I love planting flowers in the Spring, and Ruhlig Farms & Gardens is the place I buy them year after year. The quality of their flowers is unmatched, and they have very fair prices! A wonderful place to also just walk around and enjoy the smells, and get ideas on what to plant next!

This nursery has the most beautiful flowers! I had the hardest time deciding on which plants to take home. They have a huge selection and the prices are very reasonable!

Absolutely great place for fresh produce. They also have a wonderful winter, holiday craft show. Very helpful staff to help with picking plants too.

I have loved Ruhlig’s since discovering it when I moved to the area last year. I’ve purchased an abundance of porch pots, ferns, mums, pumpkins, perennials, annuals, and accessories from them in the past year - this spring I purchased a dogwood for my front yard. I followed the directions I was given for planting and it was fine for about a week and it began to wilt. Then the leaves on the ends of branches began to dry up. After a couple more weeks as it continued to deteriorate, I was concerned that it wasn’t getting enough water and I loosened the soil around it and thoroughly soaked it. Now, it is nearly all dried up. Concerned, and hoping for help, I stopped in at the nursery today and was told they can keep plants and trees in pots and keep them alive and that I just took it home and killed it. Thanks for understanding. Thank you for supporting your customer. I’ve spent about a thousand dollars on plants this spring here. Plus the couple hundred for this tree. Over the years, I have planted and transplanted trees and shrubs. I have no trouble growing anything. I keep tropicals in my home, perennials in my yard, trees, and shrubs and everything thrives. I take great care with all of my plantings. But - I just “bought this tree and killed it”. I was told that Rhulig’s does not warranty or stand behind their trees. I am thoroughly disappointed. Don’t try to help me - just criticize me and leave me with a dying $239 tree. If you can’t support me - I don’t feel like I can support you. I’m no contractor and I don’t spend as much as I’m sure many of your other clients do - but it does sting to have given you my loyal business in my time here and you won’t return the courtesy. Frankly, I’m saddened and my feelings are bruised. This is a bad experience.

Big place and wide selection. I love coming here but last time I came in I bought a lily plant. It was mislabeled because what the tag said and what bloomed are not the same. It’s still pretty, but I would not have bought it.

RUN! …don’t walk to Ruhlig’s Home. I was blown away when I walked it at the transformation. Such unique treasures, all impeccably displayed… with the most friendly people. I can’t wait to continue to shop there… prepare to fill your arms with beautiful clothes and home decor. ♥️

We saw they had a Christmas craft show event going on this weekend so we decided to shoot out to Flat Rock and check it out.

Sunday at 1:00pm. It was a nice crowd. Really clean open warm open air type craft show. Vendors. Food truck. Adult beverages trailer and some really neat scenes to take pictures at.

We bought a few things. Had a rum hot chocolate and had a nice time. The home store is quaint and has allot to offer. We will return as we hear they host a few shows yearly. It is a nice fun event. And a nice nursery !

On time very professional will use again if needed

Justin and his crew were SO helpful. I needed a dumpster last minute and I also needed a variety of things thrown out. He got me a dumpster the very next day and was the only company that accepted all of the items I had. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anybody needing a dumpster, for big and small jobs.

Beware and expect to pay a lot more! Get your quote in writing, otherwise it will be a good bit more then you agreed on. You’ll then be told “You must have been mistaken” and instead of them being helpful, you’ll be threatened with them brining your trash back and dumping it on the ground, which I found EXTREMELY unprofessional. Even though this post will most likely be deleted because it’s not favorable, my aunt has lived in Southfield most of her life and works in Bloomfield Hills.. So she’ll get the story out.

I am not a customer, but the good deeds G's Trees did while trimming my neighbors trees will have me calling them in the future when I need a tree service. My wife moved her car to let them use our driveway to make it easier on them, and they disposed of a sizeable pile of branches that I had been procrastinating on disposing of myself for, let's just say, months. Not only that, but they did a great job cleaning up everything they chopped up. The work they did on my neighbors property looks very professional. I would highly recommend these guys, it's obvious to me that they care about their work.
