Electrical reviews in Worcester, Massachusetts

Will and Tawny were great to work with. System up and running smoothly.
-
Omar was great. I’m always anxious about home improvement decisions. He was very patient and worked hard to come up with a plan I feel good about.
-
It was reassuring to work with Shane, who helped tremendously with the roofer, which was needed prior to solar installation. Looking forward to a low electric bill in the future.

As someone else stated, do not use Lunex if you live in MA. Each step is like pulling teeth to get a response. At one point I needed to send 4 follow up emails and 2 phone calls to get a response... only for the response to be "we are working on an update for you." Basic communication of information, timelines and next steps would have gone a long way.
On a positive note, the install went well and the panels look good. Hopefully they will be functional soon. I was promised an update today which never came... shocker. -
Too many issues
1. The installed panels were NOT screwed in the roof beams, they can be loose. Lowsy work.
2. They installed REC450 instead of 460 that was promised.
3. They dont pick up the calls and no reply on the emails that I sent to raise concerns about the above two points.
Very unprofessional. -
I was connected to Lunex through their partnership with East Coast Metal Roofing (ECMR), as an installer that maintains the roof warranty. Brad, Katie, and Andrew at Lunex were all fantastic to work with throughout the process.
Brad walked me through the quote, the options, how many panels we could fit (and the layout), and an estimate of how much coverage that would get us. The handoff between ECMR and Lunex in the work process was seamless.
Before the install, unfortunately the specific panels that we had ordered weren't available, but Lunex instead provided me with the slightly higher powered option at no additional cost.
Any time I needed to reach out to the team, they were always prompt to respond.
Katie was amazing, navigating delays that arose through the city's and Eversource's side of the process (signing off on inspection so things could move to Eversource for Permission to Operate, and then waiting on Eversource to respond to the PTO), with Andrew even going in person to the city to help push the process along at one point. Katie did her best to try to keep the process between them and the city and them and Eversource, rather than it having to be on my plate, which I truly appreciate.
Once those barriers were overcome, within an hour or so of getting permission to operate, my panels were on and I had access to the account for the app, allowing me to monitor my system. -
Lunex installed a great system at a better price. Very easy to understand. It's fun to watch consumption and savings in real time!

First of all I want to thank Will for his great help and efforts, he was very quick to respond to our inquiries and concerns. He immediately acted positively and we were so happy for his kindness and support.
Our solar system supposed to be in action few months ago but for some technical issues which took long time to process. Now our solar system is working good and we hope to see the results of reducing our bill in no time.. -
Delivered as promised during the crazy busy fall of 2026 just before the federal tax credit ended. Contract in early September and installation in mid-November. High quality work. Inspection took longer than expected due to the crush of customers but Lunex shifted some personnel to MA and by the end of January the system is powered up! Thank you!

