They like to cut off concrete mixers trucks on the interstate and slam on the brakes to make their exit just to not have to get in line. Then he will try to cuss you out like you did something wrong. He's a worthless jerk of a human

Called him for a big tree that fell in my yard due to the big storm. Said he would come after 5 pm. We rushed home from metro Detroit only to get a call from him at 4:10 trying to find my house. I gave him directions and said I would be there in a few minutEd since he was early and that we needed 4 more trees down and I wanted to access the Pines that the first tree fell on. We get to the house at 4:15 and he is gone. Calls up not sure which ones I wanted down. Gave me a huge quote then hung up on me. Wasted my Sunday with family in detroit rushing back to meet him. Needless to say don't use him.

Called Hank and had a tree Stump Ground at my daughters house, fair price and had it removed the next day with no issues

This company was by far the best price quoted for the job! Not only that, but they came out the same day as the initial call to do the estimate. In 2 days, they had removed 16 trees and several other stumps. Everything was exactly as expected. I would highly recommend them!

Trimmed a bunch of our trees and took out ones that were leaning from previous summer storm. Fast and very considerate of other structures close to trees! Definitely have them again!

Hank's prices are expensive and he tried to take advantage of my family. He quoted us $1900 to take down an oak tree, grind it, take the wood away, and trim trees. He cut down the tree as expected, but did not grind the stump the next day as promised. He took our check and cashed it with no intention of coming back. Fortunately we were able to put the check on hold and he was back the following day to grind the stump. He also convinced us to keep the wood as people would pay money for the wood, which isn't the case. He left a huge mess of saw dust on our roof, which my husband spent hours getting off, and left truck tracks in our yard. We just had a secondary quote from another company that quoted us $3,000 to take down and grind 8 oak trees in our yard. Hank is not the best value and I dound him to be dishonest.

They removed 2 large trees, stump removal and clean up. Clean up was not so great…but Overall, they did a good job. My brother was visiting from Kansas and was helping my 83 year old mother set this up…the boss wanted to work with “the man of the house”, not my mother who was the actual owner of the home. That was bad, since my mother overheard that remark, and felt very insulted. My brother told him he WOULD be working with my mother and myself (daughter) since he would be leaving by the weekend and I actually live there and care for my mother.

This group was knowledgeable, used teamwork, they were very polite and considerate. They went above and beyond to be sure the necessary work was complete to my satisfaction. Would recommend.

My dad recently hired Hanks and was over the moon impressed with how great a job they did taking down his tree and putting mulch in his arboretum. We are really happy with Hank and his crew. He gave us a great deal on removing about 7 dying spruces and two maples and was able to start the day fter the initial quote. They got it done in two days of cutting down and one day of stump grinding the week of Christmas. They cleaned up the yard nicely, Hank did a great job grinding the stumps, and they left the maple in good size chunks for us to cut into firewood ourselves.

Hank's Tree Service did a great job of removing 3 trees, 2 stumps and brush from our property. One tree in the back yard was hard to get to but they were resourceful and got the job done. They were able to do the job right away and were flexible with some last minute changes. The crew is polite and they did a great job cleaning up. We would use their service again.

I had three large trees go down in storm a couple weeks ago . Jacob and crew came and gave me a free estimate. They were had alot to tackle. They were here a day a 1/2 . Non stop working . The crew were efficient and friendly and cleaned up my yard when finished. I recommend them and I will hopefully have them back for more work !!

Hanks was on time. They took our tree down as requested. They raked up the yard when finished. Friendly professional and included us in decision making of the process. They saved the boxwood bushes that surrounded the huge birch they took down.

Worst plow service and also the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you are considering using Jack's service to maybe save a couple of dollars please re-consider. Our driveway was never properly plowed even after meeting with the driver. The back blade hit the edge of our garage door and was never fixed after I made several attempts to contact Jack's. I don't typically post reviews, in this case I felt compelled to share my awful experience with this company.
