Reviews of local pros in Uxbridge, Massachusetts

Last summer we removed 30 plus years of shrubbery,
replaced our front stairs and installed new walkways. We hired Carlino Landscaping to install new shrubs and a new lawn adjacent to the disturbed areas. This year we asked Tony to do a total property cleanup, thatch and fertilize lawns, then spread mulch in all the beds.
The property never looked so good.
Tony is terrific and the crews are hard working, fast, and cleaned up after all work was completed.
I will continue to use Carlino landscape services in the future.

I honestly cant say enough good things about Carlino and Tony. They transformed my yard into a stunning oasis and went above and beyond every step of the way. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their team was professional, creative, and genuinely passionate about their work.
What sets them apart is their attention to detail and commitment to exceeding expectations. They took the time to listen to my vision, offered expert suggestions (like incorporating native plants for sustainability), and executed a design that was even better than I imagined. Carlino is the way to go. I’m already planning my next project with them! Highly recommend!

Our back yard needed a cleanup desperately and Carlino Landscaping was awesome to do all the work! Josh & Mike did an excellent job. They worked nonstop and went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations. Tony has an excellent landscaping crew and company! Will always rely on them! A++++++++++!! Thank you so very much for brightening our day!

Great Company & Great People to have working for us. They care, they are dependable, they are experts at what they do & they keep us informed on if there is anything we need to do to keep our place looking amazing. Very honest & they explain things so we know what they can do to get the results or even better results then we wanted. Thank you to the Carlino Landscaping & Snow Plowing TEAM :)

Tony and his team did an AMAZING job on my lawn. I had 20+ tree's removed from my front yard in March, had it graded and 6" of new soil brought in, then we seeded. Went on vacation and when I returned all was burnt and full of weeds. Tony's team cut the lawn extremely short, Double aerated and seeded. Looks brand new. GREAT JOB Tony!!!

I learned of Carlinos landscaping through a coworker and gave them a call . I had some beds that needed some love . Tony was such a pleasure to talk to and he himself came on the next available day to do the work . Looks so clean and Beautiful. Thank you for your wonderful service. pictures are before and after .

I have Lived in uxbridge for 10 years now and I have employed my fair share of company’s to maintain my lawn. This was my first year with Carlino and I must say what a difference. The crew is very polite and knowledgeable. And Tony is always available to answer questions, give me an estimates or even give insight. If you’re in the area than look no further and call Carlino landscaping.

We had Carlino landscaping come by to give us an estimate. They were very professional and informative. The work was done in a timely manner. The crew was very Courteous. And the job came out better than we ever expected. We are keeping them on to do all of our landscaping needs. Spring cleanup, mulch, mowing, fertilization, trimming of shrubs, core aeration and over seeding, and fall cleanup. All of our annual property needs are taken care of by Carlino landscaping. It is a pleasure to know we are in good hands. And would highly recommend them! We had others that were cheaper, but we got less than the results. Now that Carlino landscaping has taken over we get more of results than we expect and that is a pleasant surprise. And obviously more for our money

Our condo association contracted with Carlino Landscaping mid-season, as we were not satisfied with our prior landscape service and the appearance of our grounds. In a very short time, we have seen major improvements. The staff is courteous and conscientious, and the owner is knowledgeable and very responsive. Tony takes the time to consider your needs and budget, and works with you to get the best results. Our community has been very pleased with their work ethic and the great results we are enjoying.

Manny and his crew did an excellent job re-roofing our house in Northbridge. The shingles were fallen off the house after 20 years and he said the builder missed the nailing strip on the shingles. He tore up the roof and put on a new roof and were done by 2 o’clock. The price was very reasonable And it was done very neat and clean. He also came and checked out my new house in Oxbridge and gave a kind blessing that the roof was in good shape. I would definitely have Manny and his crew come in the future. Thank you

Shine did a fantastic job on the siding project on our house. Diego listened to our concerns and ideas for different areas, and we worked together to come up with solutions that made us happy while working within the parameters of the materials. The attention to detail put in by the team was excellent. Al kept me updated on the progress of the job every day (sometimes multiple times) with texts and photos. The crew worked diligently in the summer heat, and left our property clean every day and at the end of the project. They circled back quickly on punch list items as the project end neared, and checked back a few months later to make sure everything was still to our satisfaction. A+ for Shine!

