Tree reviews in Westport, Massachusetts

first I'll say Bruce was a good guy who came out and gave me a good price and a respectable 2-3 week lead time. 7 weeks later my last few messages have gone unanswered and forced me to make other calls and now wait additional weeks to get my job done. they did give me 1 opportunity to get the job done on a random day but I was currently at work and unprepared to be ready for them to do the job with not even a days notice. Very disappointing as they came with a good reccomandation. week after week I was told we "we're working on the schedule for next week to fit you in" Never happened! whether your job is big or small, nobody should be pushed aside. you cant handle the work load be upfront and just say so. 7 weeks wasted and more to come waiting on other companies. Thanks for nothing

We used Nadeau Tree Service for tree removal and tree trimming. They were excellent! On time, professional, hard working, safety conscious and left the yard better than they found it. Would highly recommend!

I recommended to a dear friend (a little while back) that she should reach out to Ryan Nadeau & Co for some emergent work. I have known Ryan for nearly 17 years and I know that their work is second-to-none. She now agrees with me wholeheartedly! Don’t waste time with any other service. I recommend Nadeau Tree Service to everyone!

Ryan and his team exceeded all expectations removing numerous large trees from my property. They were professional, courteous and truly masters of their trade. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again.

We waited 8 weeks after we accepted the estimate from that "OTHER" guy (you may know who 🤔) then we got fed up!

So we called NADEAU tree service and they came out here within only 10 days!
They took down 3 Birch trees and cut the overhang from our neighbor's tree. Wood chipped everything, took it away, ground the stumps and cleaned up.
Reasonably priced and courteous, fast service.
If you need a tree service, call NADEAU first!

They have the "Wow! What great service!" factor.

I tried to get quotes from other tree removal services to remove a 100' tree that was threatening my home and garage. The tree was not accessible from the street. Two vendors said they would come out and evaluate the project and then write a bid but never showed up for the promised walk-through. I gave up on the project and placed it on the back burner.

One day I was driving to make a delivery for my business in a neighboring town. I saw a tree removal project in progress. I was attracted to the cleanliness of the work site as they were completing the removal of 3 tall trees. I pulled over hoping to get a business card and was greeted by the owner of Nadeau Tree Removal supervising his crew. I described my project and its location. We agreed that he would come over to my property for a quote after the end of the 3-day weekend we were heading into. 2 hours later, the owner was on my front lawn after calling me, dressed ready to start his 3-day weekend, but still taking the time to walk through my planned project to develop a quote.

The quote was in my in-box the first business day after the 3-day weekend. The price was competitive. The project was executed flawlessly. No damage to the lot or the surrounding buildings that blocked access to the tree to be removed. I would definitely hire Nadeau Tree Removal again for my future tree removal needs. Thank you for the outstanding service and for the lessons in good customer care.

I called and Ryan came. We walked the property and spoke about the work needed. He gave me a preliminary verbal estimate and said he'd email me the formal estimate. I'm still waiting. It's been weeks. I sent him a text and received no response. I was ready to move forward right away. Very disappointing.

If anybody needs a tree service Nadeau Tree Service does the job right. Professional, safety and quick. It's very impressive to see a crane come in and make small work of a tree that was rotted and in danger of falling. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tree company

We had Nadeau Tree Service come to remove some trees and trim throughout property. They were very punctual, professional and did a terrific job! Highly recommend and will book again in future.

They do a great job but getting them to communicate and get a job on the books after the estimate was way too hard. I was told they would LIKELY be here a certain day and would get a call ahead of time to confirm but received no such call. Given our cars had to be moved it would have been nice to know for sure. Again, once they were here they did a great job at a reasonable price but the front end communication could have been better.

Just had 4 HUGE trees removed from my property. Very happy w the job performed. They returned my call, showed up and gave me a fair estimate, AND were here when they said would be I found Ryan to be professional and personable as well. Nice equipment and knowledgeable about what they do. Its amazing how they could pull trees out of some.of the tight spots they were in and not damage a single thing!!! I can sleep better at night knowing those trees aren't coming down during a storm while I sleep and kill someone Thank you Nadeaus Tree Service. They r worth the call!!!!!

Started calling around to have a couple trees pruned to get rid of some dead limbs and to open up the canopy. Called another local company first and never got a call back. Nadeau called me back within 24 hours and came right out to give a quote right on the spot. The scheduled me for the next week and showed up right on time. I wasn't home while they did there work, but was very happy with it all when i came home. Although there was an accident while they were working that resulted in some damage to an outdoor chair, once I alerted Bruce, he took care of it within the day- showing up with a brand new replacement. Accidents happen and they handled it RIGHT! I would 100% use them again.

This company did such a great thorough job and they were very professional and conscientious. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Their prices were extremely competitive and they executed exactly what they said they would do! Losing all our trees due to a storm was upsetting and depressing and their swiftness and attention to detail helped to deal with it.

I hired them to remove a few dead trees in my yard. They did remove the trees without too much damage to my property, however I have a few gripes:
- i requested that they leave a few of the downed trees so I could chop them for firewood; they agreed to do so, but did not do it
- i requested that they leave wood chips from their cuttings; again they agreed to do it, but did not do it
- one of the workers left several empty nip bottles on my lawn. right where they were using one of the machines. I don't care about the trash but I do care about drunk guys operating heavy equipment on my lawn. I called to let the owner know (and i specifically said that i wasn't mad, and was just looking out for his business) and he INSISTED that it COULDNT HAVE BEEN HIS GUYS and that someone must have thrown them into the yard (not probable or even possible given where i found the bottles).

so yeah you can hire them and they will probably do the job OK, but some of the guys are possibly drunk and the owner will gaslight you about it

Ron came to give an estimate on a tree in a family members yard. The tree is touching the house. Ron explained what could be done, and gave recommendation. He was very polite and professional, unfortunately they have decided to keep the tree.

I highly recommend Nadeau Tree Service. They are professional, fairly priced and do excellent work. I called them in the past for tree trimming and most recently tree removal. They did an awesome job both times. It was amazing to see the level of knowledge, skill and experience needed to safely remove a large tree. I will definitely call them for any future tree service.

I had 4 trees removed in a narrow space between my house and my neighbors, but this was no problem for Nadeau Tree Service. Unbelievable job, fast and professional. They have the proper equipment and a skilled crew. Highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Just want to thank Ryan and his team for a quick and professional job they did.

Great experience! Answered my call right away, came out same day to give a quote which was very reasonable, Only had to wait about a week which is fast. The crew was awesome did a great job. Cleaned up very well. Very safety conscious and professional operation. I recommend Nadeau to everyone!

I highly recommend Nadeau Tree Service. They have done a few jobs for us both residential and commercial. Not only are they very professional, they are efficient and always gets the job done. Hands down the best tree service company around. I would recommend them to EVERYONE. Ryan, the owner, is not afraid to get out on the work site and work side by side with his employees.

Nadeau Trees did an awesome job! Talk about teamwork! These 4 guys had the removal of 12 of our trees down to a science. They each knew their job, and when and where to be depending on how far in the process of the removal they were in. They were earlier than scheduled, and worked straight through for 7-8 hours, only stopping for a quick lunch break on a torrential rainy morning. I highly recommend them to everyone!
