This is a wonderful garden center! The variety of plants is astounding and the prices are decent. I was able to find the male Castle Wall holly and the female to match Castle Spire!

My first visit to Ruhlig was amazing! Flowers and vegetables plants also perennials were just what I was looking for! Please visit you want be disappointed! If you're not interested in planting annuals they plenty decorated pot arrangements for you and they prices are reasonable .

Yesterday, I went to purchase produce at Ruhlig and left quite disappointed due to the lack of options. At one point in time, Ruhlig had the best produce in the area, but now, sadly, they don't - literally! I love to support locally, however, I am not sure what happened along the way and why their produce section of "farm and garden" store became a collection of clothing and home decor and the produce seems to have become an afterthought on a small truck display in the greenhouse.

Love it. Employees are very nice and very helpful. If you need somebody to lift your plants in your vehicle, they help you with no problem. Some things are a little bit overpriced but all of their arrangements is absolutely beautiful. I have to drive a half hour to get there, but it is so worth it.

This is such an amazing place. They have by far the most beautiful baskets and flats in the the area. Very reasonable prices and the staff is helpful and friendly. Actually spoke to the owner and he was super friendly and took time to answer questions and offer up very helpful info. I will be purchasing all my flowers here from now on.

Went there for a fabulous craft show in early December. I'll definitely be back to see what they offer when spring rolls around.

I always find healthy and wonderful plants for my yard here. I've never had issues with plants dying. Very helpful staff

Ruhligs is wonderful! Very helpful, friendly staff. A large assortment of potted flowers, flats, veggies and herbs. They have a large nursery also. I love visiting Ruhligs in the spring.

I've always gone to Schwartz's but decided to try Ruhlig's instead for some mums. Absolutely gorgeous mums they are massive also. 2 for 14! Will only go to Ruhlig from now on!

The Ruhlig craft vendor show, held December 7th and 8th, was a resounding success. The greenhouse venue provided a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the exceptional efforts of Tammy and her team. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ I can't wait to be a part of the next event.

Edit to show difference in quality. In the attached picture, the small fuschia plant on the left is what I got from Ruhligs 3 days ago. The massive fuschia plant on the right i bought from Schwartz today. This is spring 2025. I know I said I wasn't shopping at Ruhlig anymore but I went to see if they had ghost pepper plants and they did not, fuschia plants are my favorite so I picked it up. Went to Schwartz today, they had the ghost peppers, and these huge fuschia!

This place has ridiculous prices! We went today for some fall decor and the prices were outrageous! They had a small wreath with cheap fake flowers and a little cheap looking scarecrow and they wanted almost $30 for it. It seriously looked like they went to the Dollar Tree and got them. Wish I would have taken a picture. We walked around looking at the rest of the decor and everything was priced super high. We left and went to Schwartz where everything was reasonable priced and just as cute and they definitely had better quality of mums there.
I have been shopping here for the last 10 years but every year they get more expensive and this year was absolutely outrageous the whole season. They definitely jumped on the greed train so I won't be shopping here anymore.

Visited during the holidays, and there were vendors set up selling Christmas themed items. It was nice to walk around, look at the decorations and everything that the vendors were offering. I brought my dog and we walked through with no issues. Dog friendly ✅️

This is by far the best public greenhouse Downriver. They have a huge variety of annuals, perennials, and vegetables/herbs.
They take amazing care of their plants. Everything I have ever bought from here is healthy and thrives when transplanted.
If I didn’t have bills, I would literally spend all my money on their plants.

Didn't shop here for years because of the way they treated my daughter during a job interview back in 2018. However, four years later, we were looking for something very specific for our front yard and garden, and fate dictated we shop here. HUGE SELECTION! Found everything we were looking for. Five stars for having everything imaginable. (Too bad it took four years to get my business back.)

Best plant material available right now. A great place to buy easy set and go planters or buy what you want and grab a shovel. Lots of helpful staff around. Prices are good. Also have a "farm market" with lots of good cool stuff!!

Ruhlig Farms and Gardens is a great place to get you annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, shrubs, and trees!

We shop here every year, and in our most recent visit, we got some dirt, and their workers even help you haul the into your vehicle!

Great quality plants, and our trees are now 4 years old and thriving!

We love that there is always a huge selection of herb and vegetable plants as well!

Oh yeah, they also deliver! (For large items)

They have every kind of plant. The people are professional, friendly, helpful, pleasant. It’s everything I could ask for in a nursery. Except no marijuana plants.
