My company uses Boston & Cambridge appliance repair frequently and they're great. Can usually get someone out within 24 hours and always call with updates.

From the upbeat demeanor of the office staff, to the prompt polite manner of the repair man every inch of this experience was top notch. I would and have recommended Boston Cambridge Appliance to many friends and colleagues.

Every time I call Boston & Cambridge Appliance Repair a REAL PERSON always answers. I am never on an endless cycle of number pushing like every other company. They are fast and efficient. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Oven broke with an error code. Courtney, the repair man came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. Because of the part that would need to be replaced was $300 (total service $450 with labor and diag), he double-checked that this is what we wanted to do because we were reaching a break even cost of getting a new oven. I'm normally pretty skeptical, but Courtney really had the customer's best interest in mind.

I would give 10 star if I could. Boston appliance is a great company. Response time was immediate and the job was performed perfectly. I would recommend this company to all. Don't waste time looking for other companies. If you want it done right, call Boston appliance. Thank you Boston appliance !!!

Great overall experience. Tina was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and she had an appointment set up within a day (and that fit everyone's schedule). The techs that came out were on time and professional. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. Prices were reaonsable. Thanks again!

I used Boston & Cambridge Appliance Repair for my office when our refrigerator stopped working. Bill came and was very helpful, informative and knew exactly what the problem was. He came on time and was great. Would recommend them!

I have used BCAR in the past and they continue to impress me with their outstanding customer service, reasonable prices and professionalism. The owner Tony came out to look at my washer machine that was not draining. He fixed the pump and my machine was up and running the same day!!! I highly recommend BCAR for all your appliance services!!!

I used Boston&Cambridge Appliance Repair two times.
first time my refrigerator stopped cooling. The response was very quick, a technician came, a problem was identified, a part was changed.

Two months later the refrigerator started to make an intermittent knocking noise. I have called the company again, and as in the first time the response was very quick. A technician came, spent about 15 minutes and could not find any issue and left and asked to record the noise next time it comes around. The noise continued, and was recorder. A technician came again, "checked" the refrigerator again said "i have took few things apart, put back and now it is fixed" , I have asked to retest it again to make sure that no noise is coming, he said "absolutely no need and left" a day after .. noise came back. I have called the Boston$Cambridge Appliance Repair again ... I was told that the operator will speak with the technician and get back to me ... I've got no phone call from them .... meanwhile I have fixed the refrigerator on my own, and about a month later Boston$Cambridge Appliance Repair called me and asked to pay a bill . I understand that a technician spent some time trying to fix the issue, but at the same time he did not fix it and refused to retest the machine ... now was asked to pay for the work that was eventually was done by me ....

I spoke with Tara and Tina, customer service, who dispatched Tony the repairman this past Sunday, 03-03-18, to come to my condo to fix a malfunctioning aging refrigerator. Tony showed up and fixed my refrigerator in short order. It works great after the repair. I highly recommend Boston & Cambridge Appliance Repair, Inc. I had never used BCAR and contacted them on a late Friday afternoon desperate whim and lucked out. Tara and Tony were professional and they have week-end appointments ! You should use this company!

I’ve worked with Boston & Cambridge Appliance a few time now. They are alway transparent with zero surprises, reasonable when it comes to price. I recently worked with them for a dryer maintenance and the work was done fast and efficient. I will continue to use there services for my appliances maintenance.

Great company to work with. I have had to call twice for my stove and washer/drier and both times the service was impeccable. They were easy to schedule an appointment with and were quick with the repairs. I highly recommend and would definitely use again in the future.

Just had them out to look at a coinop washing machine that is not cleaning properly. I have video in the lauindry room and I watched as the repair person showed up, started a load, watched the load for ten minutes - periodically looking at his phone - and then left (ten minutes total time spent). I called the company and they said his repair notes were "recalibrated board". I told them I had video and I watched as he didn't even open the machine - not sure how he could calibrate anything. They were very rude saying quote "what do you want us to do?". I said make it right - they said "we won't charge you - go find someone else"

Wow. Don't use these guys, poor service, poor customer service, and they clearly tried to cheat me

Great service!! Jay was fantastic, arrived on time, had the needed part and fixed the oven in less then 30 minutes. The price was both fair and honest. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Called for repair on refrigerator they responded within hours and had the refrigerator up an running within an hour technician was very skilled and professional 👍

Our Samsung dryer belt gave out. We hired Boston & Cambridge Appliance repair to come out and replace it. They told us on the phone that the service call would be $89 and that the labor would be $80. Parts would be added to this. They gave an invoice for $99 + $90 for these two fees and also charged $135 for a belt and idler pulley which costs about $30 online - maybe $50 at their supplier at most. I realize that they need to mark up parts, but this was ridiculous. The entire repair took less than 30 min and we were left with a $333 bill for a dryer that brand new is like $500. I called and complained about the price and they said they would credit back some of the charge and that the parts should have been $85 (still a big mark up I'm sure). I was told that technicians have "discretion" for how much they mark up parts and evidently on the service fee and labor too. I feel taken advantage of and I suspect that many others have been. I do not mind paying a company for good work, but lets do it with an honest fee structure. I will not use these guys again.

Update: The owner ended up waving the part fee, which I appreciate. I hope that transparency in the process increases.

I had a very positive experience with Boston Cambridge Appliance. Jay, the service technician, was nice and respectful, never spoke down to me and really explained the ins and outs of refrigerators. You can tell that he is passionate and educated in the space. I did need them to come back once or twice to check on things, but they were always prompt in sending someone out the next day. Will definitely call then for other appliance needs in the future!

Geralson came out on time, professional, repaired our 4 year old washing machine in 30 minutes. He was very polite and hard working. We really appreciated how efficient he was and also how easy the online booking system is. We got our repair service booked same day and it was about $50 less than a plumber or handyman. So glad we found this service for Boston area!

Called for dishwasher service these guys came same day got me back up and running! Extremely professional! I’ll be calling these guys from now on! Thank you!