My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare.
The quoting process went smoothly in late July, and I was explicitly guaranteed that I would have PTO by January 1 so I could qualify for tax credits. Based on that assurance, I moved forward and completed the loan applications they provided. When the loan process began dragging on, I offered to switch to paying cash to keep things moving. They told me not to worry and assured me we were still on schedule.
Eventually, they scheduled my installation for December 1. I was skeptical, but once again they insisted PTO would still happen on time. On 12/1, an install crew showed up for only half a day and installed just the battery. They couldn’t finish and said they’d come back. The solar installers claimed it was “too icy” to continue.
They rescheduled for two weeks later — and then never showed up. From that point on, it was chaos. I called repeatedly. Sometimes they sent people who said they couldn’t complete the job by themselves. Other times they showed up without the proper equipment, or didn’t even know why they had been sent to my house.
The week before New Year’s, I called and said very clearly that this was not going to be completed on time. At that point, they changed their story and told me PTO wasn’t even required for the tax credit — that installation alone was enough. I pushed back, pointing out that the system wasn’t even installed: the panels weren’t electrically connected and the battery wasn’t connected to my house. They promised to send someone else.
The next day, I called again only to find out they were closed for winter break — with no warning. Just an email saying they wouldn’t be back until January 4.
Fast forward to today (2/18). An inspection was scheduled, and once again, Lunex was a no‑show — leaving frustrated inspectors and, unsurprisingly, no progress. As of now, I still do not have PTO.
This company repeatedly missed deadlines, sent unprepared crews, provided misleading information, and showed a complete lack of communication and accountability. If you care about timelines, professionalism, or actually getting a working system, do not do business with this company. -
The install process was a bit bumpy and convoluted, with some occasional prodding required by us to keep everything on track.
However, we finally got our solar panel system installed, and Will was great at showing us how to use the app to monitor the system and answer our questions! Looking forward to generating some power and finally slashing our electric bills. -
Lunex Power made my solar process smooth. After reaching out to Lunex Power directly, I was put in contact with their direct sales person, Brian B. Brian did a fantastic job! I've worked in sales and know what it takes. Brian was responsive and addressed all my questions quickly and thoroughly. He designed a system that met my requirements. Something I can't say for the other 5 solar companies I had contacted before Lunex. It was a great start on this solar journey. After signing the contract I received a call right away to begin the process. First up was the site survey. During the site survey Tyler D. confirmed my electrical panel was up to standards, the roof pitch as well as my roof structure was strong enough for solar. After that, the design team put together the documentation package to be submitted for permits and my electrical utility to review for permission to install. Once the permits were received, the installation was scheduled quickly. The installation team arrived as scheduled and completed the installation quickly. They answered all my questions and clean up afterwards. Now the arduous part, inspections. You're at the mercy of your inspectors schedule. It took over 6 weeks from installation until my utility company installed the Net Meter and Permission to Operate (PTO) was issued. Everything was sequential. First, Fire inspection, then Electrical inspection, then the Building inspection. Finally over to the Utility for final review and Net meter installation. But Lunex Power does a great job keeping you informed throughout each milestone with emails and text messages. You just have to be patient. The Lunex Portal where you're supposed to be able to track your project, see major project updates and see my contract info as well as access all documents didn't work after the initial Site Survey and Engineering phase. It's a nice idea, but was useless for my project. It would have been nice to have this, but Lunex Power does such a nice job or keeping you informed throughout the process, that the Portal was not necessary. Then after the Net meter is installed and the PTO is issued, Lunex activates your solar system remotely. Finally, the last step is that Lunex makes sure that you have created your Enphase account to monitor your new solar system. This is done through the Enphase website and/ or the Enphase Enlighten App. Will G. from Lunex schedules a virtual meeting to go over these monitoring features and answer your questions on your new solar system. Overall from signing the contract to PTO took 3 months, 14 days. And it took 3 months, 29 days from when I first reached out to Lunex Power until PTO.

I can’t recommend Robert and Mike’s Electrical highly enough—especially if you’re facing the daunting task of replacing knob and tube wiring in an older home. My house is over 100 years old, and the scope of the project felt completely overwhelming at first. But Robert and Mike came in with professionalism, a clear game plan, and the kind of calm confidence that immediately put me at ease.
They were punctual, organized, and communicated consistently with both me and my tenant throughout the process. What really impressed me was how they used newer technology in creative ways—like installing remote-controlled lighting in the hallways—which not only modernized the space but saved us from having to cut dozens of holes into the plaster walls and ceilings.
They made what could’ve been a stressful, disruptive process feel manageable and even smooth. Whether you’re dealing with the complexities of knob and tube or just need a trusted team for an electrical job, these are your guys. I'd call them again in a heartbeat. -
I can't applaud these folks enough, and I've called them several times in the past few months. Bob and team were transparent, honest, thorough, expedient, and reliable. When we were investigating a surge event that zapped several appliances, they called out bigger issues that another service didn't even notice, but that could have become dangerous (and this was affirmed by National Grid folks as well as other contractors who provided much higher estimates). They do a great job and are very helpful in explaining the scope of the work. Their Office Manager, Madison, too, is a true MVP! Super responsive and supportive, especially when we needed documentation to file with insurance.
