Worst customer service from a company I've ever dealt with. Asked for a quote, they proceeded to come and give me one. When I said I had another company quote a little lower they then in short version stated I wasted their time because i didnt respond as soon as they messaged. Not sure how you earn clients like that but won't be me

Jeffree Findley was very professional, responsive and personable. I would recommend him/New Leaf highly. The retaining wall turned out great.

Jeffree and Craig were great to work with. They did a wonderful job. The back patio and front walkway are fantastic. They worked like mad to get everything done before the weather turned and made sure the driveway/yard was clear of debris before leaving every evening. I first used New Leaf about 20 years ago to create and, over a few years, execute a landscape plan for a house my wife and I purchased in Ann Arbor. About two years ago, we turn to New Leaf again to create and, over a few years, execute a landscape plan for a house we built in Dexter. New Leaf hasn't missed in a step. They are creative, professional, and competitively priced. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Pete worked with our needs to create a beautiful design that worked well for our space. He and his crew were hard-working and efficient— putting the plans into action in a personable, professional manner. The finished product looked even better than we imagined.

We built a house in 2017 in Chelsea Michigan and waited a couple years to do landscaping. I called New Leaf Landscaping because they were in Chelsea and I like to help local businesses. I am so glad I did. Jeff Findley stopped out and talked with me about what my vision was, what my favorite colors were, what my favorite plants were. They were willing to stagger the landscaping over time to accommodate my budget and some on-going construction. They also built new landscaping around existing trees which I appreciated. The landscaping they installed was wonderful. A dry creek bed design that blends seamlessly with the surrounding woods. Lots of purple as requested. Winterberry bushes that give me red berries in the winter. Hardscape rocks, boulders, and stepping stones. Couldn’t be happier with the work. Looking forward to next project.

We had New Leaf install a field-stone retaining wall. They did an amazing job and many people who have seen it have complemented how well put-together it looks. Staff are friendly and worked efficiently. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to others.

We wanted a landscaping company that would listen to what we were thinking, then give us suggestions based on their knowledge. We also wanted sketches and designs to help us visualize the project. Jeff provided all that and him and his crew were friendly, courteous and did a great job implementing the plan. There was a lot of communication before, during and after the project to make sure it went smooth. Highly recommend.

We hired New Leaf to do a comprehensive evaluation and total renovation of our backyard, which was in very poor condition. What made them stand apart is that they are a truly a Design and Full Service Landscaping service. New Leaf sketched out a detailed plan for our yard and took into account our concerns and preferences, such as water infiltration into our basement during storms, and a preference for bird loving plants. The final plan was reviewed in great detail with us and was refined until we were ready to start.

The next step was the physical transformation of the yard which occured over the course of about two weeks. In that time they kept us up to date on their progress and checked-in on any issues as they went. Each day they took the time to clean up the site and hose down our front driveway.

We would highly recommend this Company based on our backyard transformation experience. They are very professional in how they conduct business and knowledgeable about their services. We also felt their pricing was fair for the quality of the work.

Pete and his crew replaced a couple of dead trees and planted dozens of small shrubs or plantings in a few flower beds. Pete was responsive throughout the entire project. His crew did a great job. They cleaned up the debris and swept the walkways. We would definitely use New Leaf Landscaping again.

We moved to Ann Arbor in the late summer 2016, and the yard was a hodgepodge of weeds, overgrown planting beds, and a trees growing into the house. On top of that the front walkway was cracked and heaved in multiple places. Originally we planned on having the walkway replaced with a simple brick paver walkway and redoing the planting beds. We found New Leaf on Angie's List and contacted them for a quote. The owner Pete was very responsive and was on site that same week to look at the site. He assessed our yard, and discussed our desires for the design, functionality of the space, and our budget. We discussed our eventual desire to redo the back yard as well, and he suggested a more creative design incorporating the front, back, and side yards. Within a week he had a beautiful plan drawn up with a detailed quote for the entire yard, broken into stages to accommodate our budget. It was like nothing we would ever have come up with on our own. Pete was great to work with, accommodating our busy schedules to get the design finalized. They were able to start work a few days early, and called to make sure that was ok. The crew introduced themselves when they arrived, and through the whole process they made sure we were happy with how things were going. The entire project was done efficiently and professionally, and the results are gorgeous. There were a few plants and trees that did not handle the first winter after planting, and New Leaf replaced them without any issue. In one case, the ground turned out to be much wetter than initially planned, and Pete replaced the plants with some more water-tolerant ones. Of all the work we had done on the house since we moved in, New Leaf was by far the most responsive, communicative, prompt, and responsible company we have worked with. I cannot recommend them enough. We have now completed all three stages of landscaping our yard (Summer 2018), and it is now the best looking yard in the neighborhood. We are constantly receiving complements on the design and functionality of the space.

Jeff and his team were great! They listened to what we wanted and helped transform our ideas into an outdoor living space where we love spending time. Their craftsmanship rebuilding our patio and front steps, and constructing our pergola was top notch. They finished the project within budget and in the estimated time. Best of all, they were trustworthy and cared about friendly, responsive customer service. We would highly recommend them!

New Leaf is a very professional operation and Pete is great to work with! He had excellent communication through the whole process and had a special knack of turning our vague requests into a workable, creative design. We absolutely love our front yard and have asked Pete and his team to return and make our back yard beautiful as well. It was worth every penny!

We hired New Leaf Landscaping to build a new front patio and landscape the front entryway. We also added planter boxes in our back yard and they fixed some old landscaping gone wrong provided by a different company several years ago. The short review is they did a great job, Jeff is a wonderful designer. They take the time to do things correctly. We recommend them highly.

The centerpiece was a new front patio. We needed a wall that was not too high or low, because of its front of the house location. We also needed gates. Jef designed a wall and gate treatment that matched our house and gives us nice extra outside space. He integrated a new front walk so the whole front seamlessly flows from the patio to the driveway.

We have very nice new planter boxes so we can feed ourselves come the apocalypse, or just because we like to grow some stuff.

The rest of the project just redid our prior landscaping (edging, mulch, some plants), just installed correctly now.

New Leaf Landscaping did a fantastic job on our yard. We chose them because of work they had done on our friend's house. Pete put a lot of thought into the design and gave us lots of options for design and budget. He was easy to work with and made sure we were happy throughout the entire process. The team was extremely professional and did a great job. We are happy to have such a nice yard thanks to New Leaf and would recommend their work to anyone interested in having a beautiful yard that stands out in their neighborhood.

Couldn't have asked for a better landscaping experience. New leaf made everything we had in our heads come to life and has been helpful after the job was competed with our plant maintenance questions. Very thankful to have them in our local area 🙏
