First off, I appreciated that John himself answered the phone on multiple occasions, so my inquiry didn’t just got to voicemail , leaving me to wait endlessly for a call back ( I’ve experienced this with other contractors in multiple fields).
Then John met me asap with roofing samples and quickly emailed me a quote to complete my roofing needs. I decided that TrueHome was not the most or least expensive and I agreed to his competitive bid. Within 2 weeks the job was completed soup to nuts!

From start to finish TRUEHOME Roofing was an absolute pleasure to work with. John was super helpful during the bidding process explaining all the options and associated costs. He did a very thorough inspection of the roof and attic to make sure there were no hidden problems. During installation his crew was very punctual and professional. They were very fast, completing the entire job in a day and did a fantastic job cleaning up. They provided very flexible payment options as well. While I don’t expect to need a new roof again on my house, I would use TRUEHOME in a heartbeat if I did. I recommend them highly!

I decided to go with TRUEHOME Roofing. After reading, many wonderful reviews, and most importantly, after the first meeting with John, I could sense right away he was a true professional, well knowledged and skilled in the business!
I was not wrong! The roof came out amazing! The team was incredible, very organized and extremely clean!

I want to begin by saying, this is the easiest company I have ever dealt with, start to finish!! The communication from first call to scheduling the appointment, install and progress along the way was first rate. John is accommodating and upfront. When installing the roof, some damage was found, and photos were sent to me by Zach on the install team. He communicated with John and the additional cost was limited. I did search for companies before I reached out to a friend and got John's number. The BIG company name that uses the very same products and has the same warranty was many thousands more!
I highly, without reservation recommend TRUEHOME ROOFING to all, you will be very glad you hired them and will be writing reviews of your own!! Guess what? They also do Siding and Windows, too!

I had my roof and gutters replaced by TrueHome Roofing. The pricing was reasonable and transparent, I was appreciative that there were no pressure tactics and just an honest discussion. The project team was easy to work with and the install team was careful with the surrounding property.

I recently received a letter from my insurance company, informin me that I had to replace my roof or they would drop me. And they gave me two weeks. In the winter. Luckily for me, my sister found herself in the same predicament, they did their homework, and had Truehome do their roof. They raved about them, so I called. John got back to me within two hours, he and Brian were at my house in a couple of days, and the roof was scheduled for the following week. There were delays due to weather, but I now have a neat and tidy roof on my house, my kennel, and my garage. The crew got here at 7:00 AM and were cleaning up by 4:00 PM. These guys worked hard, no lounging around. They took a break for lunch and that was it. They also did the job on a Saturday to satisfy my insurance company. Zack, the job manager, did a wonderful job keeping me informed of any problems that were uncovered or to clear confusion. He was great!

Needing a new roof, I had called several contractors and somehow had overlooked TrueHome Roofing. It was during a conversation with one of my employees that I mentioned I needed a new roof and was getting quotes. He immediately told me that I had to call John at TrueHome and have him come out. He told me they just did a great job on his roof and when they were done, his neighbor was so impressed, he had his roof done as well a week later. I called John, he took time out of his night to come over the night I called. John brought samples with him and quickly gave us a quote, he took time to explain everything in detail (others I called just gave me an estimate without ever seeing the roof.) John even mentioned that there was a better quality shingle than the quality one we were looking at for just a few hundred dollars more - none of the other contractors mentioned that (and I was looking at the same shingle manufacturer with them). His crew was amazing, they completely stripped the roof, removed all of the material and completed the new roof in one day! - His crew's attention to detail was exceptional; nothing was overlooked...any place around the dormers where water could have possibly come in was sealed, they also did great job with the drip edge and underlayment. They even took the time to cut smaller individual shingles over the brown aluminum drip edge that the contractor who built the house left it showing (just was one of those small but big attention to detail items that was overlooked before). One week later I saw his crew again down the road doing one of my neighbors homes. I definitely would would recommend them for exceptional customer service, quality and attention to detail as well as the finished product.

UPDATE 2 (2/16/26): I sued CertainTeed, the manufacturer and warranty company due to poor workmanship from TrueHome and won. I’ve also contracted with Golden Group Roofing who repaired TrueHome’s shoddy work along with another issue on our ridge vent. They were great to work with and we will be using them moving forward. I would suggest others do as well.

