my apartment was never cleaned. two teens came in and did absolutely nothing. the owner keeps threatening me and even said he would make a police report. I'm so mad! he even called me on mothers day. im a single mom with. two toddlers, I can't afford to pay for a service that wasn't completed. awful service and even worse owner. save yourself the headache.

I had been looking for someone to clean my home when I saw one of their vehicles. I called and scheduled a cleaning. Their staff showed up timely and professionally dressed. I was very pleased with the level of service and more than satisfied with the end result. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone I know!

I was extremely unimpressed with the level of service that I received with my cleaning. Floor, cabinets, and appliances were still very much dirty, as I noticed many visible spots still on the floor that I had to scrub myself, the backsplash and cabinets still dirty and toilets not adequately washed. Appears that they just used a dirty rag to wipe down the house. I paid $90 extra to have the refrigerator, oven and cabinets cleaned and found myself having to wash the sides of the fridge to remove dirt/spots, along with the fronts of the cabinets. I expected so much more from a professional cleaning company and do not believe the level of service is valued anywhere near the $300 I paid for the service. Disappointed I'll have to go back and clean the house myself anyways. DO NOT recommend.

We LOVE using MaidPro! They have done such a great job for us. Not only are they thorough when they clean but they pay attention to the little things that matter. For example, when I came home one day after a cleaning my daughter's little animals were having a tea party at the table and another baby was tucked neatly into bed. Most recently Rita noticed a small mess in another area of the house (that I hadn't asked her to clean) and took care of it without prompting. I finally get to spend more time enjoying my family and having fun rather than stressing over cleaning the house. Thank you MaidPro!

Amazing! Seriously. They answered the phone (which is a huge deal since many have to call you back), was able to service the house very quickly, and did an amazing job! Grace even called me the following day to inquire how we liked the clean. Such a professional company and very reasonably priced.

Regina and Zena cleaned our house this year and did an excellent job. They are professional, on time, and courteous. We always look forward to coming home to our clean house after they have been there.

I called a week ago and spoke to a very helpful lady, and we scheduled recurring visits starting 4/7. She took my credit card info.

On the evening of 4/6, I was catching up on e-mails, and saw one from "Duane." It was very rude and said they'd been trying to reach me to confirm my cleaning.
1) I don't answer unknown numbers because I get scam calls about 20x a day. They left NO VOICEMAILS.
2) I called them the evening of 4/6 and left a message saying that (obviously) I still wanted the service, since I scheduled it and paid for it already.
3) I called the morning of 4/7 and said I hadn't heard from them, yes I still wanted the service, and asked if they were coming this morning. The dude immediately started YELLING at me that he "WAS IN THE OFFICE WHEN THEY CALLED ME!!!!" I said "Did you leave a voicemail?" and he screamed "MA'AM WE WILL ONLY SCHEDULE PEOPLE THAT WORK WITH US MA'AM AND IF YOU DON'T WORK WITH US WE WILL SCHEDULE OTHER PEOPLE!!!!!" I yelled back "DID YOU LEAVE A VOICEMAIL?" and he hung up on me. What an absolute nightmare of a company. Save your money and save your time.

Edited to add: Look at his response to me below, acting as if I just totally made it up that he yelled at me. Read his responses to other bad reviews as well.
He called me after I left the original review, and I said I would NEVER work with his company because he was so rude. He hung up on me again.

We have been using Maidpro Berkley for a few months now for our home. Very pleased with the cleanings, very thorough and professional. Shantell is our primary cleaner and does a wonderful job. We always look forward to cleaning day!

York is one of the most professional business owners and is extremely thoughtful for his customers. I absolutely enjoyed MaidPro's service and felt lucky to be able to know York and Rita. I would like to recommend them to anyone who is looking for house cleaning services.

I am so glad that I switched to Maidpro. I have had previous companies clean my house and have 2 pros for 4 hours and my house was still dirty. With Maidpro the 2 pros were in and out in an hour and 15 minutes and my house was spotless! Effective and efficient! I’ll never go back.

Maidpro did a FABULOUS job cleaning our home. The attention to detail in every corner of our house was awesome (all of the spots that I would usually brush over…oops). Everything sparkled when they were done! It's a great feeling knowing that everything is clean and taken care of. We have a lot of marble in our house, and they made sure to take extra care in using the gentlest of cleansers on all of that. I would highly recommend Maidpro! You will not be disappointed.

We have been using MaidPro for several years. We have tried other services but MaidPro is by far the best we have had. They are always on time and thorough. They are also very easy to work with if you need to make a date change. We have had Kourtney for a long time and love her!

