I can see why he has no reviews. Met the owner working next to my property today. I'm a Realtor and wanted to inquire about some work for a client. He was so rude to me, I could never refer him to anyone!

Dear Owner,
Honestly, I think your arrogant and mocking tone in response to my review will convince most potential home owners to think twice before wanting to get you involved in a project.

Your “arborist” response implies I interrupted you in the middle of cutting down a tree. I did not. You and a worker were removing and chipping previously downed branches (that EverSource had cut down the night before) when I walked over to the edge of my property (some of the downed branches were on my property too) and waited quietly for about five minutes in hopes to speak to you. When it was obvious you were not going to acknowledge or speak to me. I smiled and waved asking if I could speak to you. You rudely and in a mean-spirited way, said NO and that if I wanted to speak to you to come back when you had finished the clean up. You are correct in saying I was offended, but it was your arrogant and rude demeanor that was offensive. You could have just said in a professional manner that it was a bad time and could have offered to stop by when you were finished.

Next, you obviously have me confused with someone else. I have never hired you. And I would never have tried to get any of my neighbors trees cut down. In fact my wife and I love all of the shade they provide and at times have even encouraged our neighbors to try and save various trees! (Just ask them!)

Last, ending your response that I call myself a tycoon is a quite baffling. I've always identified myself simply as a Realtor. (btw - I'm also an attorney, but you would not know that as I never try to impress anyone by mentioning it). You on the other hand, (I think without even realizing it) started your response by haughtily mentioning your “arborist” status painting the impression I was interrupting you in the middle of taking down a tree rather than simply clearing branches .

I wish you no ill will (and I hope maybe you were just having a bad day), but having zero positive Google Reviews for someone who has been in business for DECADES (yes, I checked) speaks volumes and I think helps make my point on why I could never refer you to anyone.

I had my carpet cleaned today and was assigned a worker from Hartford Carpet Upholstery Cleaning although I had called the number for W.C. Carpet Care. The person came the same day I called and did a good job cleaning, given that there were some difficult spots, although not all of the spots came out despite several tries. When it came time to pay, he said that if I paid by check, I would have to make the check out to him, not his company, so I said I would charge the amount. He got very pushy about it, particularly when I said I wanted an invoice with the amount and asked why his name and address were not on the invoice that I finally got. As a result of his attitude, I did not give him a tip which caused even more unpleasantness. I would not recommend either company.

The tech gave us some excellent information to maintain our clean carpets, and it's best to get them cleaned every 6 months...no comment on how long since the last time.We are excited for our newly cleaned carpets. and will be sure to schedule again.

Recent had my sofa cleaned with W. C. Carpets Care. Just wanted to leave a good words. Appointment was easy. The tech did an excellent job with my sofa. What impress me the most was a follow up phone call and mail to ensure satisfaction with service. Nice!
