We came out of a contractor nightmare a month ago that just seems to keep on givin'. I called Home Depot to see if they could assist us with a problem created by our previous porch contractor (who up and quit April 27 when we wouldn't accept the decking he'd ordered and installed that we never approved--taking our $20,000 with him). At Home Depot I had the pleasure of speaking with Damien Gray who listened, took notes, guided, and said he'd make a call to the lumber yard who supplied their product to us at the behest of Contractor #1 to see if he could POSSIBLY mediate the problem so my husband I wouldn't get stuck with a whole bunch of lumber in a color we never approved but Contractor #1 had delivered. (Mind you, this WASN'T Home Depot's error on ANY level.) How often today do you get someone who says, "It's NOT our responsibility but it WAS purchased from us so we'll do whatever is necessary to 'right a wrong' done to a customer"? Damien was there at 7;30am when my husband was in the store; he was there when I called at 5pm which was wonderful--I didn't have to tell our 'bad dream' a second time. Damien was nearing the end of his shift; said he'd be 'off' tomorrow but would likely follow-up on this on Friday. When the phone rang 10 minutes later I was floored, and probably will be for a week. He did all he could and I felt 'heard' and his guidance going forward was 'spot on'. This is what makes me and my family loyal Home Depot customers. They talk the talk.

I had an extremely positive experience with this service and contractor. The installation team was efficient and pleasant and cleaned the work area before leaving! I highly recommend them!

Furnace Tuneup. Completed by a competent technician. No receipt provided nor terms of warranty. My Furnace warranty requires this annual maintenance. I am still waiting for evidence of this service in case of any future warranty claims.

Scheduling was very easy. But the experience was not great. Was told we needed to replace our hvac and heating system...we got two other groups to look at the system and we're told that the system was fine. Felt that we were getting pressured into something that we did not need.

Water heater installation. Before any work began, the cost went up 400 beyond the already high quoted price that was given when I made the appointment. Because I was desperate, had to pay it. The lead plumber was nice. Finished job in less than an hour. So the 3 stars are for the workers.