The rate and skill in which the job was performed was truly impressive. The constant photo updates, especially those using a drone, provided a level of comfort and the ability to ask questions along the way. I would certainly recommend them as I plan to use them again myself on another project.

The Shine Construction team provided excellent roof replacement service. The project cost was right and the workmanship was the highest quality. The team removed the existing roof and installed the new roof efficiently and with incredible workmanship.

We were so pleased with Shine construction. We hired them for a brand new roof. Their work was top notch, and the crew was professional and hard working. We’d recommend them to anyone!

Diego and his crew at Shine were top-notch. We needed the roof to our Craftsman house replaced on short notice after developing several leaks. We could not have been happier. Diego was extremely professional and communicative. A large team showed up at our house and replaced the roof (not the easiest roofline) in a little over a day. They worked extremely hard, taking pictures of what they thought was the underlying issue, and made sure to keep us informed of the scope of work that needed to be done. We have not had any issues with our roof since, and we feel confident in the quality of their work (a long with their warranty).

We have recommended them to several family members, and they have had similar experiences. We will continue to recommend them.

Shine Construction just finished siding my house and I am extremely happy with the job. Starting with Diego and extending through the crew, they were very professional providing quality workmanship ang impeccable cleanup of the site. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing work done.

The last thing I wanted do was spend money on a new roof, but it had to be done. We had a couple of people come by for estimates, and once Manny from Shine Construction came into the picture, the choice was easy. We definitely made the right decision. Cost was on par with others, but what really stood out was how professional and detail oriented the whole crew was. They worked all day and into the night to get the project finished, and came by the next day to make sure it was perfectly executed. Every nail and piece of debris was cleaned up, the rubber roofing looks immaculate, and after a long winter with plenty of rain, ice, and snow - it’s proved to be a job well done. I would recommend Shine to anyone who needs a new roof - they are a local, family owned company, they made the whole thing easy and stress free, and did excellent work.

Our roof was a technically challenging project, a custom shingle style on a very tall steeply pitched Victorian (turret over 50ft high). We needed siding, trim and widow repair. How would we choose a contractor? We had no references to work with, so we searched online and found many choices too many choices. We read hundreds of reviews. We found contractors who were very experienced and helpful. But we found only one without some negative reviews. We thought how is that possible (likely not but we added them to our list out of curiosity). After interviews and estimates one contractor seemed to Shine above the others (the one with all the positive reviews). And Lenny gave us the best price, but could his team handle this tough project? Yes, they did. Great job, beautiful roof, no complaints another 5-star project.

This is my 3rd time hiring Shine Construction. I'm either very happy or very stupid. It's the former. I am very particular and expect excellent work. I can't say enough good things about Manny the owner and his crew. The last job I just had them do was to replace all my windows, inside trim and outside trim. In addition they also replaced some damaged siding, trim on the eves etc. 35 windows and all the extra work done in 3 days. I love that there are women on the crew. Man or woman, they all do everything...cutting, fitting, installing, vacuuming etc. A vacuum was going the entire time. Our house was immaculate throughout the entire job and our yard. We didn't have to clean up a single mess. Most important, the worksmanship was perfect. I don't think I'll bother to ever get a quote from another construction company. New roof, skylights and now all new windows. This company can't be beat.

Manny, Lenin and the rest of the Shine team did. Great job on our roof. This is the 4th roof we have now used Shine. Kept us up to date on the project all day. Have recommended Shine every time I hear someone needs a roof done. Thanks guys!

Shine replaced our shingles and some of the roof this summer. They did an excellent job on schedule working with the chimney company. Their crew was friendly and efficient. The job was bigger than originally estimated due to the poor condition of the roof, but everything was finished in one day. Their set-up and cleanup was great, I didn’t have to do any cleaning when they left. No mess, no damage. Manny was very friendly and honest. All details were discussed up front. The foreman of the crew was friendly and well prepared on arrival. Shine came well recommended to me and I would use them again without hesitation.
