Very disappointing experience with Paradise Dry Cleaners in Swampscott. I brought two dresses that had stains and paid $52 just for dry cleaning, which is extremely expensive. They even charged extra because they said they would treat the stains.

One thing that already felt uncomfortable was that they require you to pay immediately when you walk in, before they even start the service. So customers have to pay first and then leave their items.

When I went back to pick up my dresses, they looked exactly the same as when I dropped them off. The stains were still there and it honestly seemed like nothing had been done. I basically paid $52 for no results.

What made this even worse is that they did not offer any refund, discount, or solution. If the stains could not be removed, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of charging customers and returning the items unchanged.

Very frustrating experience and a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We love Paradise Cleaners. They are so friendly and do an excellent job. We have been going to them weekly for 4.5 years and they have made us feel like part of the family.

Good location and super friendly, mainly due to the old lady who is there in the mornings during the week, however, the shop is very expensive and seems sneaky. Dropping of shirts, they wouldn't run them through the dry cleaner and would fail to tell me. I've had many shirts with stains and they often don't get them out, even when I've pointed them out, nor do they tell me they cannot. They also decided one day they were going up on their prices didn't inform me until I was checking out with a few shirts. Unacceptable if you ask me. I'm currently searching for a new reliable dry cleaner that tells me they cannot remove stains and warns if they are going up on their prices. Enough said.

I had 3 sport jackets cleaned by Paradise Cleaners. They were rather sweaty after a few summer weddings. They did a great job with my jackets, and Sam at the front desk is incredibly friendly.

Fast and quality cleaning of a coat of mine. What was curious is the top button is very loose. While this was likely the case before it went in to be cleaned, it wasn’t noticed, fixed or pointed out. They do alterations so I figured they’d notice if not ask if I wanted it fixed.

This company arrived fast and did a wonderful work.

Their quick turnaround time for dry cleaning is a lifesaver for my busy schedule.
