Joe Frasso did a very good job with analyzing my home and assessing the needs to make iy more efficient. He was very pleasant, informative, and helpful with talking about the needs and options.

He came by our home and did a thorough walkthrough, made some recommendations that are going to help us save on utilities. Very nice guy. I would definitely recommend Colt Home Services.

The review/ estimation process was quick, easy and straight forward. But during the actual work, since our house is brick outside, they drilled holes inside, yet they often skipped pumping the insulation materials and just covered the holes. After finding out, we had to monitor their crew all the way until the project finished to ensure they do not skip!
We didn't notice at first, so our second floor properly just got 70% of the supposed insulation....
So you want to make sure to monitor/follow the project.

- edit: the customer service is super helpful and listening to our concerns. They want to come for quality check and provide any reparations if necessary.

-edit 2: after the QC visit, the team agreed that we indeed needed improvement! And they came back for the work within the week. We are very happy with the service this time.

I never write reviews, ever. I had to write this one because I was honestly blown away by this company.

It started with Sean coming over for what I assumed was just a standard quick inspection. He didn't just look around, he actually installed 6 new thermostats in my house right then and there, completely for free (to me). That set the tone for the whole experience, and the crew that came later really amazed me also.

Jack and Jacob contacted me when they were on the way, showed up exactly on time, and worked harder than I expected was possible. They had to fully insulate the house (attic, 2nd floor, 1st floor, basement, and an outside crawl space). The weather was miserable. It was absolutely freezing outside, and then it started pouring rain. Jack and Jacob were up on ladders, freezing and soaking wet, and they just kept working without a single complaint. They honestly could have taken the easy route and drilled through my inner walls to get the job done fast. Instead, they chose to do it the hard way to make sure they didn't destroy the inside of my house. They took the time to remove the vinyl siding, drill from the outside in, and then put the siding back on perfectly. You just do not find people who care that much about your home anymore.

Jack was incredible at keeping me fully updated through the entire process so I never had to guess what was going on. It turned into a massive project. What was supposed to be a 2-day job turned into 4 days of them working morning till night. They stayed until it was done right, they were extremely polite and knowledgeable the whole time, and there was zero upcharge for the extra days of labor.

Jack, Jacob, and Sean are the absolute stars of the show here. These guys are who you want to work on your home, period.

I had a wonderful experience. Joe was a pleasure to deal with. He was extremely thorough in his assessment and communicated everything to me on how to make our home more efficient and carbon neutral, we are going to move forward with insulation and are very intrigued in moving off of oil now that he explained to us the turn key program! Highly recommend colt home services!

Joe came to our house right on time. He did a nice thorough review from bottom to top. He pointed out each of the details and methods to properly insulate. He took pictures that were very easy to understand how it would fit into the plan. He didn’t rush through anything took his time explaining each part of the process the cost the benefits. He took us smoothly through the payment process and next steps and scheduled our next appointment.

I’ve had Mass Save energy audits in the past, but my experience with Colt Home Services was by far the most informative. Joe arrived right on time and conducted a very thorough assessment. He took time to examine every potential source of energy loss and clearly identified the specific areas that needed better insulation.
