't hesitate to go straight to JMR again! We've always been pleased with the work experience and final product.

The whole team is respectful and communicative - I particularly appreciate that Ed and Guy are always willing to answer questions and make sure expectations are clear. Pricing is clear and reasonable, work is tidy and well executed.

We recently had JMR Electric Group install an oven for our cafe, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Guy and Charlie did an amazing job from start to finish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and expertise were evident throughout the installation process. They were punctual, efficient, and ensured everything was working perfectly before they left. We highly recommend JMR Electric Group for any electrical work and will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Thank you, Guy and Charlie, for your outstanding work!

We've a lot of electrical work done by JMR and they are excellent. They did the electrical for a new bathroom, upgraded our panel, installed outdoor fixtures, and took care of numerous other issues. They are prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.

Working with JMR Electric over the past few years has been an amazing experience. Their attention to detail on every project from pricing to execution has been on point. Their recommendations, responsiveness has made managing large scale projects easy, and the quality of work is unmatched. I look forward to continue to work with them in the future and will always refer them to homeowners and builders.
