This team did a wonderful job removing two giant oak trees and grinding the stumps. They cleaned up so well that you would never know they were here. This was a very difficult job because the trees were so big and they were very close to electrical wires and they had to use a crane to go over our garage to get the trees out of the backyard.

If you're looking for a professional tree service, this is it. My father and I have known the owner for almost 30 years. Blain has been in business since the 1980's, he has the knowledge and equipment to be able to safely accomplish any job!

Blain's responded to myself and my neighbors in reference to an emergency removal of a huge oak limb that had fallen and damaged both of our roofs. Blain's removed the limb,tree and everything else. It was like nothing had ever happened. Their entire staff was organized, hard working and polite.

Great service and great price. We have a 30-40 Foot Pine Tree removed! They did it fast and cleaned up great! We decided to keep the stump and we have plans for a rose garden and bird bath in the new cleared out area. Thank you much!

It took a couple phone calls to get Blaine out to survey the damage caused by a huge limb coming down from a huge maple tree in my backyard. He gave me a price and said he could round up the equipment and a crew and take down the maple and a nearby chestnut tree also damaged that day. He did indeed. I thought the price was a bit high but reasonable considering the size of the tree (50'-60') and the equipment needed. It was down that day. Two days later he came back to grind both stumps.

I hired Blains to remove an extremely large maple tree in my back yard. It took a while for them to actually come out and get the job done HOWEVER, there were quite a few reasons for the delay namely the amount of rain we have been getting and the fact that the location of my tree in the yard needed approval from the business behind me to use thier property, and also the fact that a bunch of electrical lines ran throughout the tree (doesn't mix well with damp weather) the crew did finally show up and I have to say, they did an excellent job, they were quick, efficient and very professional. I highly recommend Blains THEY ARE DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! THEY ARE BUSY FOR A REASON - THEY ARE THE BEST!

Blain’s Tree Experts is a professional company! They were dressed in uniform and safety was their number one concern. I would recommend this company and will use them again. I felt very comfortable hiring them. They did a great job and did an even better clean up.

Blain himself came out and provided me a quote which was more than reasonable for the job I needed done. Blain and his assistant were more than professional and completely on task the entire time. They were quick, efficient, and the clean up was amazing. If you need someone to do the job the right way with no complaints, then I recommend you use Blain's.

WOW! I can’t say enough good things about this company, but I will start here because I’m not used to writing a review for anyone. Initially, I got referrals from friends and family and from the city officials from where I live. I called for an estimate but the voicemail stated they were extremely busy. They said they would get back with me and gave me the option to send a text for faster service. So I left a voicemail and a text message and they did indeed get back to me within 24 hours. From there we set up an approximate time for the estimate. In this case, the owner himself came out, which I was very surprised, and he went over the details of the job. He was very knowledgeable and professional and I did not feel pressured at all. I felt satisfied, gave the deposit and he informed me the job would be done within 30-45 days (pending weather conditions.) He also stated if he had scheduled jobs in my area, mine could possibly be done sooner along with the others.
I waited a little longer than I thought (what’s an extra week or two, for quality service?) It was TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT (my tree was probably there for 75-100 years, it was massive and over my house and power lines.

The crew was very respectful and mindful of my property as they were cutting limbs and removing them from my yard. They work safe, fast and efficient. I could not believe that my tree was down and all the clean up was done in a matter of hours! I HIGHLY recommend Blains Tree to anyone needing this service. He’s busy for a reason.

We have use Blain's tree service in the past and it has been nothing but a professional experience . But yesterday when we came home to some unknown person trimming our trees. That we never hired and leaving a huge mess for us. We reached out to Blain's. Blain himself came to our rescue taking away a truck load of limbs.
I would most definitely recommend Blain's Tree Service. They go above and beyond for their customers.

