I cannot say enough good things about this place. Given the pandemic and all the talk of victory gardens, I was afraid that garden centers would be picked over and chaotic by the beginning of the holiday weekend. So I started my plant search at a big box garden center thinking they would have more selection, staff, and safety. Boy was I wrong! Not only did the big box store have tight, crowded aisles, but the staff was not masked in close quarters with masked customers, and their plants were dry, sick, and expensive! Enter McCue. Not only did they have an enormous assortment of beautiful, healthy annual flats, herbs, and vegetables, but they were extremely conscientious about giving everybody space and enforcing touchless checkout. I'm still getting used to wearing and seeing everybody in masks, and the fact that the staff was as covered up as the customers made me feel comfortable for once about this whole situation and realize that McCue really cares about its customers. I am proud of the staff and happy that I supported this business. The plants are gorgeous and reasonably priced. I will be using McCue for all of my gardening needs going forward.

I was very pleased on on this visit. They have a phenomenal selection of plants and some very knowledgeable people to help you find what you need. You could easily spend hours. We visited the day the Georgia peach truck was up from Georgia and got some phenomenal peaches. if you have a project for landscaping or need some specific yard advice this is the place to go and get it.

flowers, shrubs, etc are exceptional. People who work there are even more exceptional. Been to so many garden places and this is my one stop garden shopping spot for the last several years because of staff and quality of plants. Cannot express how great this place is. Please do yourself a great favor and at least stop by to investigate. You'll love it.

This is my GO-TO garden center. I love the fact the owner walks around and still services customers and the staff are always so helpful. They are also a family run business and I love supporting them. They have a stunning collection of succulents and indoor plants as well as beautiful arrangements for any size pot. Only complaint is pricing of succulents went up big time and the air plants are at a minimum now :(

McCue garden center is AMAZING! Seemingly endless greenhouses with the best variety of indoor and outdoor plants and trees. They have a really unique collection of planters, gifts and garden art. Absolutely worth the trip from Boston!

McCue Garden Center sells nothing but the best and highest quality nursery stock in New England. Nobody, and I mean, nobody, can compare. I love going there even when there's no need for any particular annual, perennial or shrub I might need. It's, as I always refer to it, "My Happy Place". Great employees also.

They always have a huge selection of beautiful flowers! Staff is attentive and helpful. Ana put together a gorgeous custom bouquet which my wife is going to love for Mother’s Day!! Highly recommend

I recently visited and purchased potting soil and got great advice from the staff member. The staff remembered me coming in a year and half ago when I had brought in my houseplant with questions about its new growth. The staff member shared that they had been wondering how my plant was doing and were hoping to hear from me and see how it was doing. I’m so glad to shop locally at a garden center where staff are so personable and kind with customers.

Went to McCue’s for some spring flowers and the staff could not have been more helpful. A senior staff person created a beautiful arrangement for a large flower box. Great advice and service. Excellent, healthy plants all sold at a fair price.

Little did I know until later, that the "senior staff member" my wife and were working with was the business owner. She literally "got her hands dirty" helping us with our flower box.

Don’t come for propane unless absolutely necessary, staff was helpful to a point , cashier was visibly irritated and unhelpful. Not worth the $20 flat fee no matter how empty the tank is

I just went in today and got great help from the owner for a fiddle leaf tree I bought there. She was patient and took time to answer ALL my questions. This is very important to me. Make sure if you buy this tree you find out how to properly care for it, what kind of dirt if replanting etc.
I actually love going there because they have everything, fun holiday items and such healthy plants.

Great plant selection and reasonable prices. They also offer their own bagged mulch if you want a quantity too small to have delivered. Their plant "guarantee" is only 24hrs, which isn't as good as the bigger chains and was a bit of a pain when two forsythias died shortly after i purchased them. But, I personally still think the plant quality is really high and it hasn't dissuaded me from supporting the store.

McCue is friendly, beautiful, and covid safe. I was so happy to find out that they have seed potatoes! Couldn't help but bring home some lovely tulips as well.