My husband and I hired Maid Pro in Berkley about 3 months ago. The first cleaning was supposed to be a 'deep clean" when we got home we were not happy with the cleaning at all as we noticed areas that were clearly missed. We decided to call and let them know the areas that we were not happy with. They were very responsive and assured us they would fix it next time. So we decided to give them another chance. The second time that they cleaned our house was just okay.. nothing special and still missed some areas of the house. We still wanted to see if they got better so we allowed them to come back for the third time. We have a camera in our kitchen so I decided to log into the camera and see what was going on. I saw the one girl texting on her phone for about 10 minutes (which we pay by the hour not by the job) so I wasn't very happy about this. I then watched her go and sit down on our coach and start texting again for another 5 minutes and then she made a phone call to someone. The other girl asked how she should clean our rugs (they are shag rugs) so the girl that was sitting on our coach doing nothing called someone from corporate to see how they should clean our rugs (again wasting valuable time since they only clean our house for an hour and half) They finally figured how to clean our rugs so the girl on the couch told the other girl how to and she said I quote "there are a total of 8 rugs you don't need to clean them thoroughly you just need to clean them so they look like they have been vacuumed" This statement makes total sense for me because anytime they cleaned our house it was never thoroughly, you could just tell that they went through the motions. At this cleaning they also use the wrong vacuum on our hard wood floors and we ended up with scratches everywhere. I also didn't like that every time they cleaned our house we have 2 different girls, we never had the same cleaners. Even though they told us that one of the cleaners would always be the same. I wouldn't recommend Maid Pro to anyone. If you don't have camera's in your house you definitely shouldn't go with this company because you cant trust that they are actually cleaning.

Amazing company! We hired them right before the holidays, as I am 4 months regnant and the first trimester left me sick and falling behind on our home. They were able to restore everything to near perfect! I highly recommend them to you if you are looking for a friendly, reliable and great company to come into your home. York the owner is a generous and kind man who will make sure his clients are happy. I will be returning to them!

I was waiting to see if this company did follow up calls or emails asking about their customers experience, but I havent received any of that. I booked this company for a Deep Clean with an additional oven clean. The week of my cleaning, I was expecting an email or call confirming the day or two days before and I heard nothing. I myself had to call the night before to see if they were coming and what time. The person that answered said that they were scheduled to come, but needed to place me on a hold to check with his manager about the time frame of arrival. He returns to the phone and says that his manager was driving and that they would call me later on. (Its about 5 something). I received a called at 8 something the next morning. (This rubbed me the wrong way) Anywho the lady arrived to clean (she was so nice and friendly btw) so she starts in the kitchen and about 40 mins later she asked me to check out the kitchen. I checked it out and noticed that she didnt do the stove so I told her I had requested for an oven clean. She was able to clean the inside, but said she didnt have the cleaning solution to get the rest of the stuff up and the inside of the oven door still looks crazy. (My issue with this was that she didnt know I had requested an oven clean). She did an amazing job with my living and bathroom but the stairwell ceiling still had dust webs and my oven door still isnt clean. I also went back and scrubbed the kitchen walls and Im figuring out my oven door. The lady that came to clean (Krystal) was very nice and did a good job, but its the lack of communication and follow up for me. Also, workers arriving without proper cleaning materials.

I just started services with MaidPro but I'm impressed by Laura's crew initial deep cleaning. The girls worked from ceiling to floor getting all the nooks and crannies. She was open to my suggestions and willing to work with me at any time with my needs and that's very important. The office worked with me to accommodate my day and times that worked out best for the girls to come in and clean.

I had 3 recurring cleans by this company and each one I had a problem. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and allowed them to clean 3 times because of the good reviews. Every time they clean for you they leave flyers asking for reviews and tips which I figured out is why they likely have many more reviews than other companies. The manager is hard to deal with and anytime you call with a problem she pretty much backs the staff and is not helpful. They leave a check list of everything they have done however I found many things that were checked off as being done were not actually done. After I made them aware of this the first clean they came for a re-clean free of charge. However, after the 2nd and 3rd cleans when I continued to find they did not clean everything they say they did I did not want to keep asking for a re-clean. They also over charge. They estimate how long they think they will need then charge you that amount whether or not they were there that amount of time. They charged me for a whole additional hour that they were not there cleaning. When this was brought up again the manager argued about it until I showed her footage from my cameras as to the time they entered and left the house. I do not recommend this company.

They don't just clean your house. . . they give you FREEDOM! With working full-time and having 18-month old twins, having my house cleaned is a load of my mind AND gives me the freedom to spend time with my family. I should have hired them a long time ago! I highly recommend this company! I was impressed with the attention to detail and the attention we received from the owner, York. He clearly wants his customers to be thrilled with the services. The cleans have exceeded my expectations! He responds to requests and questions promptly and KNOWS the right cleaners to use. My MaidPro NINA rocks it out! THANK YOU!!!

We hired MaidPro to clean a house we were putting up for sale. The crew did an amazing job! The attention to detail was awesome, from wiping out all cabinets to cleaning the refrigerator and tackling the (disgusting) basement. The house looked better than when we ever lived there!
