Curbs did a great job replacing a crumbling retaining wall at my house. They were quick, the job site was cleaned up really well afterwards, and they went above and beyond with some conduit issues that came up as the got into the project.

After nearly 10 years without a functional backyard, Curbs Studio completely transformed our outdoor space into the beautiful, usable landscape we had always envisioned. Lucas, Nayara, Nilton, and the entire team delivered exceptional results on what was a complex, multi-phase project.

Our project included full hardscaping with bluestone patios, a custom outdoor kitchen with granite countertops, pool coordination, stormwater management, detailed grading, and extensive custom stonework. Curbs seamlessly handled all permitting and worked closely with other contractors to keep everything moving.

What really stood out was their communication and professionalism. Lucas and Nayara kept us updated every step of the way. When unexpected issues came up, they were quick to provide solutions that kept the project on track. They also helped us make informed decisions with material selections and design details, always offering thoughtful options.

My wife & I have worked Lucas, Nilton, & The Curbs crew on 3 major projects as well as ongoing maintenance for close to 6 years now. In addition to crafting amazing outdoor spaces, what truly sets them apart is their communication and attention to detail. We have never had to push or pry them on anything, ever. They do an amazing job keeping us updated and managing every aspect of the project, big or small. I would and do recommend them to everyone who has ever seen our beautiful backyard (and now front yard).

Our side yard was whimsical — absolutely beautiful — but largely unusable, especially with young kids. We wanted to maintain what we loved about the yard’s identity — the beautiful trees and other plantings, the bluestones used to create a stepping stone path, the decorative boulders — but redo things in a way that was more suitable to taking advantage of the space. And we were really transparent about our budget, which was limited.

CURBS transplanted shrubs and perennials to other parts of the property, keeping the perimeter intact with the large gingkos, beautiful oak trees, and Japanese maples, and then put down sod to extend the grass area. Now we have space for our children.

And they repurposed the bluestone to create a mosaic patio and used the boulders to build a retaining wall — all within our budget yet getting at the core of what we wanted to maintain about the property.

They’re running a business, trying to generate revenue, but at no point did we feel taken advantage of. I’m already working on getting them back to do another project.”

The Curbs Studio Team are absolutely great, from the initial concept of planning to completion, you will not go wrong with them! They have excellent customer service and always replied to our concerns in a timely manner.
