Our experience with Felix and Caban’s Heating was phenomenal! His professionalism, communication , transparency and technical skills are all top notch. We’ve had ongoing issues with our High Efficiency Boiler that were never properly resolved by others and felt like we were feeding a bottomless money pit. Felix changed all that. He did an outstanding job and gave us confidence that our problem is actually fixed. Not only did Felix quickly identify and fix the problem, he did so for a very reasonable price. I was recommended Caban Heating from a prior customer and couldn’t be happier with the result. Our gas boiler heating went out while we were about to bring a newborn into the home right as winter is about to begin. Felix came over immediately and diagnosed the issue and was then able to get the parts necessary to fix the issue in a very timely fashion. Now our heating system is working better than ever, and right before the cold ever became an issue at a very reasonable price. My family thanks them for the help and Caban heating will now be my preferred heating repair company going forward and I have confidence in his company to fix issues that come up effectively, timely, and reasonably.

I cannot say enough good things about Cabanas! For years, I relied on the same company to service my furnace and handle emergencies. However, when I desperately needed help recently, they didn’t even return my calls—even as a loyal customer.

Felix understood the urgency of my situation—no heat, no hot water—and fit me into his schedule the very next day, despite what I’m sure is his busiest time of year. He was responsive to my calls and texts, kept me updated on his ETA, and arrived at my house at 8 PM after working all day.

Within two hours, he had everything repaired and running smoothly. What truly stood out was his fairness—he didn’t take advantage of my desperation and charged a very reasonable price for both fixes.

Findinding my furnace not working at the worse time when cold. Your service rep Nathan arrived at my house and immediately made me his partner in trouble shooting my problem. I bought a home this summer with a nightmare oil furnace. The furnace would only work for 2 weeks and then stop working. I had 2 different repair techs come out who replaced parts over and over but furnace still stop working after 2 weeks. Eventually I got ahold of Felix and explained my situation, he came out same day and figured out what the issue was after some investigation. Felix is extremely knowledgeable, caught many issues previous techs didn't recognize or ignored. Unfortunately the part is hard to find but Felix was able to find it and get it installed. Furnace is working great now and I'm happy that I didn't need a new furnace! Don't hesitate if you need work done right give Felix a call, he's very knowledgeable and affordable

Felix went above and beyond! He first took the time to troubleshoot my boiler issue over the phone at no charge. When it turned out a small part needed to be replaced, he arrived within just a few hours — during a blizzard, no less! He fixed everything in under an hour. Truly fantastic service. Highly recommend!

This review is so overdue...2 weeks ago my heat went out on a Thursday night. The temp was dropping quickly. When I went to bed it was 54 degrees. Before I fell asleep, I was Googling plumbers who dealt w/gas furnace. I found Caban and sent a "Good Morning" email with my issue. I found the reviews quite positive and more importantly, the fact that Felix responded back to ppl. Felix texted me back that night to my genuine surprise! He asked a few questions then said that he would fit me in in the morning. By morning, My house was at 44 degrees! Felix text me a little before 8am for my address and came over. After apologizing profusely for my basement, Felix got to work, figured out the issue and fixed it! I helped by running around to all the rooms a couple of times to make sure there was no water leaking from any of the pipes/baseboards. Felix was awesome and such a nice gentleman! I think I have found myself a plumber for the future. I totally would recommend Felix/Caban to anyone.

Never got a call back..waste of time

I gave Ryan Camerlin $3085 to complete a list of electrical projects. The same evening he had finished, I discovered that the work was either done incorrectly or weren't done at all.

For examples, none of the landscape lights he was asked to replace, were replaced at all. And, none of the motion detectors worked properly. Lights would go on and off without any motion. He also didn't replace four of the thermostats as agreed upon in the projects list.

What made it worst, was that when I contacted him to come complete the work, he kept rescheduling or didn't show up at all after I had adjusted my work schedule to meet with him. He finally stopped returning my texts altogether.

I filed a complaint against him with the Mass AG for deceptive practices and working without a license. There is also currently a suit pending against him for nearly $5000.

When I contracted J. S. Electric, Inc. to meet a deadline for some interior electrical issues that needed updating.
Geoff was professional and explained the process. He took care of it and everything is now up to code.

JS Electric never paid our bill, Geoff Steil ran from the Hampton County Sheriffs 20 times to avoid being served the small claims suit. Now we have a judgment and he is refusing to pay the court ordered judgment.
Let this marinate a while, this is how he runs his business

We had Jeff come over to ground our new pool. He was very accommodating with his schedule, he gave us a complete breakdown of what exactly needed to be done. He explained everything in terms I could understand. The pool was grounded and inspected expediently and we were enjoying the pool in no time.

I hired Jeff to perform high level electrical work on a job that another contractor did not complete. The job had a time sensitive component that would have resulted in significant damages to me had it not been completed timely. Jeff mobilized his team to get the project done in a complete and timely fashion. His professionalism, efficiency and work product was unprecedented throughout the entire process. Therefore, I would strongly recommend JS Electric for your electrical contractor needs.
