Reviews of local pros in West Roxbury, Massachusetts

Brendan did everything he said he would do. He was fast and efficient. He is also polite and very pleasant.

On time and on budget. We had some old trees we had to grind for a new development we put in. Brendan was very knowledge and came out right away. Top notch and veteran owned. Will use again.

Brendan did a great job. Was very communicative before, during and after our stump removal.

Brendan Kelly did everything one can ask of a business: a professional that delivered good results on budget and on schedule. We would certainly use him again.

Had a project with a high degree of difficulty. One company wasnt even interested in giving me a price. Brendan gave me a great price and did a great job. I couldn’t have been happier.

Great overall experience (one large stump removal in a confined city lot). Reliable, very pleasant to interact with, executed exactly as described - and promptly - less than a week after the initial estimate.

Brendan is the guy you need for grinding and excavating a tree stump. He's punctual, professional, experienced and personable. He is careful with any adjacent plants and cleans up everything after he departs. The previous tree cutter ground two stumps just a few inches below the service, which made it near impossible and risky for healthy tree replantation. Brandan toilessly excavated both holes down a few feet. You won't be disappointed!

We had some huge tree branches from our backyard fall during last weeks wind storm causing damage to our fence. Our entire backyard was a safety hazard for our dogs . We called Brendan Kelly from Kelly Stump Grinding & Excavation and he was there within a couple hours . Brendan's team did an amazing job quickly and efficiently cleaning up the debris and cutting the tree . And he gave us a great price . We were very pleased with our entire experience we will definitely use them in the future .

Brendan was great. Very personable and completed the work I was looking to get done in a timely manner. I would suggest this company if looking to get any stump or tree work done. Price was extremely fair.

Brendan did a perfect job of removing the eyesore tree stump at the end of my driveway. 2 bags of quality mulch was a bonus! His communication was great and the price was good. I didn’t realize the necessary steps involved, including the Dig Safe conformation which Brendan took care of. It went smoothly and I appreciated the workmanship.

Wonderful experience with Brendan. I texted him after an Unfortunate episode with a downed tree in the yard. He got right back to me and was able to come the next day to remove the mess. Knowledgeable, kind, and very reasonable - we were extremely grateful for his expertise.

Brendan was an absolute life saver. I needed a tree stump taken out so I could have my patio built, and I spoke to probably four or five different stump removal companies and none of them ever scheduled anything! I stumbled upon Brendan by accident - a coworker recommended one company that didn't service my area, and that company redirected me to him. He was so incredibly responsive; initial contact to job completion turnaround time was four days, which was such a blessing after weeks of no luck. Did a great job, over the course of one morning, and was very nice to my puppies when they went to bother him. Now I am all ready for patio construction!

What a great company. They came out in such short notice and completed the job so quickly. They were responsive and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. Good honest folks

We had a fantastic experience with Kelly Stump Grinding and Excavation! They were professional, prompt, and did an excellent job with both stump grinding and excavation. The team was efficient, respectful of our property, and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend them for any outdoor project—great service from start to finish!

For about a month I tried to find a tree service that would actually remove a stump, meaning actually excavate
It. Many of them proposed grinding down stump but none of them would actually excavate the stump. Then I found Kelly excavation online. Brendan replied immediately to my inquiry. He came to my home that day to inspect the site and gave me a quote for his services the next morning. I had to modify the job and he worked with me, showing flexibility, both with respect to price and time for the job. He then came to my home the next day and did a terrific job. He removed the stump, he left the site looking neat and ready for planting. If you ever need an excavator to do this type of work, this is the company that you want to hire. If I need any other type of excavation work done on my property, this is exactly who I will hire to do it.

Brendan was very responsive and did a thorough job after which he cleaned up the site and made everything look great. I appreciate their hard work timeliness and professionalism. I would recommend them to friends and would use them again.

Brendan was great to work with. Fast efficient and affordable. Great attention to detail and cared for our property as if it was his own. Highly recommend.

First off, I want to note I'm not related. My last name is just a coincidence, and I'm an impartial reviewer here.

With that said, working with Kelly Stump Grinding was a great experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Boston area who needs their services.

When I first called them, it only took a few hours for them to stop by and give me a quote which was very reasonable. It then only took a couple of days for the work to be completed. They were very professional the whole time, and their work is high quality. They did a great job removing my tree stump and making it look nice.

I have used AllGreen for the last 5 years and I have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. My grass is so green and I have no weeds. I highly recommend this wonderful company. The applicators are so friendly and polite too.

I have been very happy with AllGreen, an excellent local company. They even have a “pollinator-friendly” treatment to help control lawn grubs without killing off our bees and butterflies!
And reasonably priced.

Ace, Jeff and Missy are a great team. Their service is reliable and affordable. I have a "city" lawn and have had trouble with keeping it green with minimal watering and maintenance for two decades. All Green has turned it around and made my lawn lush, weed-free and easy to care for. Thanks!