Blain’s has worked in our yard on 3 occasions. The first time multiple large trees were removed with no property damage. The second time he removed a large oak tree from very close to my home. They got it down with no damage to my house, or yard. Last year he came out himself when a large, broken tree limb was hanging over my Koi pond. I called him in a panic worried about my fish. Blain came over the next day, and got it down. I just signed another contract to get more work done. The company is professional, and I have been very satisfied with their work. Reasonable prices too.

We used Blain's tree service to trim some trees over our home and remove a dead tree in the backyard. I couldn't ask for better results. I can now enjoy my deck without worrying about sticks randomly tumbling down. The job was done skillfully so none of the charm the tall oak trees bring to my home were taken away with the trimming. Well worth the wait!

Long review
We hired Blain's to remove a large tree close to our house and large overhanging trunk over top of our house. During the quote the employee came off as very professional and straight to the point, he gave the quote and I simply agreed in hopes that hiring a supposedly reputable company, with little bartering, and paying in full would get the work done cleanly and efficiently. I was wrong. Originally projected at 7-10 days, our tree work did not begin until over a month later, when the company took down our fence and trimmed some easier to reach branches for a couple of hours before leaving. Surely they'll be back tomorrow to finish the tree and put the fence back up? Not quite. One month and many text messages later they returned to finish the work. At this point we were just excited to finally have the work done and I was prepared to forgive and forget. Unfortunately the work was executed so poorly that I can't help but try to warn others to avoid this company. After getting the crew to agree to actually do ALL the work that was payed for and not just one tree, the chaos began. They removed the tree very quickly, but not without massive holes in the yard caused by falling chunks and broken pieces of deck (to be fair, we are replacing the deck and the service knew that so I suppose they thought it didn't matter if it were broken?). Time for the worst part, during the tree removal we hear a louder bang come from outside. One larger trunk of tree came down and landed on our overhead electric service, severing the ground from the pole but leaving the two hots hooked up, still supplying unground power to our house. I noticed this and wanted to wait and see if the employees would mention it to me and call the power company. Needless to say I had to call the power company myself and have it repaired.

So I write this review now, with my fence having never been rebuilt and yard full of holes, to try and suggest to anyone who needs tree work done in the future to hire literally anyone else. Overall 0 out of 5 stars, an unsettling and messy experience from start to finish with a lot of work left incomplete.

We've had Blain's come out on 2 occasions: one to remove a huge silver maple in our backyard and the second time to remove a huge pile of dirt. He worked us seamlessly into his already full schedule both times and has very competitive prices. He's a professional, friendly, get-down-to-business guy. His wife and daughter were with him when they removed the tree and all 3 of them were awesome. You can tell Blain loves what he does, he is a beast when it comes to getting stuff done. Would recommend them to anyone!

My trees were badly damaged from a storm, causing damage to my home, the branches were hitting against the bedroom window and the side of the house. Blaine's tree service came out and assessed the damage determining that it was essential to cut them down to prevent further issues to the home or a window getting broke and hurting someone. He was on time, professional and did a great job. He not only was quick, courteous and respectful of my home and the neighbors-he cleaned up every single branch and all the leaves. I had a 35ft tree in my backyard removed which was hanging over my roof. Blain's Tree Experts did an amazing job removing it. They are all about safety and ensuring that your property doesn't get damaged. He brought the small lift in so that my less than a year old concrete driveway would not get damaged. They leave your yard and your neighbors yard cleaner then when they started. These guys are the real deal and are the best at what they do. Anybody needs a tree removed these are your guys.

In the Tornado that hit Brownstown 2 weeks ago, we had major damage to our huge Maple tree. The tree is in our back yard and fairly inaccessible.
Blain’s worked with our neighbors for access. and was able to take out this 60 foot giant with minimal damage to the rest of the yard. I don’t think anyone else could have handled this project.

Blain did an excellent job on our property in Allen Park! We hired him to remove a tree and trim up our property line. The entire job took less than 3 hours with the use of a hydraulic lift that fit up our driveway, and it was done at a high professional quality. In addition, the pricing was very fair, and the clean-up job was outstanding. I highly recommend Blain's services for your property's needs.
