Scott was awesome! I live in an old home with ancient wiring. Scott came in to replace 2 ceiling fixtures—which he did quickly and efficiently—then assessed the state of the electrical system in the home and made various recommendations to modernize it. Scott clearly cares about his clients. He’s the kind of small business owner who enjoys helping folks in his community and takes pride in his work—the kind of business we should all be aiming to support with our patronage.

The service from Colonial Electric was outstanding! I called to have them come out to look at everything and they were there within a week and scheduled the work for a few days later. Scott walked me through the different options and what each one would cost and explained the difference between the work that he would do for each option. Once everything was done he showed me all of the work and made sure everything was working before leaving. I will definitely call them again if I ever need any electrical work done

We had a fantastic experience working with Scott and the Colonial Electric team. Our project was fairly complex, and he handled every detail with skill and care — even coordinating and taking care of the painters and insulation so we didn’t have to juggle multiple contractors. He communicated clearly throughout, was efficient, and worked around our schedules. It’s obvious he takes great pride in his work, and the results show it. Highly recommend!

Sean really bailed me out yesterday. I called him on a Sunday morning and he was extremely polite, responsive and pleasant. I was amazed that he answered the phone on a Sunday and came out to help with my emergency. He definitely is an excellent electrician but he also is very friendly and compassionate. His charges were very reasonable. Bottom line - If you need an electrician, you should call Sean and you will be very happy. Thanks

Jason and his apprentice were on time, understood my concerns and what I needed fixed. They were able to come up with a plan and made it happen! I think they are secretly magicians! Very impressed with their skill and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Showed up on time on the day promised. Did the work. Reviewed the work with me. Even used a vacuum to clean up after himself. Affordable price. Good work. Aces all around for Sean. Happy to have a go to electrician now.

We lost power to a section of our house and Sean had his team come out the same day to repair it. The guys were great and had our problem fixed in a couple hours, and Sean came by himself during the job to check on the issue and repairs. We plan on calling SC Electric for any future electrical services.

Contacted and hired Sean Conroy to perform large amount of electrical work. I should have known from the beginning it was a mistake…started with poor communication and lack of response from Sean regarding the work. Quality of work subpar, work unfinished. Ended up hiring another electrician to complete job. Sean was unreliable, unprofessional and irresponsible.

I had a frozen attic pipe burst resulting in water damage in my kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway. For the electrical part of the renovation, I used Sean Conroy Electric.
Sean is totally professional, yet empathetic and friendly. He told me he would do his best to get me back in my home as soon as possible. He was true to his word, and what I appreciated most was his philosophy of giving a total upfront evaluation and estimate with no extra fees at the completion (unless you request extra work to be done in the process beyond the original estimation). Great crew including Sean, Jason, and Russ who all worked on my home. If I were to use one word to describe Sean’s service it would be integrity ~ cannot ask for better than that!

Sean came out and looked at a job for me. He said he would go pull a permit and let me know. So I canceled a few appointments with other electricians. Well a few weeks later I text Shawn and got no response. A few more text and no response. Finally got a response on Facebook. I wouldn't recommend him.

Contacted Sean for a # of items, including repair & bringing garage electrical up to code & new doorbell system. Very responsive, explained what was needed & why, very professional and efficient. Sean was very honest and didn’t try to up charge me at all. He came the next day and took care of everything I asked. I will definitely be using him as my go to electrician in the future.

UPDATE for most recent (April 2025) work: this was to install recessed lights & all needed wiring. Two workers arrived at the scheduled time. They were very courteous and professional in all their work. When work was done, they perfectly cleaned up after themselves (as expected, lots of dust everywhere due to ceiling holes so they did quite well in the cleanup!). I will most certainly continue to use SC Electric Corp for all our electric needs!

Have used Sean before (2023) and def 5 STARS for that work! This was for a quick follow up: Arrived at scheduled time, completed task in a timely manner, cleared all debris from job. Professional in the manner which the job was addressed and completed. Will continue to use SC Electric Corp for any and all electric work!

Excellent service. Jake was waiting for me when I arrived home right about noon. I kept in touch with him by text. He took his time removing a ceiling fan/light. Assembling the new one then installing it.. I will definitely use your service again and recommend you.
