General Contractor reviews in Upton, Massachusetts

Jack was recommended to us from a neighbor and we’re so grateful!! He is very professional, responsive and did excellent work taking down our old deck, replacing and expanding. Jack takes pride in his work and is very detail oriented. We are extremely pleased with our new deck and would HIGHLY recommend him!! Reasonably priced and high quality of workmanship!!!

We had Strong Builders do a full remodel of our kitchen. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work, or the transparency that Jack provided throughout the entire process. Jack's the best and what he does, and we highly recommend!

We recently worked with Strong Builders to replace our old, rotting carport and deck with a brand-new 1-car garage and composite deck, and the results are absolutely stunning. The quality of Jack’s work blew away our high expectations.
Each person, including inspectors and another contractor, who have seen the finished product over the last few weeks have literally made a point to say some version of “Wow.” The new garage is so beautifully built that we’re hesitant to even park a car in it — it’s that good.

We selected Jack after meeting with several contractors. His pricing was competitive, but what truly set him apart was his professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness during the quoting and planning process. He was easy to work with as we designed the final layout, offering thoughtful, professional guidance and helping us make confident decisions along the way.

During the build, Jack was an absolute professional. He took immaculate care of our property — his tools and materials were always tidy and out of the way, and we never had to worry about our three dogs near the construction area. He communicated clearly about his weekly schedule, any changes, and why they were needed, and he was always flexible with our availability.

The amount of progress Jack made each day was remarkable — it was hard to believe how quickly and efficiently the project came together. The quality never suffered for speed; if anything, it was astonishing how consistent and precise his work was.

It’s worth noting that while Jack is largely a one-man operation, his craftsmanship, reliability, and ownership of every detail are unmatched. His name and reputation are literally tied to every nail and board, and it shows — he genuinely cares about the outcome.

The few sub-contractors he brought in (for electrical and concrete work) were equally professional and skilled, which says a lot about his network and standards.

In short, we would recommend Jack and Strong Builders to absolutely anyone looking for top-tier craftsmanship, trustworthy communication, and true professionalism. It’s rare to find someone who takes this much pride in their work — Jack is the real deal.
