We are very pleased with whole Summit Point process regarding the purchase and installation of our new roof. We purchase this home only a few months ago with the full knowledge that the 24 year old roof was in need of replacement, a process which I had never experienced previously. We obtained quotes from 4 well known and reputable roofing contractors including Summit Point. The quote which we received from Summit Point was not only the most competitive price wise, but also the most detailed. In addition, the Summit point warranty was the best. As an added plus, Summit Point, as a "Michigan Saves" approved contractor, greatly facilitated this easy to navigate loan process which we chose to take advantage of.
The knowledgeable and personable staff of Summit Point that guided us through this entire process were always immediately responsive to our inquiries and needs. They would include our sales representative Jasen Fernsler; Our project manager, Dave Andersen and the project scheduler Stacey Heeren. Great Experience! The crew showed up bright and early at 7am and were all cleaned up and gone by 2pm! The crew was fast, respectful, and cleaned up really well. The onsite project manager took extra care to make sure everything was taken care of properly. After the job was done, tons of pictures were sent over to show the progress of the project and what was done.

The roofing crew was so efficient and they even cleaned up! Rob from Summit answered all my questions and Jasen, Ben & Stacey were right on with communication. I recommend this company highly.

Summit Point was prompt in providing a quote. On site, the crew leader was attentive to the details. They cleaned up well and the roof looks amazing and was completed in a day.

SPR had replaced my roof previously but was having issues with water coming off the roof in an area that didn’t have gutters. They sent someone out and installed a diverter at no charge. Really appreciated it.

Granted our house is smaller, but to do a total tear off and complete roof with some OSB sheath replacement in a 1/2 day and clean up, impressive to say the least. Highly recommend.

We recently had our 45-degree pitch A-Frame roof replaced by Summit Point and are very satisfied with the results. The standard tear-off and replacement included several OSB boards. The OC Black Sable shingles look great in our woodland setting, and the cleanup was thorough the day after installation.

A special commendation goes to the follow-up flashing work on our chimney: After a slight miscommunication on the method of work for installing the flashing, our sales consultant Dan Tresslar ensured the chimney flashing was reworked beautifully. Jon Q., Jon B., and Bert used their masonry skills and rock-chimney expertise to create a flashing that blends our roof seamlessly into our rocky chimney (in the image). It's worth noting, the chimney did not have flashing before and was bumpy/rocky all the way to the shingle face, so there was a considerable amount of effort put into grinding down rocks and placing mortar. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a roofing project involving similar circumstances to ask for these specialists.

I didn’t speak much with the initial roof/shingle installers, but Jon, Bert, and Dan gave us confidence that our new roof will withstand the elements for decades while maintaining its aesthetic appeal.

Compared to other quotes we received I would say the pricing was very reasonable with thoughtful details for each cost.

From my initial phone call inquiry to meeting with (Josh) the sales representative my experience was totally positive. Josh was very knowledgeable about his products and explained all the choices and various qualities with no B.S, no hype, and most important to me no pressure! Josh had my best interest at heart, and what he told me is exactly what I expected and received. The project coordinator (Stacey) kept us informed of what to expect and when it would happen, and that is exactly the way the job progressed.
The day the installation crew showed up (6:30 am) 12 men went right to work protecting our property, our home, our landscape, and immediately we were impressed as they showed up and done the work exactly as we were told it would be.
At the end of the day the old shingles were stripped off, a few bad pieces of plywood replaced, and almost 40 squares of new shingles installed exactly as we were told it would be. The job supervisor and the crew leader were in constant communication with the workers ensuring total quality of workmanship. As a 40-year retired Building Contractor I could not be happier with the entire process on my own home. And I would not hesitate to have Summit Point Roofing work on my home again. I highly recommend them.

A wonderful experience with roofing who completed our whole and very difficult roof in an amazing two days including a great cleanup. Jeremy was so helpful and Landon and Alex who were in charge of the job were so good and so friendly as were all the guys. We still have some soffit work to fix but I would highly recommend Summit. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Summit Point Roofing and our new roof! This roof installation was an extremely complicated project, which included tear off of 3 layers of shingles-with the bottom layer, 124 year old cedar shakes! Additionally, our house is almost 3 stories tall, the roof has a steep pitch with multiple sections, a turret (that Summit Point Roofing had to repair) and we share a driveway with our neighbors. There was nothing easy about this project! For those reasons, some roofers didn't even want to give us a quote or take on the project. I was happy to hear that Summit Point Roofing had experience with these types of roofs and I was even happier, when I saw the quote! Summit Point Roofing was great at communicating every step of the way, helping us know what to expect, and answering all of my questions, to help alleviate my stress related to this project. I was really impressed with the professionalism of this company on all levels and with all aspects of this project. The roofers are hard workers who put in some long days at our house to finish the roof on schedule, in less than 4 days! The team did a great job cleaning up our property and being considerate of the neighbors, as well. The roof looks fantastic and soon after it was finished, we got to test it out during a storm.
