Joe and his crew did a great job for my blind neighbor who needed large tree limbs removed that posed a threat of damage to his house. They allowed use of the bucket truck to replace a yard light on a high pole near the trees. They cleaned up after the job and the price was very reasonable. They showed up right on time. Have used them before and will do so again! Recommended!

I requested a quote from the Discount for “putting three trees on the ground”. They came out in a timely manner and gave me a very reasonable quote. I hired them for the job and they advised they could get to me in a week or so. They called a couple days later and said they have availability and asked if they could do the job right then (awesome!). I advised them that would be great and that I wouldn’t be home but to drop the trees and I would take it from there. When I got home and saw the work they did I was so impressed. All three trees were lying in the same area and same direction. This made my job of cutting and splitting the wood so much easier. I would recommend them for any job you have and I appreciate the work they did at my residence!

Joe just finished cutting down a very large maple tree in our back yard. Started early this morning, removed all the wood and ground the stump. Did a wonderful job! What was even more impressive was the cleanup afterwards. I would strongly recommend Joe for any stump grinding or tree removal, big or small!

Joe at Discount Tree Service removed a large tree that was a foot from our house. He also trimmed a large, unkempt tree in the front yard. His price was good and he was fast. We will be having him back in the Spring. Would recommend him to family and friends...overall was pleased with the exceptional services we received!

Highly recommend this company. Joe came out the day after a big storm to assess our tree damage. He quoted us a fair price and was able to get us on the schedule quickly. They did a great job cleaning up our tree and best of all was their great clean up job. You could barely tell they had been there. I appreciated Joe's follow up call to make sure we were happy with the job. We will definitely have them out for any tree work we need in the future!

Joe did an amazing job cutting an old pine tree down sandwiched right next to our fence.

We went with him because he had the lowest quote out of everyone we reached out to. He even squeezed us in 3 days after I called which was weeks ahead of the others as well.

They surprised me with how fast they had the tree down, and they grinded the stump down very nicely. You can barely tell a tree used to be there. I think they were gone after 2 hours and cleaned up after themselves very well.

I needed 2 trees removed. Joe came and quoted me a fair price and did the work in a very timely manner. both trees came down with no damage to surrounding trees or my home. then he removed the stumps and graded the area to make the area ready to plant grass. The heavy storms Grand Rapids had last week knocked half of a tree down in my backyard. The other half left standing was leaning towards the house. I gave DTS a call and the tree was cut and gone by Friday. Amazing.

I called Joe at Discount Tree Service and he came out the next day to discuss trimming trees that were overhanging the house. He put us on the schedule and said it would be 2-3 weeks but then called and said he could come today. He and his helper did a great job with no damage to anything. I would definitely hire him again!
