Kevin and his crew did an amazing job trimming large oak limbs overhanging deck and roof! Beautiful work on Japanese maple too! Thanks!! Definitely recommend East Coast Tree and Kevin’s crew!

First, these guys had the best price out of the 5 companies I called in the area. In addition, these guys called the day before to review the project, showed up first thing in the morning when they said they would, the guys reviewed again everything that would occur. We watched them remove 5 trees, trim up 2, and stump grind the 5 stumps. It was so well coordinated and executed. They cleaned up everything and my yard looks cleaner than before they were there. They blew out the whole yard to get all the wood pieces. I will 100% use them again and recommend them. Thank you Kevin, Adam, Eddie, and team for the amazing work!

East Coast Tree Service removed three trees from my property. Most of the other tree services were unable to handle the job because their cranes could not reach the trees that were behind my house. During each step with East Coast, every staff member was prompt, professional, responsive and friendly. The crew that did the work operated as a well-oiled machine. If you are considering tree work, don’t hesitate to contact East Coast.

I lost my husband a couple of months ago and he used to cut down the dead trees with his chainsaw and cut them up, split and stack them outside to use in our fire pit. One of our trees was struck by lightning a while ago but I only noticed it a few weeks ago and knew something had to be done. I only saw that it was split spirally going up the tree but Kevin, the estimator/arborist, confirmed it was actually struck by lightening. There were other dead trees, also. I researched different companies and decided to call East Coast Tree Service. I usually try to start with the highest rated companies but at the same time ones who have a lot of reviews rather than a few great reviews. This company had both.

Started with Jen in the office on the phone and she was absolutely great, patient and answered all of my questions. After discussing my needs with her I agreed to have Kevin come out to give me an estimate. I also asked if they were fully insured with Workman's Comp and General Liability and she said they were and had their agent email me Certificates of Insurance and I was impressed by that. Some companies don't like to give you a COI until after you've accepted the quote but that's not how I do business. I can't accept your proposal without knowing for sure that you're currently, fully insured. There was no question there and I had it the next day.

Kevin (also my husband's name) came out to the house and was very friendly, patient and he, too, answered all my questions. He wasn't rushed and took his time walking around in the yard with me explaining different things and I felt very comfortable with this company and accepted his quote that day, on-the-spot. (had already rec'd 2 other quotes) He gave me a date right there. They were a week out. It was a relief that I only had to wait a week, as the lightning strike tree was making me very nervous in the wind,. as I could see it bending. This company seems to work well together and they seem well organized.

Brendon and Brian came out today, 7/1/25, to provide the service, as scheduled. Both were very polite, friendly and answered all of my questions. They were obviously familiar with the equipment, ran it well and did a great job! They worked well together as a team, specially with the tall trees we had to take down and most of them surrounded the shed my husband built, which housed all of his equipment. They took special care in making sure even the largest of limbs were secure and when they dropped them from the upper portion of the tree, they were straight-up-and-down and they carefully lowered them to the ground to cut up to prepare for chipping. They took down 5 trees and when they left you wouldn't even know they were here because they cleaned everything up so nicely, including with the leaf blower to get up all the sawdust/chips of wood. These 2 men did a lot of work and they would here all day. They are hard workers!!

I plan to have this company out again soon and will request these 2 gentlemen. I highly recommend East Coast Tree Service for any task. They have modern, heavy-duty equipment, including a crane crew.

East coast tree removed a giant oak tree for me, it was a very challenging job wedged between two houses and lots of electrical wires. They did an amazing job, they were very professional and great workers. It was one of the most amazing things to watch. I would highly recommend them.

East Coast is efficient and professional. We really appreciated their clear communication and recommendations for maintaining the trees on our property. They also did a great job cleaning up the yard when they have finished trimming the trees. We highly recommend this friendly team!

Today is 12/17/21 this tree company chucks parked their trucks and cars in front of my house. They were working on my neighbor yard right next door. Mind you its around 7am 8am in the morning. I understand the tree cutting machine is loud already plus the leaf blowing machine , but the workers didn't need to add on the extra noise one worker he was making weird yelling sounds and they talk loud. Knowing its still early some people work 2nd shift and 3rd shift and has babies thats still sleeping !! very inconsiderate. Get the job done but make minimal noise no need to add to it . You be cranky too if you need to rest and woken up to this And I heard all of this from my bedroom. I never write reviews for anything this is my first time. If that dude didn't make weird yelling sounds i wouldn't have.

Pros: Quick and on-time service. Removed 3 dead/dying trees that had large branches falling down on our yard, all taken care of in one morning.

Cons: Left quite a bit of lawn rut, but maybe there was no getting around it. Also wasn't warned that they only take cash or checks, no credit cards. A bit of warning would have been nice.

Overall, satisfied that they completed what they said they were going to do, but a bit of warning on the lawn rut and cash only would have been appreciated.

We had Chuck and his crew remove two ENORMOUS trees from our property. His dad came a week later to remove the stumps. This group is without a doubt as professional a group as you could ever hope to meet. Prices were MORE than fair....to watch the whole process was fascinating...seeing a huge hunk of tree that you know weighs hundreds of pounds being lifted over your house is frightening..until you watch the man running the crane. A true professional, as were they all. They cleaned up every bit of limbs, leaves and stumps. They were all very polite and courteous. My husband and I were VERY pleased with them and their work, we would use them again without hesitation, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. P.S....that "Google" user a few posts down either has the wrong company, or was a bit tipsy when he wrote his review......RUDE behavior was not evident in ANYONE on Chuck's crew, quite the contrary.