UPDATE 6/23/25): We have since had another issue with a water leak due to workmanship that the installer admitted upon his own inspection. To make matters worse, the "repair" caused additional problems and the same spot leaked again 5 months later. TrueHome has not honored the warranty, and hasn't responded to us or the shingle company, Certainteed. Certainteed has even informed me that they dropped them as an authorized installer. Avoid these guys at all costs!

We inherited a house with a roof that was put on 2-3 years prior to us moving in and was still under warranty. John from TrueHome (original installer) facilitated the warranty transfer for us. We did experience a leak around a vent boot, and after some back & forth, someone came out and repaired the leak at no cost to us. The back and forth was a bit difficult at times as we weren't the original paying customer, which would warrant something closer to a 2-3 star rating. However, they did ultimately send out their subcontractor to do the work without charging us, and the repair seems to be holding after several snow and rain storms. The result of the work was more like a 4 star rating. I averaged the two and came up with a 3 star rating for now. I'll update this down the road as we'll likely need some siding or gutter work done in the next year or two and will give TrueHome a try.

Very happy with the work done and the professional demeanor of the staff. I have a small home with a small roof so there are probably bigger priority jobs, but they responded to my initial inquiry right away (not all contractors do that, for sure), they gave me a written estimate, and actually fit in the work for my roof earlier than they originally said they could. I would use them again, and would recommend them as well.

My experience with TrueHome was top notch. I was experiencing mold development in my 1920 home due to inadequate ventilation along with minor roof leaks due to improper installation when my home was flipped. John was a great communicator and understood the problem better than the majority of roofers who gave me an estimate. Several other roofers recommended ventilation solutions that would not have fixed the problem. The team at TrueHome replaced half of my roof and installed the proper ridge venting on a gambrel style for a reasonable price. Only TrueHome and one other roofing company recommended the correct ventilation solution. For value, professionalism, worksmanship, and communication I wouldn’t recommend many other roofing companies. I will hire them again if another need arises.

A great local company with a very professional team! I was delighted with how reasonable their roof replacement quote was as compared to my neighbors who recently used a national company for their roof project. TRUEHOME was able to schedule our project quickly and on the project day the crew arrived on-time and immediately set to work. The job foreman kept me well informed throughout the day. The project was completed the same day by the late afternoon including cleanup.

Both jobs were completed in one day and under constant supervision. I'm very pleased with the workmanship, the material and of course, a very good price. I will have no hesitation to recommend True Home Roofing to everyone.

It's taken me a while to write this as it is my first ever negative review but I feel a responsibility to do so. We had our our roof, windows and siding done by Truehome. John was a nice guy and we felt confident that the work would be performed well and professionally. He said that either he or his son would be on the job site daily. They were not. It seems like the jobs were subbed out. That normally isn't a problem. In our case, it was. Our siding has no insulation installed under it so our 200-ish year old home is drafty and cold. (we discussed the need for this insulation during the initial planning/consultations) Our roof was the worst of all. I don't know how to describe the hows and whys of the fact that it was not installed properly. I do know that we have a leaky, buckled roof that needs to be completely replaced. This is a fact that has been verified by 2 other roofing contractors and the town building inspector. As of today, Truehome has not agreed to pay to replace the roof. They did offer us a smaller amount of money that was nowhere near the cost of a new roof. We have had other work done on our home by different contractors since and have been totally satisfied. I'm sharing one picture but trust me when I say that the whole roof looks like this.

I wish i could give 100 stars. From a recent storm, our home was covered with multiple inches of snow-creating an ice dam which broke last night. I called True home roofing at 7am today, the crew arrived at 10 am -and were finished by 12 pm...To my shock they had cleared the entire house and garage of snow and removed the dam-Money well spent! Thank you to alll at True Home roofing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crew did an amazing job of replacing our roof in just one day. The price was reasonable and we had plenty of options for color. The team leader was in touch through the day to make sure we could carry on with our day as usual.

John worked with us on scheduling and kept in touch regarding weather delays. Overall a great experience.

From start to finish, the team was punctual, incredibly professional, and welcoming. We're beyond impressed with the quality of work we received. The whole process went smoothly. The project coordinator/ manager provided clear information about what to expect.

The cleanup at the end of each day of work was thorough and efficient. We had an event at the house scheduled at the end of the last day and they were able to get everything put back in time.
